He feels a little slighted at the moment, so he's not quite his usual self. He got pulled into the rescue mission only to find Dahlia was already dead, was told to find Phoenix but got stuck in traffic and arrived at the temple only to find that everyone else had beaten him to it, and other than soup and sleep at Hazakura his efforts seem to have gone unnoticed. Though he hasn't admitted it to himself yet, Emi has become the main light at the end of his tunnel. Now that he knows Doug is interested in her too, he is quite frustrated. Add to this his already slightly rocky relationship with Doug and the seemingly insincere thanks he was just given and we have spite potential. :will: It's very possible, of course, that he's reading the situation wrong--suspicion is one of his greatest weaknesses--but right now he feels like his "friends" are trying to take for themselves what little he's gained from the whole ordeal.

Heh, in some ways Doug feels similar. As well as feeling un-noticed, he's had the pain of Dahlia being an evil bitch, and now he's just seen that if history had been a little bit different she'd have killed him. XD As for the thanks, he really did mean it, but he's not good with relationships. It's easy to see how Greg mistook that for insincerity.

But yeah, they both like Emi. The only thing is, I'm not sure that Greg would be able to deal with how she is; I think that after a while he'd get in over his head and want to get out. XD

Are you kidding me? That was some seriously awesome development! I'd think that, given enough pressure and time to boil, Iris could grow a serious backbone and try to set things straight, even though you can tell it pains her to do so.

If one develops, the other will develop along with. (Speaking about Phoenix, then Iris.)

Oh I loved that post. I wanted to see Iris slap Nick the second he went all evil emo. I mean, he was being a real ass. I'm just glad it's over and I've got sensitive...weepy...well this isn't much better, actually. Man, I gotta get him some miracle grow or something for those balls...

She's currently puppeteering Emi. I wouldn't mind getting some ethereal thoughts going as far as Dahlia is concerned. Just keep in mind that she can actually command what Emi does, as opposed to her interaction with everyone else which will be dependent on them. Bikini is going to become the biggest threat once she makes it to the school because she knows how to send Dahlia back to hell. Until then she's probably really pissed off that Iris managed to break the puppet connection with Nick just by standing around and being all weepy. (The slap really helped, but why should she acknowledge such an infantile and desperate act as that?) Nick was the perfect vengeance puppet and if she gets a chance she might try and take him again. Honestly, it won't be too hard to do so long as Iris is out of the way.

That's all just my interpretation of it. You're free to have your own.

Suz is wherever you left her. Emi is at the cafeteria with Greg, Jade, Cat, and very soon Chris and Meghan. Phoenix and Iris might be wandering out there eventually as well, depending on where they decide to eat. I've lost track of Doug at the moment, but he might be there too. Some definite Dahlia hate goin on there too.

EDIT: Also, there's been a two week time jump from the events on the bridge to right now.'
