Chris turned to face Stefan. "You don't understand, do you? No, of course not. If they found her, they'd surely find me. While my sister looks like me, our fingerprints obviously don't match." Dahlia's voice had taken the sweet turn again as it manipulated. "He still knew what it was, and if any officials had found out about it, I would have been found out. But... now is not the time for that... is it? You're lucky... I don't even know you. You won't have the displeasure of being... taught a lesson." The smirk was back.

If you want to, you can have a nice feel in my thoughts and find my memory, thus giving you the ability to manipulate me. Correct?" He asked, turning his head on the side. It was as if he was tempting Dahlia to control him.

Iris did her best to ignore Stefen's dark commentary and focus on the task at hand. Trying to reason with her dead sister through a classmate...this entire situation was so surreal, even for someone born in a village of spirit mediums. Wait...did she just hear what she thought she had? "Dahlia..." Iris attempted to pull her sister's attention back gently. "I gave you the necklace. There wasn't any other evidence that could be traced back to you," she pointed out. "So tell me...why would you care if I was convicted in your place? You would be free to go."

Phoenix watched the exchange with an expression of mild fear on his face. It was as if at any minute he might bolt into a run down the hall. This was, in fact, rather true. He did want nothing more than to make a mad dash away from this situation, or at the very least Dahlia specifically. This was a little strange for him since usually in these situations fear didn't really hit him until much later. Phoenix found himself tightly gripping the belt ribbon of Iris' robe. As long as he held onto it he couldn't run off without at least Iris' body stopping him from getting too far. If he hadn't been so afraid he might have laughed at the irony of him needing to cling to her for comfort.

Stefan took on a look of annoyance. "Hall, she was talking. Allow her to finish." His tone was harsh, and fairly loud for the nearby group. The blunter knife slipped into his hand, but he didn't attempt to raise it. He kept it in his hands - he'd expected Hawthorne to control Chris' movements entirely. If she didn't - or maybe if she did - he'd need a form of protection, or at least something to give him some time.

(OOC: Way to avoid the question, Dahlia. ) Iris almost found herself agreeing with Stefan, but...no, what was she thinking? She couldn't ask Chris to surrender himself so she could work things out with her sister! But what could she do about it? Bikini might be able to help, but she couldn't exactly leave. Poor Feenie was a wreck behind her, she could tell by the way he was clinging to her obi, and Stefan didn't seem to be the cooperative type... "Jade?" she called out, not taking her eyes from Dahlia's host. "Did you see Sister Bikini outside on your way here? Please go tell her we need her help and bring her here, okay?"

"Oh, but it's such fun... you know, this is more fun than I thought it would be... tee hee...Now, if I may...?" "No, you damn well may not! You think this is some sort of free ride? It freaking hurts when you control my speech!" "Isn't that... the point? Now, IF I MAY..." Chris finally let go of his head, and the voice continued. "I didn't care. I could've cared less what happened. However... you were still of good use to me, sister. You were the only one who would do what I tell you... of course, you were quite foolish to think that I would allow myself to do anything that might result in me being caught up with these foolish do-gooders... All I wanted was revenge on those fools for what they did to me..."

His voice shifted back to normal, but Chris still wasn't able to control what came out of his mouth. "Oh yes, I'm fine... You might want to check on the others..." Chris wanted to say something to Suzumi, but he knew that if Iris or Phoenix blabbed the truth right then, it's very possible that she and Dahlia's spirit could have a brawl right then and there - and his body would be right there in th middle of it all.

She couldn't stop it, of course, so she went back to working at talking her sister down. "What exactly did they do to you?" Iris snapped uncharacteristically. She knew Dahlia was dancing around her questions, so all she could do was try to corner her. "If someone has to pay for what happened to you, it should be me! You say I betrayed you, and you say the others caused your death, but I'm the one who ended up leading them to Dusky Bridge that day! Why don't you take your vengence out on me?"

