((For those of you who know Metal Gear Solid, you're thinking, "What the hell is he thinking?! Metal Gear Solid has like, the most confusing story ever! Like, EVER!" Well, yes. Yes it does. But I haven't been on in a really, really long time and I just want to try, because, well, I just feel like it.

Now, since the plot is so complicated, I'll explain what I can for you all, without spoilers, if I can. I'll see what I can do.



That's the first happening in Metal Gear Solid, chronologically. Now, we can start here, during this time.

What I cooked up was that after Naked Snake retrieved the Philosopher's Legacy, a secret, covert squadron of British special agents attacked him, trying to steal back the money. Anyone can join, as a British agent, Soviet guard, American reinforcement, or any other type of person, group, use your imagination! In the Metal Gear Solid universe, there is no impossible. Do what you want, but a quick forewarning:

In order to stay within MGS canon, Naked Snake and Solid Snake must stay alive, so I will control them, and only them. Anyone can be any other Snake as well, including Liquid Snake and Solidus Snake, but only after Snake Eater.

Birds chirp in the distance. Grass waves in the humid forest breeze. Among the sights and sounds a small rabbit hops slowly around in the brush, only to smell something... different. It moves towards the source of the smell nonchalantly, only to be snatched quickly and quietly from the forest floor and between the teeth of Naked Snake, the American agent sent into the Russian forest in search of the Philosopher's Legacy.

"Not bad," Snake muttered inbetween bites of rabbit. He looked into its small, beady eyes and frowned, patting its head lightly. "Sorry, pal. Gotta eat sometime." After finishing the little creature, he rose up slowly, observing his surroundings carefully. Russian soldiers came and went through this pass very frequently, and it wasn't going to be long until one of the patrols came through again. The agent crept along, clutching his handgun and knife carefully, watching around the area observantly.

In the distance, he could see a small mountain base. There were soldiers surrounding the perimeter of the settlement. "With so many guards, there has to be something big in there. Let me check in with Major."

He flicked on his radio and gave a call to the Major, who's codename was to be Major Tom.

"Major?" Snake asked. "Yes, Snake. What is it?" the British man responded. "I've found some kind of base, or garrison. It's heavily fortified, and the troops are well armed. AK-47's, mostly." "Hmm... With such fortification, there should be something inside. I'm giving you permission to infiltrate the base, but under no circumstance are you to be found. This is a stealth mission, Snake."

Naked Snake looked up slowly. "Yeah. Over and out."

He got up slowly, his bandanna flowing in the wind. He muttered under his breath, "Showtime."
