Thirty miles off the coast of Florida, a manmade island was put up to house the most brutal of
America’s criminals.
It was a state of the art prison with a system that made all of the prisoners like ghouls’ they were always tired. They never ate much, and never fought back when the guards attacked. That was until the shadows took back Somnus.
Before the shadows overtook the people of the island, there was peace.
It didn’t matter what happened outside of the walls of the prison. The constant supply of mist being pumped into the room every night was enough to calm any demons the prisoners had.
Or so they thought.
On a routine tour of the island, a group of teenagers are brought to the island as a scare tactic. They walk the long halls of the prison never hearing any voices, never hearing anything. Except for the low hum of the ventilation overhead pumping the mist into the rooms of the prisoners. And then; a flash. All was silent.
The power had gone out. The prison doors all automatically opened.
In any other prison this would have been a blood bath, but not in Somnus.
The tour guide was directed to lead the teenagers to the back of the prison. They would have to stay there for the night.

Appearance: Greasy, long, black hair. Tall and lanky. Has the most demented brown eyes, since they glow red when he's angry.
Mental Condition: Stable...For now. He'd be stable one minute, the next he'll be randomly punching someone out and calling them the devil or something like that. ^^ Psychotic.

Appearance: At six feet two, this teen has had his share of fighting, he has many cuts that hide just under his clothes. His messy brown hair is kept in a ponytail most of the time.
Mental Condition: Autistic, Has no friends and cannot make any. Has a habit of keeping things neat. ((Side note, He talks in his sleep))

Dom wakes up, the feeling of dread still has it's hold on the prison.
As he sits up he notices a couple of the other teens starting to rise as well.
"Dark..." He whispers to himself.
One of the guards jumps off of his chair, the coffee long cold splattered to the ground.
"What are you kids doing up?!"
Dom looks at his wrist-watch; A strange thing at the time seeing as how most every teen relied on a cell phone to tell them the time.
"It's 5:30 in the morning, I always wake up at this time"

"Because you just woke me up," he replied, casting the guard a dark, angry look. "It's 5:30 in the morning. And a prison isn't exactly the place for a good night sleep." Had he not taken his pills the previous night, he would have hit someone.

Appearances:Short brown hair, tall, pale skin. His eyes are grey. He has a well defined face. In public, his eyes are warm and inviting, and he's always smiling. Around his close friends, though, he changes. His eye turn cruel and calculating, and his smile makes him look like the type who'd kill a puppy.
Is quite thin and frail looking, but is a black belt.
Mental state and personality:A two faced bastard. Is nice and cute in public, but cruelly wicked when among others like him. He is facinated with death and blood.

"ALL AVAILABLE GUARDS TO THE RESEARCH DEPARTMENT ALL ROOMS WITHOUT GUARDS MUST BE LOCKED"
The guard turned the volume down on his radio, walking to the door.
"All you kids sit tight, I'll make sure the boogeyman doesn't get ya"
He walked outside the room and closed the door, keys could be heard jingling as the lock was turned.
"Did the doctor order this?" was the last thing the teenagers heard as the overweight man ran down the hall.
Dom looked at the rest of the teens, the women; still sleeping. a couple of the boys were too.
"Your parents drag you to this place?" Dom asked, pulling a pointed straw out of his pocket.
"They're just trying to scare us, I read about this prison. I was supposed to do a report on it but.. It wasn't that interesting. This place is all hype." He put the straw in his mouth and started chewing on it.

Mental Condition: Highly Unstable. Without the mist there would be nothing stopping him from going on a killing spree. He is clinically insane, and often hallucinates.
Bio: He ended up going to prison after a being involved in a car accident. The police found a bloody human Carcass in the back, and not all of the blood found on James was his. They discovered bones from 2 more victims, stripped of all flesh, buried in his garden. It was obvious that he had eaten the flesh.

the first thing the group noticed was that all of the doors were open.
every prison cell they walked past was empty, the only thing left in each room was a bed and a neatly folded blanket. No chairs, no toilet. Just a bed.
Guys do you remember where the guard said he was going?

Dom was reading a map he had "Borrowed" from a new officers locker.
"We're at the ass-end of the prison."
He felt into his back pocket grabbing the handle of the other thing he "Borrowed" from the locker.

Far off in the distance....
"Doctor Killjoy, where the prisoners??!"
A guard in black screamed at him, his gun pointed out the door.
The doctor smiled, "You mean my subjects?"
A guard without a uniform turned his head to him.
"Yeah whatever! where are they?"
Killjoy looked at the two guards in front of him.
The only two left in the prison.
"Why I released them, they learned their lessons."
"What!?"
The guard in black turned away from the door an pointed his gun pointed at Killjoy.
"Kill this motherfucker!"
"Not by your hands; Gentlemen"
The doctor ducked, just in time to avoid a sharpened bone that tore through the guard's chest. It was launched by a creature standing outside the door. It had fired at the back of the guard and met it's target, the bone tore right through the guard.
"Wha... WHAT THE FUCK!?"
The other guard fell to the floor, his knees gone numb from the sight of his friend's chest cavity being torn open by the monster.
The Doctor smiled.
"This my friend, is a Marksman, It uses the bones of it's victims as it's bullets.
The creature, (Resembling that of a man, but with no eyes, a huge growth on it's back, and a hollow opening in both of it's hands.) reached into a hole in it's back, pulling a bone out if it.
The guard closed his eyes.
"No!"
The creature shoved the bone into a hole in it's inner arm.
"No!"
It pointed it's hand...
"NO!"

"I'm Matt...And you'd be...a prisoner, right?" Matt responded. It was actually kind of comforting to have him around. Not because he trusted him, but because at least this guy wasn't hiding from them.

The Marksman obeyed, it walked out the door, into a crowd of thousands of other creatures, Some looking like they were covered in acid, others looking like gray babies were crawling all over them...
And one in particular, Was a giant. It was 8 feet tall and weighed over 500 pounds, and all of it muscle.