"Sister...you did try to kill me that day. Why haven't you tried again since then? You've been tormenting Feen...Phoenix for two weeks, haven't you?" she corrected herself. Her voice began to shake as she continued. "I...the day I lost you...I felt like dying myself. It was like half of me was ripped away forever... But you knew the state I was in, didn't you? If you wanted me dead, why didn't you take advantage of that? You've gone after everyone but me..."

As oblivious as she sometimes seemed, Emi couldn't have failed to notice a vocal attempt to get her attention. This much Gregor knew with absolute certainty. If she had noticed his silent gaze when such wasn't his intention, the only appropriate name for her current behavior was avoidance. Her strictly linear path made her easy to see--one needed only look toward the source of the occasional "Hey!" as she bumped into another student to spot her again, even on the assumption that one lost sight of her at all--but hard to keep up with. People continued to mill about between him and her and it didn't help when one collision caused a man to drop his books, in turn causing traffic to tighten around him while he picked them up. Looking ahead of where Emi was walking, Gregor saw that she was rapidly approaching a door--one that she might very well use as a barrier against him if he didn't hurry. His eyes narrowed. I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that. Not now. Picking up the pace, he weaved his way through the crowd a few feet to her left. She was within ten feet of the door when he threw himself in front of it, blocking her path. "Emily...something's wrong. I want to help you, but I can't if you keep avoiding me like this. If you have some business to which you must attend at the moment I won't prevent you from doing so, but I’m not going to let you keep me in the dark. Not this time. The stakes are too high.”

Emi stared at him blankly. "I need a new sketchpad." She reached out and opened the door with him still between. She could have probably slipped past him, but instead she walked through him like she had everyone else. Emi's room was pretty much barren except for a table, a chair, an unused bed, and stacks upon stacks of identical sketchpads. She picked some off the top of a nearby stack and put them into her bag. The entire time her face remained expressionless. The longer Phoenix watched Iris talk the more he wanted to smile. Iris really wasn't her sister at all. He wanted to give her a reassuring hug or really any sort of physical contact, but if he moved he might make a run for it too. He didn't want to admit it, but he probably needed that reassuring hug more than he wanted to give it. He wanted all of this to just be over. If Dahlia were dead then...where were his thoughts running off to now? Dahlia was dead. She was just here on borrowed power and time. She was desperate...she wanted this to be done quickly too. But why? Why would she be in such a hurry? Was her borrowed power and time limited? Would she have to go back to hell when the timer ran out? Was she...was she afraid? Maybe he was wrong, maybe Dahlia and Iris were exactly alike. If their lives had been reversed then it could have been dear sweet Dahlia who loved him and Iris Hawthorne trying to find her solace. It was in sort of the heat of the moment. Phoenix let go of Iris' big cloth belt and fell to his knees next to Dahlia in Chris' body. Then he hugged her. It was quite possibly the stupidest, cheesiest gesture he'd ever made, but he just couldn't help himself. It could have been Dahlia that he loved and Iris that did these horrible things, but if Iris could find her courage then Dahlia could find her compassion. "I sorry." He apologized softly. So softly that Dahlia was probably the only one that could hear it. "I was angry on the bridge and I'm sorry." He was crying as he hugged her now.

Faced with such a blank expression and mundane answer, Gregor began to doubt himself as Emi nonchalantly pushed her way past his newly weakened blockade. Did I read too much into this? I did act rather hastily... He had almost convinced himself that there was nothing to worry about after all when the drawings resurfaced in his mind, strengthening his flagging suspicions. Torn between suspicion and his ardent desire to believe her, he decided to retreat into the crowd and observe from a distance. If he could watch her next move undetected, he might be able to determine for certain whether or not there was cause for alarm.

Stefan gave a noise that sounded like an elephant sneezing - in other words, he gave a loud snort. Give someone an ex-girlfriend, make sure they deserve a place as one of the world's greatest scum, and the male will end up hugging them and cryhing his eyes out, and the movie gets 4 and a half stars. Except this was reality, and Stefan went into a silent laughing fit, leaning against the wall to steady his knees.

