"What, like the massage parlor was a bad idea?" Maya said, pouting.
"Yes... it was," Phoenix sighed. "You do remember when Gumshoe came, right?"
"Oh, yeah!" Maya grinned. "That was the day you were on 'sensual massage duty', right?"
Phoenix shivered. "R-right," he said. He took another sip of his wine and continued to stare at the door. "They've gotta get here soon..."

Appearance: Very, very, very blond hair and dark eyes. A strange combination, yes, but it looked well together. She doesn't dye her hair, but it needs a lot of loving care to keep it at it's golden best. Usually wears a red uniform-like thing, probably because she had always wanted to be a police officer, a white hair band with a matching scarf and white boots. When at work, she wears the work uniform, but insists that she wears her hair band. Which is okay, because it goes with the colour scheme.
Personality: Energetic, bubbly, giggly. The real happy-go-lucky girl. She is sometimes bossy, sometimes to the point were people get angry, and hates people who think they know everything. The talkative side of her is what most people see, but, when you annoy her, she can calm up completely. Prone to talking over everyone else, she can sometimes come across as ignorant of other peoples thought and feelings, but she only talks so much because she is worried that if she says nothing people with think she is boring. To her friends she is caring, considerate and knows when to stop, but to people she doesn't like, she is sarcastic, impatient and sometimes even offensive...
And I'll drag Miles along too. ^^

Miles couldn't believe it. He was being dragged along to a party he didn't even want to go to by his girlfriend.
Jessica stuck her tongue out at him. "Aw, you're no fun," she giggled. "Besides, it's Nick. What could possibly go wrong?"
He remembered last year's party and dismissed it with a shudder.
Jessica cocked her head at him. "What's up?"
"Nothing. Let's go."
Jessica giggled and ran towards the car, calling childishly behind her, "I call shotgun!"
He smiled reluctantly, and followed her.
When they got there, Jessica hopped out of the car and then waited at the door for Miles.

Moments later, Phoenix came out to see what was holding Maya up. "... Edgeworth! It's been so long!" Phoenix said, extending a hand for a handshake. "I thought you were over in Britain...?"

Gumshoe tripped on the door as he entered the office. Maya looked at him surprised, while Edgeworth and his friend scurried a bit deeper in the department.
"Are you O.K. detective?" asked Maya as she helped him stand up "You look excited about something"
"Ah, yes. Today I got my paycheck!" replied Gumshoe
"Oh, that's great! How much did you get?"
"Not much actually...
but the point is, I finally saved enough for my whole new trenchcoat from that thrift store next street. In fact, I'm using it right now! What do you think about it?" asked Gumshoe emotioned"Your trenchcoat...errr...it looks exactly the same as your other trenchocats detective" answered back Maya
"...You can be a meanie when you propose it" Gumshoe entered the office and placed in the table a big bowl of instant noodles he had prepared just for the ocasion.

"Yeah! Now it's a party, huh, Nick?" Maya took a bottle from a table marked, "Sake".
"Maya, put that down. You're not old enough," said Phoenix.
"Come on, Nick! Why can't I have a sip or two?" Maya asked, with puppy dog eyes.
"Maya... you are aware Detective Gumshoe's in the same room as us, right?" Phoenix chuckled to himself and took the bottle. "Now, who wants a glass?"
"Me-!"
"Not you, Maya," said Phoenix. Maya pouted and went over to the snack table.

But he knew he shouldn't be expressing those feelings now, right? This was a party after all. However, it would be better if she had already arrived, she always finds the way to find the good side of everything, even himself.

Gumshoe stood by the snack table all alone, and he still looked quite depressed until...
"Sorry for being late sir!"
"Ah, uh" Gumshoe turned around "Ah, Maggey!" Gumshoe smiled "Don't go calling me 'sir' anymore....it sounds weird"
"Yes sir!
err...I mean....'Gummy'"Gumshoe's cheek turned red for a second
"Errr...and what took you long"
"It's my luck to blame Gummy. I was in the corner and, suddenly, this black cat passed in front of me...and jumped into me! the cat took my purse so I had to follow it sir!"
"Ah, did he scratch you!" Gumshoe looked angry and ready to chase after every single cat in the city
"No, I'm alright and finally catch that cat. But when I turned around, I was lost! That's when I sent you the message"
Gumshoe remembered how odd it seemed, Maggey asking him to meet her in the party.
"I'm glad you are fine"
"Thanks sir!

Pearl skipped along the pavement, her pretzel hair bouncing behind her, a pink envelope with something scribbled on the front clutched in her little hands.
Her eyes came upon a door that was unmistakably the one she was looking for (the paint was chipped, and there was a dent at the bottom, made by some person kicking it), and she skidded to a hault.
"Mr Edgeworth is already here," Pearl said to herself, looking at the expensive red car parked outside, before rapping twice on the door. After all, politeness costed nothing.

On his way there, he saw two people waiting at the door. He noticed the odd hair, and the small figure, while the other person he didn't seem to remember. "Hey Pearls! You here for the party too?"

Pearl had decided that talking to Larry would be a safer bet than talking to the lady that had joined her at the door. She didn't look very friendly. And she reminded Pearl of someone...
Her eyes settled on the wriggling box that Larry was gripping onto, "Um...what is in that box?"

Surprised, Trucy gives a cry of delight and runs into his arms. "Kaiser!"
Apollo looks to the ceiling and pretends to be observing the paint, at least until Kaiser throws him a friendly punch.
"Ah, come on, you lil porcupine! Aren't you going to say hi to Gavin Junior?"
Apollo feigns ignorance of his presence for a few seconds longer, then bursts into laughter and hugs Kaiser too. He could never resist this dashing boy who so much resembled both Klavier and Ema at the same time.
"Look, I can't stay for long, okay? My mom just asked me to give this to you."
"What is it?" Trucy grabs the package and starts shaking it.
"Don't open it yet." Kaiser was dead serious.
"Mom said not to open it until-"
"Until the time is right, yeah, yeah. That's so cliche," complained Trucy.
Apollo's brows crease at the sight of the package.
"Okay." Apollo is a bit confused, but accepts that Ema knows what she is doing.
"I gotta go now. Viel Glück wunsch ich euch!" Klavier winks to an utterly bemused Trucy and with that, strides out of the room.

Ema had just gotten a microscope(shouldent she already have one?). she was so happy
, she wans't watching where she was going! she walked right passed the party... that was when she noticed she went too far. so, she turned around. she knocked on the door and heard jessica's music playing. "UGH! the glimmoris fop must be here!!"she caught sight of lana. (MAJOR AND STRANGE TIME DIFF.) she yelled, "hey lana! whats up? i didn't know you were coming!" before she went inside.
