Wocky obediantly swallowed the rest, and shuddered, "Aww man... Why does he have to be all up in my grill?.." He complained in his own odd fashion.

"Thank you sooooo much pal!" Gumshoe said strangely eager to pay but only due to the great price otherwise he'd try probably try to confiscate one or two bowls of noodles for an explicit reason, so he could eat, but at this price he already felt like a thief, "Here ya go pal!" He said handing the cash over to the kind manager, he then sat down next to Maya and Apollo.

Apollo didn't feel hungry again, he was content just hanging around, work was slow, he had no defending requests, it made him sad, but at least he had a lot of free time on his hands.
Trucy had offered to teach him some tricks, but he lied and said that his work is never done, him being a lawyer, he was always busy....

Wocky sighed, Looks like I eat alone.... Fine... See if I care... , "Huh?..." Wocky looked over at Ema, Hey now.. She looks about as bent outa shape as I am... he thought, and descided to walk over to her, "Hey... Wussup?..." he asked pretending to not really care if she answered or not.

Trucy took her mother's hand anddragged her over to where Polly was standing. "We should see what Polly's up to, huh?" She said, trying to change the subject to something more cheerful. "Hey, who's this?" She asked Apolly, slightly confused. "A friend of yours..?" she pondered, wondering. Did Polly have any friends that she knew about...? Naw, wasn't possible. Polly didn't have any other friends! She smiled at her half-brother.

"What..?" She said, looking over at Wocky. 'FINALLY, SOMEONE IS TALKING TO ME.' She thought. Although, this boy didn't seem like he could hold an intellegant conversation of any kind. Hadn't she seen him somewhere before...? Maybe that case that took place right here, in people park....she was sure she saw him around somewhere, but she didn't care. She sighed and responded "Hello. Just here for some noodles, or do you know someone here..?" She doubted it, although she'd seen him talk to Apollo and Trucy.

"Thank you for letting me see my daddy again.....oh!" her attention turned her eyes to Maya's poket, and she saw a paper inside... "I thought I saw daddy stick his hand in your pocket!.....erm..." That sounded a little strange. "Was that in there before?" She asked.

Apollo felt nervus trying to talk to Trucy about fathers.

"That explains allot!" Gumshoe said, almost wetting himself at the sight of the prop appearing out of no where. She could tell he was embarrassed by the look on his now red face, he was sweating bullets but snapped himself out of it and said, "Ya really should give an officer if the law some warning pal, just because I specialize in homicide investigations doesn't mean I want an investigation on myself! Imagine the humiliation!" He said, then stated what he'd assume the headline would be if it had happened, " 'Top notch homicide investigator has autopsy performed... on himself!' Now that's what I call 'embarrassing' pal!" He said, wondering to himself it he'd over exaggerated the whole 'top notch' part.

Hmm...I guess I better get a bowl as well..., Klavier thought. He then walked up to Mr. Eldoon's stand and ordered a bowl. Then he sat down at the closest table and began to eat the noodles.

"Ach!! Salty! ...Wasn't expecting that... Oh well." He shrugged and continued to eat them, making strange faces with each bite.

Gumshoe frowned and looked down at the sound of the word "Wife" and then gloomily and shyly said, "Wife huh, I wish I were that lucky," He said scuffled the back of neck looking like a sad puppy out in the rain, "Huh, but who would want to marry this washed up mess." He asked, "I mean I'm pretty much a failure in my line of work, always being out-staged by yer dad, life's tough pal!" He said changing his friendly smile into a heart braking frown.

((yeah, i always thought that the age difference between :maggy: and :eh?: was a little...far stretched. But who am i to judge? You should stop at nothing to find true love and keep it, no matter the age difference.... my grandparents were 10 years apart....and they loved each other soooooo much! I actually LOVE the gumshoe x maggey pairing..a LOT!))

i thought after the case "Recipe for turnabout" Maggey said something along the lines of "I love weenies! And then at the end it showed the eaten boxed lunch, insinuating that they were together...?

Maybe she should start a dating service!!! Oh, so busy, so little time!! She pulled a notebook and pen out of her hat and started writing something....

So to him the pressure was still there, "And I'm fine!!! Really...." Apollo lied.
He paused catching his breath, "WHAAAT DID YOU SAY TRUCY???!!!" he grabbed the notepad away from her and read it, "Trucy.... Please... Rethink this?... It's one of your worst plans yet..." truct Trucey to come up with this kind of scheme.... I'm a little curius who I'd be pared with.... But I'm not gonna ask... Apollo gave it back quickly to hide his curiosity.

Wocky growled, "Awwww MAN!! Why isn't nobody talking at me no more?" he kicked the dirt, "Fine see if I care... Throw me in the dog house!!" he blew being ignored out of proportion... As always.

Apollo grimaced, "Grouchy? Uptight?? What is tha tsupposed to mean? Trucy where do you get off--?" he carried on denying it, but in truth he was kind of admitting he was a bit gouchy here and there... JUST NOT ALL THE TIME!! He was sure of it!
"Okay Trucy.. i'll humor you... Who do you think is compatable? W-with me... I mean..." he glanced to the side, being a little embarrased with his curiosity.
He remembered back in highschool when the girls used to do these kinds of things...

"Not for the money!?" He said still on that one track mind of his, "Well if this is for free I'm gunna have to confiscate those plans pal, ya don't have the legal documentation for it!" He said trying to find an excuse to make some money with some help from the young magician.
