Dofa hung the lights with ease. "Finally." he said. "And not a minute too soon." He looked at his watch, seeing that it was almost time for the party to begin. "Oh! But there is one last thing." he said. He turned on the radio and Christmas songs came on. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. He answered it to see his step sister. "Hello Alyssa." he said. "Merry Christmas." She gave him a dirty look. "And a bah, humbug to you, Turd sandwitch." she said. "No one ever comes to these parties." Dofa grinned. "Don't forget all of the friends you and I have made over the past year or so." Then, the doorbell rang again.

(That would be your cue people. Its not just for Christmas, its for all of the holidays. Just so you know.)

When the door opened, Ben greeted them wout a very loud "SURPRIZES! Happy New Year!" He hed up a huge basket of half-eatened cookies. "Sorry about the gift. My dogs got into it and chomped down on every single one of them."

Athena was right beside him, and smacked him upside the head. "First off, it's not New Years yet, it's Christmas. Second, you don't have a dog. And last," she smacked him again. "YOU were the one who chomped down on every single cookie in that basket! Those were for the party!"

Athena stared coldly at Alyssa through her crescent rim glasses. "No," she stated calmly. "Not a problem at all."

Sensing the hostility in the air, Ben decided to break the ice before things got bad. "A haha, so, Dofu."

"It's Dofa," Athena corrected.

"Right, right. Is anyone else coming to the party, cause I can whip up a new batch of cookies in just ten minutes if there are."

Sklarvv, having no life, decided to go inside random people's houses until she found a christmas party. This was difficult, of course, because it was only the fourth, but, hey. You never know.
She noticed a promising string of christmas lights hung in a window and trotted over, navy sh'boots making ridgy impressions in the snow. She tucked a hefty looking novel and a sketchpad under her arm as she rang the bell.
(I've never RP'd myself before, this'll be fun)
