But before you sign the moving papers, there is only one thing you should know, there is a secret here, and town follks wont spill the beans easily, people have been murdered and dissappeared, no one will touch the sea in winter, and there is a extremely low birth ratio, but this is just the beginning.

A nice summer breeze striked Josh as he unpacked his stuff "Well I didn`t made it in NY like Mr. Sinatra, but this is also a nice place" The house was big and made enterely by wood "They dont make them like this anymore" Josh said happily, he was a city man, but he already loved his new home, suddenly the phone rang, he answered it "Hello?" A old manly voice replied "Hello sir, My name is Ringo Maxwell and I`m the town`s doctor and mayor, and I wanted to welcome you personally, we always love to meet new friends" Josh smiled "Thanks Mr. Maxwell, I think I love the place already!" the older man laughed "Call me Ringo, no need of formalities, well, if you are free I would like to invite you a drink at Julian`s bar, it`s just downtown, its impossible to miss" Josh chuckled "Very well Ringo, I`ll see you there, take care" They both Hung the phone.
Maxwell was seated in his office "A new one... I just hope he doesn`t stick his nose into something he shouldn`t..." He took out his coat and left the office, turning off the lights and locking the door...

Personality: Chii is bright, energetic, and a bit of a trickster. She is outgoing, clumsy [only sometimes] and oblivious. She makes even the most tense moments seem fun. She is never seen upset or very mad [but it happens sometimes], and always wears a smile.

Reason to be in town: Moved after her mother was arrested.

Special Talents: Chii is very good with detactive work, and forensic science.

Physical Description: Chii has short, brown hair, and blue eyes. She is usually seen in a black skirt, and a white top with a black collar, blue ribbon tied down the middle. She also wears white knee-high socks with black shoes. This was her school uniform, though she did not attend High school anymore. It had become a habit.

Background: Chii was raised with her mother a detective, her father a real estate agent. When she was twelve years old, however, her mother was arrested after Chii's father diappeared. She was adopted into her friend's family and raised up until she moved out and got a place of her own. She currently is on break from college.

Personality: very smart, very curious, very serious and very silent
Background: She is a half-Japanese, half-Filipina girl. Her parents were both scientists, and went to the US because of their jobs. After finishing college at 19, she found an article about disappearances in Highcoast, her parents included. So she found a job as a detective in Highcoast to learn more about the Highcoast secret.
Reason to be in town: To find out what happened to her parents
Special talents: she has invented numerous things, such as heat sensors in her glasses, a stun laser pen and a hidden camera in her pendant.

Occupation - unknown. Always has cash but no one knows anything about a job.
Physical description - Long dark hair with a rose resting on the left side, A red t-shirt,black jeans and a necklace made of sea shells.
Personality - incredibly quiet. Talks only when neccessary. Observant, myserious and slightly clumsy and dippy.Slightly evil.

Occupation: Professor
Reason to be in town: Works at local school.
Special talents: He is a fencer. And by fencer, I mean he can fight with a rapier, not a person who puts up fences. He can do that but that's just part of his likes of carpentry.
Background: After collage he became the assistant Professor of Anthropology at his hometown university. Eventually he quit and went on a tour studying urban myths, local legends, and the like and watched how they effected the population of the area. He stayed he because he had a weird feeling this would be his big case.
