Inspired from Serenity's version, I decided to try my own version of it...

~Story~

"Let's see...lighting looks about right, and this should be positioned about here I think. Can't have them noticing and....Oh crap! It's running already! I'll just start over-actually, nevermind. I'll just edit this later.

This is Chloe Moore in the town of Crow Creek. Today, I'll be starting a test for a current unset period of time. The subjects will be arriving in about half an hour from now to play the simple, popular game of Truth or Dare. Officially, school officials banned the game after two players had a duel involving actual swords they made in shop class two years back but students still play overtly. Whenever someone wants to start a game they leave a blank piece of paper with an appointed date taped to 'Daredevil's tree' over here on the back lot of the school . The first six names are the players for the round. I left this paper here three days ago and there are now six names here including myself, me being the field observer, all signed willingly. However, only I will be aware that this Game is a cover for the actual study. My tools will be the camera currently filming this, a portable tape recorder, and my cell phone camera. In the event of an unforeseen element, tools may be added and noted accordingly.

This experiment will be watching for the subject's reactions, the effects of peer pressure, and how a simple 'Game' seems to make people act in ways they usually wouldn't, if only to escape the public humiliation of calling '*Chicken'. A follow up study may be done on the aftermath."

*See teen terminology packet for the meaning of 'Chicken'.

"This will be an uncontrolled experiment with no interference in the ratio of dares versus truth but for this round I'm expecting dares to outweigh the amount of subjects calling truth. Though this experimenter hasn't played the Game, from other accounts it seems to be the expected norm to pick dare. Inferences on this will be drawn once we start...

~Rules~

-No godmodding.
-Only six Players in the actual Game.
-When issuing Dares, they MUST be within some reason. Obviously the physically impossible or incredably criminal should be avoided.

Because her parents moved around a lot for their studies on animals, Chloe was home schooled for the most part until the following year. Like her parents she's picked up the habit of over analyzing and over thinking things but unlike her parents she tends to focus her studies on people. She also has the nasty habit of just saying one more word than she should before thinking...

Brief Description: Roy is a tall, muscular guy in a letterman's jacket (gotten from Marching Band) who is somewhat condesending to people playing the stupid child's game of Truth or Dare. Of course, that doesn't mean he doesn't get kicks out of watching. Though he is a bit of a sadist when it comes to watching people humiliate themselves on purpose, he cares about his friends and always acts like a bodyguard when they "get caught up in this child's game".

First off, really sorry for ignoring the thread for so long. I thought it died a premature death and I haven't checked out the RP section in a long time.

Second, added approved profiles to the opening post (that is, if there's still interest in this).

@angel_of_nature: No offense is intended but you might want to revise Angelina being in college (seventeen for a second year college student sounds pretty young to me too), unless there's a reason a college student would go all the way to a high school just for a game of truth or dare.

But what do I do now? None of the subjects were there yet and she was beginning to feel silly just standing there with nothing to film and nothing to say. This part was definitely going to the cutting board. That would save the judges the boredom of nothingness at least.

She let out a low yawn and sat down on the grass. All she had to do was wait, there would be plenty to do later...

Kyle continued walking throught the schoolyard. He checked his watch and confirmed that he was on time. He walked over towards Chloe, and said "I'm here." He leaned against the tree, and stuffed his hands in his pockets, noting that he would have to wait a few minutes for everyone else to arrive.

Roy let out a sigh as he approached the tree. He couldn't believe that these idiots were going to throw themselves and their dignity away just to win a stupid game. No matter what this was going to be hilarious.

As he noticed the one person at the tree and the two others who were approaching with him he went up to the one who was staring at a camera. She flicked it off and sat down on the grass "So I guess you're the organizer of this silly game for today?" He approached with a smile, hands in pockets.

((@Robin Goodfellow: Alright. I can't think of any other excuses, unless I'm studying high school behavior, but I doubt I'll be involved with any course that would do that. And about the being too young in college thing, here in the Philippines, it's normal to be 17 in second year.))

