"Eh...? She heard you? She must have profound hearing... Less than 10 decibels, I reckon..." Jay said slowly, still thinking deeply. He could almost swear he heard the tune of quick and hyper up-and-down motions of pitches in the air, not stopping for a second. 'Ema...' Jay thought. He then heard a slow, kind-of-low-pitched melody and thought, 'That must be Lana...' Jeremy was getting similar vibes, listening to the different melodies in the air; the melodies and rhythms of the universe he had never really heard before. It was almost like he was dreaming, and one could almost say he was, if he wasn't looking around at the different objects around the house. ((They're still in their own world here... You may or may not even notice the strangeness of it.)) |

Lana shook her head fondly as she grabbed her coat off the rack. "I'm going to put a couple of hours in, alright, boys? You can come if you want." She looked toward the steps. "I'm off, Ema. Love you. See you later." ((I'll create ze topic.)) |

The melodies began to fade, and that's what snapped Jay and Jeremy out of their own worlds. The Skyes were leaving. "Going to work, eh? Let's see what kind of work she does!" Jay suggested. "Always the curious one, huh? Not to mention, I'm sure Ema's going along too! In fact, she's probably already jumped ou--" he heard the sound of feet hitting bushes. "Yep! There she goes! Let's get goin'!" And they walked out the door with Jay pulling out his hoverboard, turning it on, and motioning for Jeremy to hop on after him. They zoomed off... ((TO THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE! AWAAAAAAAAAAAAY! *pop*)) |

As rain began to pour down outside, a tan teenaged boy was walking on the street, seemingly homeless, looking for shelter. He happened upon a seemingly empty house, so what else would a seemingly homeless boy do, than try to get inside. He tried the door. Locked. He gazed up at the windows, and noticed one that was open, with a sheet hanging down from it. He was a good climber, so he warily looked about, then began to climb with ease. He hoisted himself inside, and with a small smile of satisfaction upon his face, he shut the window, so no more water could penetrate inside of the large house. He laid down on the room's bed, and slept, for he was tired of his life's journey. |

Lana walked into the house, and into her room, and into her office, sat the file down on her much smaller desk, and returned back to the living room. ((Map of downstairs Skye's House. Except all of the 'So and so's room' turns into empty bedrooms, except Lana's. Ema's room is upstairs, along with an unlimited supply of empty rooms  ))

Lana'd better be home. He didn't fight through that half an hour's worth of traffic for nothing. David sighed then grabbed his jacket and the case file, then set off toward the house. |

((Man, I've been looking for this! XD )) Crystal Starr walked with Mike Meekins up to the door. Mike always dressed for work clumsly tripped over his feet many times. Crystal would sigh and help him to his feet. Crystal was just recently promoted to Detective. As they reached the door, Crystal extended her hand to ring the door bell. |

Jay and Jeremy Slezak had followed Lana home, attempting to ignore the puzzled stares they got from riding a hoverboard. Nobody'd ever seen one before except in the movies, it seems, and just couldn't grasp the fact that they indeed existed in the 'real' world. They stopped the board on the front walkway of the house and got off of it. Jay turned it off and secured it to its straps on his back. "Hey! More visitors!" Jeremy commented, noticing others waiting at the door. "I see Crystal Starr, Mike Meekins, and David de Paor," he said aside to Jay. "Yep. Looks like Lana's as popular as ever," Jay replied as he finished copying down the house layout Lana had given them on the way home into his sketchbook. "Hey, guys! What's up?" he called out. |

Lana heard the banging, ringing of the doorbell, and talking commotion outside, so the peace was broken, as she rose from the couch and opened the door to find a host of characters, including and officer and four detectives. "Come in." she uttered. Good times, good times. |

"S-sorry to disturb you Ma'am!!" Mike shouted. "But we have urgent news!!" Mike pounded his fist into his hand and yelped. "Aw, Mike!!" Crystal checked his hand, "You're ok....." she sighed. She then smacked him upside the head, "You dumbass! Be careful!!" Crystal then focused her attention on Lana "Ms. Skye, the news we bring isn't urgent at all, it's actually just a request to investigate the crime scene." Crystal said, "Mike is just nervous because it's his first REAL crime he gets to investigate." Crystal smirked a little. |

Lana looked unfazed. "Crime scene? Sure. Go nuts...but standard procedure states that an upper level employee must be present to supervise during an officer's first investigation...and seeing as I'm the only uppr level around...I guess that's my job. Tell me when you're ready. You can fill me in on the way." She grabbed her coat and waited. |

Mike recognized one of the men. "That's David Power!" Mike pointed out. "Hm. Kind of handsome......" Crystal muttered to herself. |

Her grip tightened on the case file. It was personal, but so personal, that she wouldn't take the prosecution's bench herself, as to avoid speculation, but no one knew that. She made the coffee, and gave it to de Paor, and took a seat close, but not too close. |
