Okay, Rules. I only have one: Don't be a jerk. Wedding crashing, brawls, and generally making this wedding turn into something like the prom from Carrie are a big no-no. I don't need bad things happening thank you very much. Now that that is over...

Elias was nervous. He had been through plenty of nerve-racking situations.

He'd once fallen 120 feet whilst grappling a skeleton, only to land on his head and have a concussion while his friends went upstairs and left him for dead until he came to.

He'd once had to steal of dumptruck of salt in order to destroy an evil creature that lived in the basement of an old house.

He'd once had to climb out of a pungie pit while being shot at by two goblins with crossbows.

This was worse.

Elias looked around the basement room his half of the wedding party was hanging out in before the wedding started. "I'm so nervous."

Kitsunaii stared into the mirror, looking deep into her own violet eyes. The female was in sort of a daze; she was to attend a wedding! She, someone who was never the center of attention if she could help it, would be at a place with large amounts of people and free food and cake and Arceus KNOWS what else. Blinking and shaking her head, she realized that her hair looked too.. casual. It just hung there, down just a tad past her waistline. The black looked stunning against the deep purple of her dress, but to wear your hair down to such an event? Unthinkable, right?
With a sigh, she tugged it up into a messy bun close to the base of her neck, securing it with a red ribbon. The shade was the same as the rose she wore on the left of her breast. Brushing off any "fuzzies" that had found their way onto her silky clothing, the female tugged the neckline just a tad lower and twisted a fallen lock of hair around her index finger. She had to admit it; she was anxious. Luckily, this wasn't HER wedding, so perhaps she could lay low?
Satisfied with her appearance, she made her way to the maroon car parked outside, and sooner than she expected, Kitsunaii was at the banquet hall.

The alarm of the clock sounded for about 7th time in the day. J.D. open his eyes slightly, he hate to wake up a Saturday morning unless he has something important to do. He takes the clock to see that the time was...3 O' CLOCK!!

-Damn it! The wedding!- he shouts as he runs like a bullet to the bathroom to take a "wake-up shower" and get his clothes ready to the wedding. Days like this weren't so common in his life but... it was a friend, so he was happy for him. It took 30 minutes to dress and be clean for the party.

-Now... the gift- he said looking his room and checking the gavel. He was pretty sure the gift was around here.

"He's trouble, Apolla."

Apolla glared at her mother and tried to keep her fury from rising. "He is not! And even if he was, I don't care! I love him, why can't you accept that!?"

Apolla's mother shook her head and stood in front of her daughter, their eyes locked on one another's. "Don't say I didn't warn you. You don't know what you're getting into."

Trying to protest, Apolla's mother spoke further, her volume increasing. "You are being disowned. I want nothing of mine to him. Good luck."

"No... no... Mom, come back... MOOOOM!"

"MOOOOM!"

Apolla woke with a start, frantically glancing around the room. She sighed and glanced at the clock. 4:22 A.M. This was the 3rd time that night she woke. Apolla picked up her phone from the sidetable and contemplated on calling Elias.

No, no... There's no need to call him, he'll just worry about me... And I can't have him worry...

Putting the phone back on the stand, Apolla laid back down and stared at the ceiling, thinking of Elias, and how happy they would be, slowly drifting into the welcoming darkness...

"I can't believe I'm doing this."

Apolla stared at herself in the mirror, staring at the reflection of her dress on a hanger, ready to take to the chapel. She turned around and picked up the dress, and walked outside, where it was raining lightly. She had an appointment with a hairstylst and manicurist, and not to mention meeting with the bridesmaids to get her ready. It's going to be a long day, Apolla thought as she backed out the driveway, making her way to the pre-party.

-There it is...- he smiled taking the big portrait of Elias and Apolla from the dresser and covering it with a gift paper. He just wish they didn't expect this gift from him, but that wasn't important for him right now. He walked to the mirror to take a final look.

-Not bad at all- He sighed taking his guitar and the car keys from the table to leave his apartment and drive to the pre-party place.

Elias looked down at his watch. "D--n it! Where is everyone?" He got up out of the chair and paced for a few minutes. Then he sat back down out of sheer nervousness. Then he got back up and walked over to a small minifridge he stashed down here. He grabbed an Arizona Iced Tea out of the thing and started chugging down. Those things knew how to settle his nerves.

Apolla was about halfway to the banquet hall when her thoughts got the best of her. She ran through all the possibilities in her head. Elias leaving her at the altar, her mother disapproving, no one showing up, her makeup artist fresh out of cosmetology school; anything and everything that could go wrong. Apolla pulled over to the side of the road, and with hands shaking, she fidgeted in her purse for her phone and dialed Elias' number.

Elias finished chugging down the liquid and put it down next to his chair. It didn't help. His palms were covered in sweat and he felt like his tie was choking him. Suddenly a song came from his jacket pocket.

At the sound of Elias' voice, Apolla instantly remembered how much she wanted to be with him at that moment, and she stammered, trying to get her thoughts into words.

"E... Elias, it's me... I just wanted to call... to hear you talk, I'm sorry if I'm interrupting anything... I-..."

Apolla stopped talking and watched out her driver's side window, as the rain began to pour heavier.

Elias stared out the small window he could see from where he was standing. The rain poured down outside. "Good thing we aren't having an outdoor wedding." He joked. "Aren't you excited about today?" he said trying to cover his own nervousness.

