So listen to what I have to say and maybe join? ^_~
THE RULES:
Your character must be accepted by a me before you can join the role play.
NO GOD-MODING!!! This rule is important! You cannot control another person’s character unless that person gives you express permission to do so. You control your own characters and that is it!
No needless chatting - if you find that you are spending more time having bracket conversations that you are roleplaying, then take your conversation somewhere else (PM?)
No over-dramatics or plot-hogging. This role play is for all of us. We do not appreciate it when people suddenly come in and change the whole direction of the storyline. You can add to the storyline, but do not hog it.
No using this RP to promote your stuff, eg other threads or RPs.
Thoughts are generally in italics.
No double posting, if you can help it.
The story:
There are many people out there like the Sohma's that hold a special curse. Some say it’s more forgiving, while others say it’s what they deserved. The curse for these people is very similar- the curse of taking on an animal form when in bodily contact with the opposite gender of someone outside the curse. For fear of exposure, any recordings of these people were destroyed. Now, they begin to find their way back, meeting- not only the Sohmas- but, others like them...
Summary -
New members of the zodiac are chosen, a meeting of the Sohma family is to be held to decide who is to be the new members.....
After they are chosen the head decides that they can attempt liing a normal life. If they can keep their identy secret for six months then they can live like normal people - if not, kill the person who found out.
The characters?
(none will be from Fruits Basket, this RP is based on Fruit Basket - you can have personalities like previous characters. This ibased after the Fruits Basket story...)

Bio: She's calm, quiet and secretive. A bit like Shigure, actually, minus the pervertness.
Other: She is the house-keeper of the Yamachi household and is in charge of anyone who lives with her. She's a hard-working woman and always likes her house to be neat and tidy. Her dog form is a Siberian Husky. :3
Home?: In the forest, near a stream where she gets her freshwater.

Appearence: Brown hair brown eyes Average built, blue camo shirt and blue camo pants and blue camo shoes.
Bio: A typical personwho was born with the Zodiac form as a cat. he is handosme, nice, quiet, but a bit of a reckless whenever he gets mad. And he is also good at fighting.
Other: He plays good at Guitar and singing.
Home?: In a log cabin built in the forest by a waterfall for him to meditate.

Also the test they are going through means they'd interact with lots and lots of people, if they turned into their Zodiac animal in the middle of school they would have to erase their memory for the whole time they meet and as shown in the show it is not a good thing and therefore they are proving to the head that they can live in the real world - if one person finds out then the test is failed - showing to te head they can't keep a secret....))

Appearence: An angled face with slightly upturned eyes that are almond shaped and a striking amber colour. Long hair, reaching to about her waist that is a firey red. Wears black clothes.
Bio: A very fierce character, doesn't get on well with many people, but those who she is friends with she will protect with her life. She never knew her parents, she was abandoned in the forest when she was 5. She has a sharp intelligence gained only from survival experience.
Other: Very fast runner. Makes most of her money catching and returning lost pets with a reward on their heads.
Home?: A small cabin in the forest that she found empty when she was about 12.

We can start now ^-~))Another day for Yasmin, she returned home,
"Mum! I'm home!" she cried as she threw her bag on the floor.
"Hello dear," was the reply from her mum, "I got you job by the way."
Yasmin wwalked into the living room, "what did you do!?"
"I got you job!" rejoyed he mum.
Yasmin hugged her mum in delight, "what job is it?"
"Well, I know you love animals.." began her mum.
"You didn't mum?" said Yasmin knowing what job she had got, "you got me the job at the vets!?"
"Yes, but it's on the other side of town,"
"But I have to go through the forest."
"You'll be fine, quick get change and go!"
"What!?"
"Your job starts at in ten minuites, sorry!"
"Thank you thank you thank you!" cried Yasmin as she rushed off to get change.
Once changed she went outside and hurried through the forest...

Falene padded silently through the trees, bow and arrow in hand. She was well aware of the old fashioned-ness of it, but when she ran out of money, it was the only weapon she could find in the cabin to catch food with.
Spotting the rabbit, Falene stopped and aimed carefully, feeling a familiar twinge of regret at the unecessary slaughter, but as there were no lost pets at the moment, she had no choice. Closing one eye for better aim, she drew back the arrow and got ready to release before the rabbit straightened, alert, before darting off into the trees.
Cursing, Falene put the bow and arrow away, searching through the trees for the disturbance before spotting a small girl walking through the forest.

Falene slung quiver over her back and, with practiced silence, padded closer to the small girl. She crouched behind a bush and narrowed her amber eyes at the girl from between two branches.
People don't usually come by here...
Falene hadn't spoken to someone since her last pet retrieval, and that was about four months ago. The small girl looked too innocent and carefree to know the dangers in this part of the forest, so Falene sighed with resignation and stood, crossing her arms, her firey hair falling over her eyes menacingly.
"You there."

Yasmin knew that for a long ime she was lost she was just walking round aimlessly hoping to find a exit, she had left her map at home.
She then realised how rude she just sounded.
"Sorry!" she apoligized, "I shouldn't of been scared, I mean loads of people go wandering round in the forest, about evening time. Back to finidng the veternary! I mean sorry for the bother. Wait, you called me? What can I do for you?"

Falene narrowed her eyes at the girl, knowing that with her red hair and black clothes she was a formidable figure.
"Actually, people DON'T go wandering around the forest. Not this part anyway."
Fenale purposefully adjusted her quiver to draw attention to it.
"If you need to go to the vets, I'll take you. But you're not to come to this area of the forest again. It's dangerous, and I don't need a dead body scaring away the animals."
This was a slight exaggeration, as the only dangerous animal was her. But she didn't need a little girl blundering around and scaring away the hunt.
All of this was spoken in a matter of fact tone, and Falene's eyes were staring into the small girl's.
