"Welcome to the party!" reads the large plaque on the front door.

The music bursts through the speakers and reaches every corner of the building. The expansive rooms are lit by swirling spotlights. The bar in the corner is packed with people, and the lounge area is filled with newly-acquainted strangers engaged in passionate courting.

In the back room, one man is laid back on the couch, an unlit cigarette between his lips. He raises his black lighter and holds it to the tip, taking a long drag.

On his lap, he holds his trusty silver headphones. The man sits up wit a sigh, wrapping two fingers around his cigarette and flicking the ashes off the end. The music is blaring. He can barely hear.

"Welcome to the party," he mutters, stands, and walks out into the loud music, cigarette hanging.

Appearance: Around 5"6, with bobbed black hair which has red streaks in it and brown eyes. In the daytime, she wears a black short-sleeved suit, a red scarf and her prosecutor's badge, but by night, she wears a red cocktail dress and matching shoes. She never takes off her red gloves.
Personality: Although her career requires her to be outspoken and controversial, Portia is no social butterfly and comes to Club Euphoria mainly to enjoy a little time alone or occasionally to meet up with a friend or two. She is highly intelligent and a total pessimist. However, the Portia that many people don't see outside of the courtroom is gentle and witty.
Other: The reason she never removes her gloves is that she is missing two fingers on her left hand and wears them to conceal this. One of her favourite tests to find out a person's character is to show them her damaged hand and judge from their reaction what kind of person they are.

Appearance: 6'4", with short brown hair, green eyes. Here, he's wearing green coat over a white long sleeved shirt and jeans.
Personality: Paul's personality hardened after a few years of performing autopsies. However, in a place like Club Euphoria, he relaxes and almost changes into a completly different person.
Other: Paul comes to places like Club Euphoria to let loose his laid back personality that he lost when he became a M.E. It's simply a place for him to relax.

Other: she is a very good dancer. she've never drank alcohol before, afraid losing herself. and comes to Euphoria because she wants to escape from her own life and become another person.

Name: Jorge Díaz Salinas (JD Salinas)
Age: 25
Appearance: 5'9". Short black hair with deep brown eyes. Usually he wears his SWAT uniform for the work. In the club he wears jeans, and a white shirt with a black jacket.
Personality: Jorge is the usual cocky but good commander. He is arrogant, loudmouth, and that's the reason of the why he is always in trouble with downtown men. When he likes a girl is usually a one night love, but maybe in the Club thins can change for the SWAT.
Other: When acting as a civilian, he never take off his sunglasses.

Christopher walked out into the blaring music and straight towards the bar. He sat down, took a drag of his cigarette and flicked his ashes into the ashtray on the counter. Another day at the office, he thought dryly.

"Get me a scotch," he said, just loud enough to be heard over the music. He put one side of his headphones over his ear to drown out some of the loud music.

Alice strode into the club with a furrowed brow, marching straight to the dance floor. It had been another stressful day at work, and she needed to relax. Pausing between the dance floor and the bar, she wondered whether to dance the stress away or have a drink to relax first. Spotting a man with black hair at the bar, she decided on the alcohol and walked over to the bar, sliding into a seat and smoothing the worry off her face. "A Bacardi breezer, please," she said to the man behind the bar, glancing at the stranger to her left.

JD was in the bar, waiting for a drink. The place was "so far, so good". Loud, full of people who probably wasn't conscious. But hey, that was part of the show after all. JD smile after that thought and walked to one of the couchs where his company was. A girl, beautiful, and like all of the girls, it was probably another one night love.

Chris yawned slowly and tapped the counter to the rythm of the music. The barman put the shot in front of Chris, who gulped it immediately. He put it back onto the counter and blinked a few times. He was starting to feel better now.

"Jeez, I needed that," he said, a smile growing on his face as he took another quick drag from his cigarette. "Couple more and I'll be out there dancing, huh, Mick?" The barman grinned. "I hope so. It'd do you some good to get on the floor instead of on the stage. It's startin' to get to you." Chris shook his head. "Just get me another drink."

Tara walked in the club, and decided to take a seat in the lounge. she was tired, and really wanted to come here and enjoy herself. she sightend, and hoped no one came to talk with her. just in case, she prepared herself to a talk. Tara smiled. No one really knows how she is, and that made her feel good. She planned to go to the dance floor when she had rested enough. Tara closed her eyes, and felt happy for the first time that day.

Paul entered the club weary. A long day of work had taken effect on his body posture. Nevertheless he walked over toward the lounge to rest for a bit. Once his tired hands stopped cramping he would head over to the bar. He pondered what kind of drink he would order tonight.

What a day. What a godawful day. thought Portia, slipping into Euphoria the back way and heading straight for the bar. She didn't plan on dancing until she was at least three martinis down, by which time she was usually so drunk it didn't really matter what she did. Look at you with your stylish double life, Ms. Schwarz.... Verbally beating the crap out of defense attorneys by day and getting wasted and hooking up with strangers at night. Portia ordered her drink, straight gin martini as per usual and sipping it as daintily as she could, scanned the bar for someone, anyone to talk to.

This place is awesome, i have the luck of getting a day off today. I'm a commander anyway. He thought without paying attention of what the girl at his side was saying. He was just smiling and saying "yes", his eyes were in the bar where two hot girls was just arriving and another one just walked in the dancefloor. JD smirked planning the next move, there was so much variety today.

