Prologue

In the 25th century, the humanity found themselves engulfed in a great war across the galaxy, a war that broke out without apparent reasons. Legionnaires of endosteel-clad armors, arriving in dropships of doom, cleansing planetary populaces system to system. This is a cruel war, no one would care about the noble code as a soldier, they only cared for victory, even if it is about outright destruction.

With the war ever increasing in scale, the war, the battlefield itself became a profitable market, a several interstellar mega-corporations, dominating the market of war-machine manufacturing. They never cared about what faction or sides they are fighting for, just to make sure their products can make the biggest profit. In the spite of this, these mega-corps, got an innovative idea, to revive gladiator fights from the history of ancient Terra. They organized all these competition and matches on a planet, known as Solaris V. (This might be similar to the BattleTech universe, but there are so differences.)

Sponsors

Most of these Mecha Gladiators are backed by a mega-corp sponsor, who providing them with their Mecha and weapons (Think, just like a racing team). These sponsors are:

Lockheed-Hyrapis Co.
A company with long history, with their roots as an aerodynamics manufacturer since the 20th century on Terra. As well as the first manufacturer who mass-produced space-faring vessels during the late 21st century. Though the company were renowned for their spacecraft manufacturing, Lockheed-Hyrapis started the Mecha manufacturing line 50 years ago, their Mecha, known as the "Alpha Gear" series, a bipedal, humanoid war-machine, that is outfitted with variable weapon mounts. Alpha Gears are versatile Mechas, that maybe outfitted with a wide range of weaponry, from assault cannons to beam bayonets.

Alonso Machinery Limited
Before the the great war broke out, Alonso Machinery Ltd, was an automobile manufacturer within the Capella system. Then they switched to produce ground armor and artillery since the early stages of the war. Using their technology in ground armor and weapon platforms, they produced a line of mecha known as the "Walking Panzer" , or W-Panzer. W-Panzer is a hybrid of both the firepower of a tank and the mobility of a Mecha. Usually mounted with high-caliber cannons, making W-Panzer a heavy-hitter in the field.

Mitsubishi-Bofors Heavy Industries (三菱ボフォース重工業)
Like Lockheed-Hyrapis, also an aerodynamics manufacturer since the 20th century on Terra, merged with an artillery manufacturer during the Second Great Depression in mid-21st century. Mitsubishi-Borfors specializes in light warships and fighters, thus their philosophy of Mechas are based on speed, and agility. Their Mechas, known as the "Pixie" are fast and agile, with pulse lasers and strike missile array as it's default loadout, making it ideal for hit-and-run tactics.

Freelance Gladiator
The ones on their own, building up their Mechas with army surplus and prove themselves in the gladiator field.