Angel sighed. She knew that she was a tad too old for Truth or Dare, yet she wanted to experience at least a game of her childhood again, just to relive her girlhood. She walked to the field and saw five people sitting down by the tree. She sat down as well and slung her messenger bag to her left side. She then observed the people gathered by the shade of Daredevil's Tree, and presumed that the rather serious girl across from her must be the organizer. "You're the one who planned this game, am I correct? I'm Angelina Aquino, more commonly known as Angel," she said, adjusting her glasses and stretching her arm out to shake hands.

Kyle raised his hand in a sort of half wave, realizing that people were beggining to introduce themselves. He continued to lean against the tree, not wanting to leave his position for two reasons. One, he would probably look clumsy whilst removing himself from his pose and placing himself back. And two, he was pretty comfortable where he was for the time being.

"Kyaaa! Oh No, I'm late!" She hadn't noticed the large clock that had been in front of her. She had been shopping for something new to wear, but it was far too late now. She did happen to buy some snacks, though, and brought those with her as she ran down the street. After a few minutes, she had run into about three people, apologized to them, and kept on running. "What if they start without me~?!"

Once she made it to the schoolyard, she slowed down some, trying to not look like an idiot. She smiled and waved as she began approaching a small group of people. She figured they were the group she was to meet with, so she scurring over to Roy and held out her hand. "I'm Chii~" As she stated her name, her other hand went out to Chloe, as she smiled. "I brought snacks too!"

Chloe absently pulled at a strand of hair. Maybe she should for the camera's sake. Opps, too late for that now.

"Nothing dangerous or criminally stupid for dares. Turn order will be decided by numbers you draw from here-" she reached into her bag for a hat with six pieces of paper, "-and match ups just go one or six, two with five, and three and four. Any questions?"

Angel didn't prefer junk food, so she took out a maple-and-oats bar from her bag and took out a number. She glanced at the number and said in beween bites, "Four. Good enough, since *munch* it is one of my favorite *crunch* numbers. Then we'll be *bite* partners, Kyle, was it?" She then took out her Rubiks cube and started jumbling it while waiting for Chloe and Konan to pick their numbers. She thought to herself, "Well, I would rather actually have Chloe as a partner since I doubt she would give anyhing crazy, but at least this Kyle fellow seems even a bit more decent than the rest."

[ You guys...What I just noticed is two men and five women. One man is a player and one is bystander. What I'd recommend is a force of people to change gender. If this was to be a study, then there would be three male and three female. It's not going to be very interesting with the whole game run by women. Just a suggestion.... ]

((To be fair with the idea of 'study', Chloe is actually a crappy researcher and has more than a few things would never get past TCPS in this set up (well, if she WERE applying in psychology) but I do agree, it would be nice to have at least one more male character in the game. I just don't agree with forcing someone to change their character, so if no one volunteers I might change Chloe into a guy to balance things out though I'd prefer not to.))

One by one, people took a number and Chloe's anticipation built.

Chii drew number '2' and grinned. "Mn...Cool..So, how do we do this again?"

"Just standard procedure," Chloe said. "We start with '1'-Mauve I mean-daring '6', and the numbers go up till everyone goes."

Chloe turned her attention back to the numbers being drawn. Angel was four, that was with Kyle, Konan was five, that was Chii, and that left-who wasn't drawing right now?

Oh right, that'd be me.

She palmed '6'. She tossed the hat back into her bag, casting a surreptitious look to where she had hidden the camera. "That's everyone...."

Roy looked at Mauve with an inquisitive glare. "You're going to make Chloe eat a plastic wrapper for a dare? A little..." He thought for a moment, "Bad for the digestive system wouldn't you think? At least that's my take on it..." Roy looked over at Chloe, his look divided between sympathy and the fact that it was technically her fault for getting herself into this. But, in the end, it was still technically her call. That being said, he could tell Mauve was going to be trouble.

Angel spoke up in Chloe's defense, although this was truth or dare, so it ma not have much effect. "Plastic, when melted is cancerous, and the hydrochloric acid in our stomachs can melt this plastic wrapper, and it may also choke a person, so in daring Chloe to eat this plastic wrapper, you are risking her life." That was the best scientific explanation she could present at the moment, so Angel could only hope that it would work.