"Don't worry honey." He said with a smile, "We've only got a few more hours, and then we'll see each other." He knocked on wood. Best not to jinx things like this. His cousin's wedding had been postponed due to car trouble, and that wasn't happening at his wedding, not even if the Emperor himself demanded it. No angry machine spirits were going to ruin his wedding. "God I have got to stop being such a nerd." He muttered to himself.

Apolla flinched as the rain poured heavier, now making a loud noise as it rained on her car. "I know, but it seems like so long away. I haven't heard from my bridesmaids today, I have my appointments to get to, and the banquet, and the wedding, and-..."

Apolla shook her head, the overwhelmingness coming back.

Apolla hung up her phone and took a deep breath, turning the car back on. She turned on the headlights and windshield wipers before moving back on the road to make her way to the banquet hall. She hoped her bridesmaids would be there when she arrived.

Kitsunaii yawned; she had gotten up pretty early to get ready, after all. Having always been able to grow her nails out very long, she had had no need for a manicure, and she didn't trust other people to touch her hair.
She got out of the car and went into the building, her short heels clicking on the pavement as she walked. Once inside, she removed her jacket and hung it on the hook next to the main door, shook herself off a bit to remove the bit of water from the drizzle of rain, and walked down to the basement. There, she spotted Elias, talking on the phone. She grinned and sped up a bit, as she always did when she saw someone she knew.
"Hi!" she said in a louder voice than usual. The female realized that she had spoken loudly and coughed to make it seem like an accident.

Apolla parked in the parking lot to see people already there. A wave of relief rushed over her as she saw someone running towards her to keep her dry.

"Oh, ilygodot, thank you! Hey Mom, let's talk inside, I can feel my hair frizzing!"

Apolla glanced around the parking lot before walking inside to see whose cars were present. She concluded that kitsunaii, ilygodot, her mother, and of course, Elias, were there. Her thoughts again roamed to Elias as she walked inside.

"WAIT" a voice shouted. It was Kenny 57. He wasn't tired at all despite the fact that he hadn't slept a wink last night because he was too exited about the wedding. After an hour of driving because of the heavy rain and all the cars in the way, J.D. arrived to the banquet hall he had the present in his hands and his guitar in his shoulder. He walked as fast as he can to the entrance and get a little soaked in the way.

Lida woke up and stretched, looking out her window as she did. Wow. I can't even see anything! I hope I don't have to go anywhere today... She looked down at her electronic planner that she kept on the bedside table.
"Is there anywhere I have to go today?" she asked.
"*beep* Eliasbloodmoon and ApollaJustice are getting married today. *beep*" Oh, that's right. Hm...Strange. I don't recall receiving an invite... She pondered whether or not to go, then shook her head. They're family. I'm sure nobody will have a problem with me showing up, invitation or not. She changed into a simple black dress, pulled out her umbrella, and walked over to the church.

Yaragorm overslept that night and awoke to find that his son and daughter had already left for the wedding planned today.

"Oh well, they're big enough, they'll be fine." he assured himself.

He then proceeded to get dressed and walked to the nearby church...

Apolla hugged Kenny 57, then glanced around the room. All her thoughts led back to Elias, and she wanted to see him more than anything. She wondered if she should risk a superstition to see him. And she would.

"Say, does anyone happen to know where Elias is?" Apolla asked the room innocently, as if she had no intentions.

Lida stumbled into the church, panting, frazzled, and covered with rashes and mud.
"You won't believe what happened," she said between gasps for air to nobody in particular. "I was just walking here, minding my own business, when a truck skid off the side of the road right towards me. I dove out of the way, only to land right into poison ivy! Oi. So, if you'll excuse me, I'll be in the bathroom, putting ointment on my wounds and rashes. My umbrella's probably in the middle of the road somewhere..." She took a deep breath and briskly walked toward the bathroom.

Kitsunaii was glad that other people were arriving now; it felt strange being the first guest. She wondered where the bride was, and wandered off to go look for her. She felt inadequate for her short reply, but felt obligated to post before she was forgotten altogether.

Kenny franticly searched for the place to put the gifts at. He had a special gift and wanted to see the look on Appolla and Elias when they open it. Finaly he gave up and went back to where Appolla was suppossed to be but found that she had gone away. He found a note that read
"I have gone looking for Elias. I know that breaks that silly rule but I have to see him.
Love,
Appolla"
Kenny knew where Elias was and went over there. Kenny asked to Elias "Hey do you mind if I film you takling about Appolla" as he took out his cellphone.

((I'll be a bridesmaid, please! I've already been one just weeks ago, so I know how to do it.))

Angel woke up hours ago because of this wedding. She wore a dress and had a bouquet of flowers in her hand, just like a bridesmaid should look. She just arrived at the church, and when she saw Elias, she said, not wanting to mess this up of all things, "Elias, am I late? Please don't tell me I'm late!"

((Oh, and Lida, don't wear black to a wedding. This isn't a funeral. JUst reminding.))

I've been away for far too long.
So long, in fact, that all of my signatures now exist behind a paywall.
Bummer.

Apolla wandered a dark hallway, apparently lost.

I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere... Great, only I would get lost here... Oh Elias, I need you...

A door appeared on the right side of the hallway at the end, and a light, followed by people chattering, flowed through Apolla's senses. "Yes, this must be it!"

Apolla opened the door and she saw J.D., kitsunaii, Kenny 57, and angel_of_nature chatting with Elias. Her face lit up as she closed the door behind her and stared at Elias in awe. "Elias!"