Personality: Extremely friendly, and easy going. Gets to know the new clubbers, and knows most everything about frequent customers. Never has a temper, and readily serves anyone with a good bar story. Pretty slick with serving styles; Professional service is an understatement towards him.

Other: He is always 30 mins. late, but makes up for it by staying late to clean up.

(I just noticed how similar Panda's and my character's last names are)

After a few minutes, Paul decided it was time to get up. His cramped hands had recovered, so a trip to the bar was in order. As he walked over towards the bar he noticed a lady with red streaks in her hair wearing a red dress. The interesting hair caught Paul's attention, and he sat down beside the aforementioned woman.

He ordered a burbon and wonderd what to say to this woman.

Xavier flashed his watch's light again. "10:29... I can break this record yet!" He squealed into the back parking lot, and literally jumped out of his car. "7.... 6...." He swiped his ID card, and flew through the back hallways, racing for the time clock. "2.... 1...." As he prepared to stop to grab his card... he realized the floor had just been waxed. He slid about a yard further than he planed too. His watch buzzed, '10:30'. He sighed, punched his card in, and opened the backdoor to the bar. "30 minutes.... every time!"

He was greeted with the usual blaring music, and the array of purple and green lights. He enjoyed coming to work; Meeting new peeps, and reacquainting with the old ones.... listening to ol' drunken tales.... and listening to the new mixes Christopher laid out every night. He threw a clean, blood red towel over his shoulder, and began to read off a written order that Mick had placed out. "Hm... Bourbon... wonder how they want it." He scanned for and empty table area with a filled seat. There were a couple, so he verbally asked. "Who had the Bourbon?"

When Tara arrived on the dance floor, she felt good. She wasn't tired anymore, and started dancing. She liked the music, and wasn't afraid of people talking to her, she just wanted one thing, dancing. Life's good she tought with a big smile on her face.

Alice took another drink before turning fully to face the stranger with a small, though fake, smile. "Aren't you the DJ?" she said, realising how she'd found him familiar. She'd sometimes seen him up on the turntable on previous nights out.

Portia turned to survey the guy who'd just sat next to her at the bar. You could always tell a lot about someone from the drink they ordered- people who ordered strong drinks were usually the people who had lives they wanted to forget about for just a little while. Bourbon, huh? Looks like this guy's no exception. "The bourbon's for him," she said in answer to the bartender's question. "But while you're here I'll take a pina colada." She tilted her head to one side and gave the recipient of the bourbon glass a smile. "Hey, I'm Portia. What's your name?"

Paul was glad she spoke first. He was not the best at starting conversations.

He answered "My name is Paul. I'm a medical examiner if you can believe it."

He thought about the girl a moment. A pina colada seemed to be more of a fun drink, but he was no judge on the correlation between drinks and their recipients. However, her carefree atitude seemed to support his theory.

Paul asked returning the smile "What do you do for a living?"

Tara looked at the other people at the bar. they at seemed busy. She grinned. At the moment, she just wanted attention from one person and that was the man at the bar. But she didn't care if he didn't show off, it would be her excuse for just sitting here while doing nothing. She played with her hair while laughing quietly, but hard enough to be heard. Tara liked it how everyone was busy with their own lifes.

Xavier nodded, searched around, and decided to serve a 4-year bourbon. He flipped a glass around in his hand, poured out a smooth serve of bourbon, and slid the glass next to the customer, and tossed a coaster that landed perfectly against the glass. 1 down, 2 to go. He then crushed about a glass-full of ice, and mixed in white rum. He added variable amounts of pineapple and coconut, and blended the mixture one more time. He pored it into a tall daiquiri glass, and finished it off with a small umbrella and a tall straw slightly coated with frozen coconut rum. He flipped a coaster onto the bar in front of the female orderee, and lightly place the tall pina collada on it. He looked to the lone woman that came up for a free-choice drink. He walked over and gave a slight smile, and flicked his hair out of his eyes. "How much 'party' do you want in it?"

"I'm a prosecutor." Portia replied to Paul's question, taking a sip of her pina colada. "It's driving my blood pressure through the roof, but hey, you have to do what you love. Which in my case happens to be eating defense attorneys for breakfast." she grinned. The cocktail was stronger than she expected, but that was just fine with her- it meant she'd have to buy fewer drinks. "You see some interesting people here." she commented. "And they all come for different reasons. What's yours, I wonder?" she mused.

Paul took a sip of his drink.

"Why am I here? I just come here to relax. I've seen a lot of bad stuff, and I'm not just talking about intestines. There are some pretty sick f-...people out there." Paul said, catching himself. He had a few codes and one of them was to not use foul language in front of ladies. Especially the pretty ones.

He continued. "I simply come here after work to unwind. I love my job, but I become a different person when I'm examining a body."

"Anyway, that's my story. What's yours?" Paul asked.

Name: Kazuo Kiriyama
Age: Unknown, but early twenties
Appearance: Black Suit and pants, black tie, sunglasses, short spiky hair (with gel). About 6', with medium build.

Personality: Stoic, avoids fights, usually, and unaffected by environment. Was "trained" to not show emotions, but deep inside he screams for freedom, screams suppressed by discipline.

Other: Yakuza. Never taken a life, but is prepared to. Carries no firearms, but instead two three pronged daggers (Sai's) concealed under his wrists, hidden by the suit. Proficient.

Internally slightly shaken by presence of SWAT officer, but he's got no record, so it's fine for now.
