Howl flicked the end of the 'e', producing a nice finish to his signature. This had been the 6th, and thankfully the last, letter he had to write. He scanned over the letter once more;

Congratulations,
You have been hand-selected to participate for a chance to win millions.
You, along with 5 other intelligent individuals such as yourself will be spending
a week in the Louvre Manor, competing for unbelievable riches. Be it stated,
this isn't a normal competition per se', it will be a battle of logic and wits.
Now, this isn't a game of 'pick teams' and 'vote off', nor is it a blind fury
of questions. You must be able to think logically, and sort your way through a
series of simple questions, and be able to think faster than your opponents.
Use, and manipulate the other 5 opponents to help you reach the answer first.
If you are able to 'survive' all 15 questions, then my millions are yours to claim.
My life is closing to an end, and I figure I might as well have fun giving
my fortune away. Hopefully you will decide to accept this invitation for a once
in a lifetime shot to become rich. If you so choose to accept, simply show up
on the front steps of the Louvre Manor on the 4th of December at 5:00 P.M.
on the nose. Don't be late. I despise nothing more than having to wait.
As stated before, you will be staying at the Louvre Manor for a week, so be
sure to pack the necessities, and anything else you might want to bring along.
Hope to see you at the Manor as the next heir of my millions.

He grinned, awaiting those six unfortunate souls to arrive for their chance to take his millions. He slipped the six linen-printed letters into the signature envelopes. He reached across his desk and picked up the candle that was lit. He then scrummaged through his desk and found the stamp. He blew out the candle, and dipped the stamp into the bowl of Blood-red wax, and stamped each envelope shut, leaving the print of a full moon with a jagged slash through it on each seal. He laughed, as he put on his jacket to go mail out the letters.
This was it, his last game of wits.

*BRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING*
Howl reached over and bopped the top of his alarm clock, silencing the demon. The polished hands guided to '7:40 A.M.', and the calendar bellowed 'December 4th'. The day had come. Today he would meet, and settle the 6 who had chosen his challenge within his manor. He rose out of his bed, grinning with anticipation for his 'competition' he had set. He would enjoy watching his guests brawl over his millions: lying, deceiving, and cheating their way past each other.
He slid on his usual attire: a full white tux that complemented his still snow white hair, Black polished shoes, neatly finished with a knot, and his signature eyepatch that he fastened to his left eye. He glided through the master bedrooms doors and out onto his indoor balcony that monitored over the main entrance. The sun danced through the monstrous glass windows, innocently beaming onto the tiled floor.
He went through his checklist once more: Tidied up the guests' rooms, pre-planned the food courses, remodeled the manor, and cleaned every speck of dust. He glanced over at the main doors where he would later meet the competitors.
Yep. This week was going to be the most thrilling week ever.

Something bad is going to happen. Every instinct told him to leave this. Some things were too good to be true. Someone was totally going to die. Of course, those are the kinda things that go through your mind when you work at a hospital in the ghetto. Maybe this will be like that movie version of Clue... Of course I'm not being blackmailed or anything...

In front of the Manor stood three persons: a woman, and two men. There was a lady walking towards the group, too.
One, two, three, four... And me, five, he thought. There's just one more left... Probably a woman, so there would be as much women as men.
He sighed. "Okay, let's go.", he said out loud. "This one's for Stephen, I guess." He then started walking towards the entrance to the Louvre Manor.
"Hey...", Nathan said, once he reached the two men and two women. The lady he had seen walking towards the Manor had already reached them, and Nathan didn't give her time to introduce. He paused, and realized that he had interrupted her. "Oh, I'm so sorry. Go on, please."

Some choose the most humanistic, some the funniest. Personally, I think Mr. Ingmune's criteria enforces the concept of "earning" money."

"Indeed I am. Welcome to the Louvre Manor!" He beamed, clasping his hands together. He looked to the watch on his wrist, 4:58 P.M. He counted heads among the crowd. "Hmm. Only 5. Hopefully the 6th recieved the letter in time." He frowned slightly, looking once more to his watch. "Well, I suppose I could extrement time for a short period. So let us deluve from the time." He gave a pleasent smile as he stepped out to the curved entrence of the manor to sight better details of his guests. "How is everyone fairing on this fine day?"

Nathan turned at the old man. At first, Mr. Ingmune's aspect intimidated him, mostly due to the eyepatch covering his left eye, but, somehow, the white tux beamed of goodness.
"I'm sure I speak for the whole group when I say we're all curious to know more about the nature of this 'game' you proposed", Arianna asked Mr. Ingmune.
Nathan was interested in that too, and so did the other guests, apparently, as he confirmed looking at them. They were all staring at Mr. Ingmune, although each in their own way. He could see a tidy-looking woman, a young man who was smoking a cigar, and a middle-aged man, maybe in his 60s, with a firm look. He realized he never asked them their names. Well, he thought, there would be time inside.

She looked around at the others and was about to say something when Arianna asked about the nature of the game. Elizabeth, too, was curious. She took another sweeping look at the group, noticing Nathan doing the same.
