Once Exo confirmed Steel was okay, she went back outside and resumed slashing the billions of zombies out there. Since she was starting to get tired, she stayed in one spot and slashed all around her in an attempt to save her strength.

"These things probably aren't, but judging by how many there are...I'd say we'll have our hands full for a few hours. That means the supers from the Legion can find a way around us while our hands are full with these things," Exo replied, slashing through more zombies.

Shadow growled in frustration. "Fine!" He snapped, and evaporated. 1..2 seconds later, a hole appeared under Ophelia and Carmen and the shadow was wisked away. He rematerialized with them in front of Zarran, who said, "I don't know which is more pathetic. The fact that you're late, or the fact that you're the only ones here so far."

Dies realised that he had been left behind. What the hell was going on? Surely he hadn't annoyed the Coward so much that he wasn't allowed to fight. He was pissed off as he left the bar, and headed back to his sleeping quarters.

On the way back to his quarters, he felt the presence of Shadow nearby. He decided that he would find out why he was left behind, so he followed his senses until he ended up outside a room that he hadn't been in before. He burst in and yelled "What the hell are you doing here, and why did you leave me behind?!"

Carmen: ~Base 34 (?)~

Carmen was blinking out the remainder of the spots that remained over her eyes from Shadow's transport as she watched the scene unfold. Listening to the little back to forth between Dies and Zarran was helping bring a certain something back into focus through her dizzy spell. Especially when she heard that certain something suddenly say, "Hey you. I wanna make a deal."

The last of the spots out of her eyes had finally fading, Carmen said, "Sir," she dipped her head in a half apologetic movement, "I hate to interrupt your little back and forth but since the topic seems to be the centerpiece of what I was going to say...You don't trust Dies, which is why you're leaving him behind, but somehow you trust a traitor from the enemy side? Her 'reasons' for wanting to come on this could come with the 'reason' that ends with her with a well placed knife at our backs at an inconvenient moment."

Zarran glanced at ophelia And said "I can't trust him and I can trust her because they both have ulterior motives. He want's money, power, and a place in this new world. She, on the other hand, wants something else. And I know what you meant Dies. Do you really think I'm so blind as to what you think of me? But if it matters that much, I suppose you can come. But I'll be keeping an eye on you." He pressed a button on the Teleport 200.

Dies was furious at his parents being brought into it "You are a sick bastard Zarran and this organisation is sure to fail under your leadership." Then he had an Idea, using his psychic powers he entered Zarran's Mind and made him think "I am a failure." then he turned to Ophelia and said "C'mo, let's get outta here."
