... To be honest, I'm a bit hesitant about posting this roleplay. I'm afraid that no one's going to take it seriously. This is an idea I thought up ages ago, and I desperately want to revive it. Please, I beg of you, join only if you're going to take it seriously. I mean, have fun, but don't get the idea that this is a simple roleplay. No. This took about a month or two to flesh out (With help from a few friends that have, sadly, drifted out of my life.) It's rather complex, and I'm sure I still need to iron out a few kinks here and there. If you have a suggestion, please PM me.

Click here for all information regarding Crimes Of Passion.

Yes, it's so extensive it has to be host on a cheap website. Read everything through and, when you're ready, if you're ever ready, PM me your character profiles. Do not, for the love of all things wonderful, post them in this thread. If you do, your application will be completely and utterly ignored. Also, as it says on the site, if you include a sample with your application, your chances of being approved skyrocket... or plummet, depending on its quality.

So that no one has to visit the site to see which characters are taken, here's a list:

Franziska von Karma (Played by Lovely Crime)
Trucy Wright (Played by NaruhodouMinuki)

Alicks Priestley (Original) (Played by Platyphyllum)
Sandra Castro (Original) (Played by Lida_Rose)

Thank you for taking the time to read this and look at the website, if you did.

Mind if I ask what you definition of literate is? Cause my grammar and spelling are crap, but I get away with is cause I have imagination >.>

Um, also, this will be RPed here, right? And the premise of the game is that crimes happen and that we solve them? The website break down is kind confusing. It doesn't really explain it clearly. It just explains the setting. Not really the storyline. Cause see, Are we going to be investigating the minor crimes? OR the major crime? Cause I'd have to have 2 totally different characters for that.

Literate, to me, is typing up a descriptive post that, be it a three or thirteen paragraphs, moves the story along. I suppose that, at a minimum, four paragraphs will do. Of course, there's always leeway for that sort of thing. (It's why I don't really like to set a minimum.) As long as you try with your spelling and grammar, I don't think there will be much of a problem.

Yes, this roleplay will take place here. As for the storyline... let me try that again. (That was a copy-paste of my original idea, so I'm sure it'd be unclear. I'm sorry about that.) I'll let you know when I have something more descriptive up on the site itself, but for now, here's a general breakdown:

Many crimes are being committed in the New York City area. The government is so concerned that they are allowing lawyers and detectives up to the challenge to leave their districts and try to figure out why these odd "crimes of passion" are occurring. (It turns out that an underground organization, The Akuma, are responsible for taking the time to set up each and every murder to resemble a crime of passion after killing the victim, but they aren't even known about until later in the roleplay.) Mostly, this roleplay will take place during the "downtime" between trials and will include detective work (Whether it is performed by an actual detective or not doesn't matter, hahah), visits to the detention center, prepping witnesses, etc. If a trial seems necessary, however, it can be held. It's more about figuring out what the hell's going on and less about each individual case, so the characters would be investigating "the major crime" as you put it.

If that doesn't make sense, PM me, and I'll explain further.
