((The High School RP was so successful, so I've got a theory as to why these social RPs work so much better than war-time or murder mystery RPs. They provide a more comfortable space, rather than the all-business style of the more serious RPs, which attract mostly guys, and everyone knows that no RP can be successful if it happens to be a sausage fest. Yay for the ladies!

Anyway, the theme is simple; it's a mall. Characters should be OCs, but I'm not one to restrict freedom, so go ahead and do what you want. Your character, your rules for it. Just not your rules for anyone ELSE'S character. You guys know the drill.

However, characters must fit into one of two categories: employee, or visitor. Remember, this is a mall, so if you like this particular character, who works here, your visitor can go there. This is a social RP, or "watercooler," as I've just coined right now. Not everyone needs to be shopping for electronics. By the way, two people can work in the same store, no problems.

Appearance: His face is young, with slight acne and long hair that gets into his eyes frequently. His uniform is red and black, with a hat that he never wears.
Other: Chris has a terrible tendency to slack off on the job, but after a year and a half of working at his store, he has perfected his craft.
Employment: Cashier at Franks Clothes Shack, a middle class unisex clothing store.

Chris yawned in bored, tired agony. It was 8:00 AM, and he was rudely awakened again by his alarm clock. It was the summer, and he was stuck working. Why couldn't his parents keep paying for him? It bothered Chris, but he soldiered on. He was saving up for a new TV, as his other one showed two colors: gray and static.

He opened the gate outside the store, and stepped inside miserably, taking his place at the register and turning on the lights.

Half an hour later, a couple walked in with a fresh purchase, and Chris cited his daily mantra:

"Welcome to Frank's Clothes Shack, where not only are the clothes hot, but so are you."

Jonathan arrived 14 minutes and 43 seconds late for work. One of his cashiers and two customers were already inside, making a transaction regarding the clothing items that he aimed to vend at the store.

He looked up at the clock. It was a minute faster than his watch. He decided that he would ask one of his employeees to sort the problem out so that he could keep time accurately.

He said "good morning" to the employee and the customer, before heading into the back office where he ussually worked. It was not often that he was forced to man the tills. He only ever did it if one of the staff members was off work for any reason. E.g. illness or holiday or family occasion like a funeral or a wedding etc. In the back office he made himself a cup of decaffeinated coffee and began working.