"Dahlia...?" Suzumi blinked at the whole conversation of Iris and Dahlia. "This is...insane! There's no way Dahlia can...be.....JUST WHAT IS GOING ON?!" Suzumi yelled, clutching her head. It was strange, why was Chris behaving this way? Why was he taking the personality of Dahlia...and why was Iris accepting it? It was madness, simply put.

Dahlia in Chris' mind almost snapped at that. But she decided to answer Iris' question... by finally possessing Chris' arms and knocking Phoenix off to the side, a disgusted look on Chris' face, and answering Phoenix's own concern. "I don't care what you said, or if you meant it! You're not even my primary concern right now!" She then turned his body to Iris, and the voice continued. "Is that not the way you feel right now, dear* sister...? I'm still not alive, and I never will be. All thanks to these morons." She attempted to do her hair toss, but since Chris had relatively short hair, it looked more like he was scuffling his own hair. "Although, I find emotional pain to be sometimes... worse* than physical pain... it's something you can never let go, something you can't relieve... Yes, I saw what happened when I died... it didn't take me long to borrow this power and return to see what had happened... my body was carried off to that hospital, and disposed of. But I don't need it anymore... I'll be taking this body instead!"

Stefan had stopped his fits of laughter, and was now watching the exchange with a smirk on his lips. He threw his hand out, and the blunter knife flung out from his hand, landing on the floor with a dull thump. Stefan remained otherwise expressionless, but showed no form of surprise when he waited for the reaction.

Hugging Dahlia in Chris' body hadn't been a comfortable experiance, and being nearly thrown into a wall had knocked the wind out of him. For a minute he thought that bits of his skin had cracked and crumbled off like delicate porcelain. This, of course, hadn't happened at all. He didn't realize this until after her managed to lift his shaky hands and look at them. With his lips pressed in determination he balled his hands into fists and stood up. He looked tough and cool and like he was going to do something awesome, but then he started crying.

"Phoenix, this isn't the time to start crying..." Suzumi said, embarrased. She scooped up the knife that Stefan had dropped and held it steady, yet part of it was shaking. "D-Dahlia..." She gulped, holding a knife in her hand, in this way, scared the wits out of her, but she had to. "L-Let Chris go...take me instead! You know what me and him did to you...you're telling me you don't want revenge? You got it on him, but not me...leave Chris alone!" She burst out, half angry, half determined.

During everything that was going on, Doug was still seated on the floor, playing with his Rubix Cube and getting pissed off about the fact that he had no way of seeing Emily. He hoped she was ok, there was something about Greg that frightened him; it was almost as if the guy got obsessed easily. But then he noticed something was wrong with Stefan, he seemed very.... intrigued by the whole thing. Not only that but it almost seemed like he wanted to be posessed. Then he saw the butter knife fall to the floor. He stood up silently when everyone was staring at Dahlia/Chris and slowly stepped forward. He swung back his arm and with a fair amount of power hit Stefan on the back of the head with the Rubix cube. Stefan fell to the floor unconcious, but only slightly. Doug then twisted the cube one final time to complete it, before throwing it away and sitting down again.

Bikini was just suddenly there next to them like she were a magician appearing on stage. In truth she'd been fetched by Jade quite some time ago and until now had been content enough to watch and observe. The talk of another possessed body left her a little surprised. This would put a real big kink in her plan. Phoenix had nodded when Suzumi told him to stop crying, but the tears kept rolling down his cheeks regardless. He didn't really have any control over them other than frequently wiping them off with the sleeve of his sweater. Luckily he didn't need to blow his nose too badly just yet. Emi's hand shot outward and suddenly the entire room burst into flame. Her piles of sketchbooks caught fire much too easily and Emi stood in the middle of it with no intention of moving at first. Then she casually began to walk out the door and continue down the hall as if nothing had happened at all.
