((Look, the fact is that I've been gone for more than I'm proud to state, and I'm sorry. I'm making this thread to make up for it! Sign up for different roles, from the game COD 4 or OC's, and I'm going to be Captain Price and Soap. We start in the camp.))

He holds the gun out in a blurry stupor as the wails of gunshots and bombs are everywhere around them. The bullet in his side burns and bleeds out painfully. He raises the gun and aims towards his enemy's face. Click.

Soap awoke in the training camp bunk breathing heavily. It's gonna be a looong day of training, he thought wearily.

Not far down the hall, a woman in her mid-late 20's was sleeping. Her hair was dark brown and reached midway down her back. A fly buzzed noisily in the room. It landed on the wall, and then THUMP! With her eyes closed, the woman had thrown a knife at the wall, and it killed the fly. She sat up, fully awake, and pulled the knife out of the wall. She was still wearing the same shorts and T-shirt as the day before. She put on her leather boots and left for breakfast.
((Name: Lisa Hawkeye. Sorry, but I've never heard of the game... :P))

Lisa knew he was right; she rarely showed her respect to anyone. She got up, too. "I'm going to go practice for a while. See you after the debriefing." She left, heading for her room. Lisa would always warm up with her own exercise routine, which was rigorous, but not nearly as tough as military PT.

"Remember. All of the crew are hostile. If they shoot, you shoot. Follow me and listen to your orders." Price looked at the ship. "Never leave a squadmate. No one dies tonight," He said wistfully. Gaz gave Floyd a pat on the shoulder. "I won't let ya die, mate." Floyd smiled. "Let's show em how brothers fight."

"Bloody hell!" Pvt. Mitchells shouted. "Shit! Why now!?" Price yelled. The chopper jerked, and a bullet missed Soap's head by an inch. "Open fire!" Price shouted. "We gotta move, keep 'im in here and get a distance!" They went down the rope, hitting the floor, guns blazing.

The helicoptor flew off, and the team ran into the boat, only to find more gunfire. "We're outnumbered!" Soap shouted. Suddenly a grenade toppled to his feet. He grabbed it and tossed it back, but as it was midway, a bullet hit it and BOOM!

Soap panted, feeling breathless. Price pulled him up. "Get up soldier! We are leaving!" The squad ran on the catwalk, which lurched to the side abruptly. Soap almost tripped, but kept running, ducking steam pipes. "Get the chopper here, now!" Price yelled and the coptor opened at the edge of the boat. The men ran towards it under heavy fire. Soap lagged behind and the chopper started to fly away, with all of them on board. "JUMP FOR IT!" He did and slid off. He closed his eyes.

Price ran over and helped, being a big man. Soap panted and shot back at the crew as the chopper closed. "Thank you," he managed out. Floyd came over. "You alright, mate?" Soap sighed and glanced at Lisa and Captain Price. "Yeah. Fine." 12:52 PM, SAS Camp. "Congratulations, gents. The nuclear weapon was recovered by England two hours ago. We've got a mission tomorrow, so prep up." Price sighed. "Ms. Hawkeye. Come with me. Soap too."

Tennant looked out at the camp with an odd scanning stare, taking in all the contours of its appearance as he came in on a lorry. "Hard to believe I'm finally here, in SAS..." the 23-year-old private first class said to himself, stepping off the truck and walking into the camp, checking his equipment in a move of second nature.

He began to make his way to anyone with decorations of higher rank on their uniforms, to report for duty.

Lieutenant Gaz saw the man walk into the camp. He took a deep breath, knowing the new guys would never end. He walked up to him, putting out his hand. "You must be Pvt. Tennant. Welcome to the 22nd SAS. I'm Lieutenant Gaz, and I'll be supervising your training," he said dryly. "If you want to talk to the Captain, you'll have to wait. You might want to get acquainted with your squadmates. They're the only people you're gonna be seeing for a long time... The only people you're not going to be shooting, anyway." Gaz pointed to the bunker. "Right over there's where you'll be sleeping. Debreif in an hour."

Tennant nodded, taking the lieutenant's hand and shaking it briefly. "Understood, Lieutenant." he adjusted his side arm's holster again, feeling a bit nervous about all this. 'Have some nerve, Tennant!' he thought. 'You joined the SAS to serve Britain, and that's what you're going to do.' Resolving on this, he nodded sharply, walking to the bunker. "May as well acquaint myself with the place..."

Gaz nodded at him and walked off. Floyd saw the new arrival come and smiled to himself. He walked over and greeted him. "Oi! Mate! You must be new here. I'm Floyd. Floyd Ambrose. Corporal around here." He extended a hand. "If you came for action, lemme tell you, war is a freight train from Hell on steroids with a shot of bloody adrenaline on a plate of sugar. Not enough?
