It was a dark night, when a man entered a bar and ordered a drink. Upon entering the bar, he bumped a rocker. "Hey! Watch where your going!" The man shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm so-"

"Hey! Do you have a problem!?"

"No, I-"

"Let's take this outside, pal!"

The man and the rocker walked outside. Once outside, the rocker just stood there. "Hey! Come on! Are you weak? Come get me!" The man slowly charged for the rocker, but he took out his electric guitar and played a chord. As the sound played from the guitar, a blue, electric substance came from the guitar, and upon contact with the man, vaporized the man. "No one messes with me." The rocker went back inside.

At the EBA headquarters, Commander Kahn looked at a report and sighed. "Another one?" Commander Kahn sighed again. "This is the 15th one this week. Agents!" The agents entered his office. "We have another one on our hands. I need you to investigate the cause of death. It looks like an explosion, yet the explosion mark resembles sound waves." Commander Kahn took out some photos of sands distorted by sound waves and crime scene photos. "The pictures of sand demonstrate the principle we are dealing with. And of course, the crime scene photos show what was at the crime scene." The agents nodded in acknowledgment. Commander Kahn did his usual point and yelled "GOOOOOOO!" The agents ran out of the office and went to the crime scene.

"Hmmmmm..... What if we started a music-based tournament using EBA guidelines?" Commander Kahn sat at his desk, thinking out loud. "As long as we can keep it under control, we may actually find something...." Commander Kahn typed up a tournament flier and printed them out. "Agents!" The agents entered the room. "Send these fliers around the country!" The agents took the fliers and posted them throughout the country.

The agents continue the post the fliers. They posted at street signs, stadiums, collages, schools, everywhere (not literally, but not all over the place in a city)! Agent 'J' sighed. "Why us?" Agent 'Morris' shook his head. "All he wants us to do is get these posters in public places." He took out his microphone and the other agents smiled, as they started to use the beats to distribute the fliers.

After about 3 hours, all of the fliers were distributed through the country. "Man, I'm beat. Hey, wanna get some coffee?" The agents nodded, as they went to their closest Starbucks.

((This means that you need to get into a situation in which you can examine the flier and decide if you want to take care in the tournament or not)).

Taro was sitting in front of an alley,Reading a book from the local library.He sighed,it was just another boring day.Nobody would hire him for his musical talent.Just then there was a gust of wind,and flyer hit his face."What the?"He said as he took it off.The Flyer had big bold letters on it.It said "National Music Tournament!Are you the best?Come and find out!"

This was what Taro was waiting for!He skimmed over the flyer again and let out a happy shout.

Life seemed to hate Cat McGowan. Her toast always landed butter-side-down, she was always late for things, and never managed to avoid the cracks in the sidewalk.

So she wasn't too surprised when-the EXACT moment she looked up from her book-a neon-green flyer hit her face. Peeling the paper off of her face, she skimmed it, reading passages aloud.

"Music competition...the best...find out..."

Cat stuffed the paper into a page in her book and shrugged.

Why not? Could be interesting...

Taro ran to the towns stadium,only to find an incredibly long line.He sighed."Oh well......nothing can turn out perfectly."He said as he walked to the back of the line.But as waited,thoughts of what would happen gave him hope.It kept him optimistic.

Several EBA agents were handing out sign-up forms to the many people in the line. One agent finally made it to Taro. "Take this and fill it out while waiting in line." The agent then handed the form to Taro.

Taro accepted the sheet and looked at it.It was a basic sign-up.Like name,gender,instrument,etc.After filling it out,Taro noticed that it was his turn!He walked into a small room and he took out his air guitar.

"Well, here's a question for you." Ellen paced in front of the drum set and bent down so that she was right in Leon's face. "Why are you such a freaking a --"

She was cut off by a loud guitar chord. Ellen covered her ears at the sudden noise, having taken out her earplugs several moments before. "How about both of you just shut up so we can practice?" the guitarist, Alex, growled.

"Tell that to Miss Can't Sing," Leon retorted, smirking.

"Oh, NICE insult, Leon." Ellen's voice was dripping with sarcasm. "I won't even honor that with a rebuttal... if you even know what that word means."

"Guys, seriously, we've gotta practice." Alex's voice seemed distant to the fighting pair before him.

"You know, THIS is why I wanted a male singer. At least guys aren't so freaking emotional."

Ellen groaned in rage, gripping the drumsticks in her slender fingers. "You... are SO sexist!" She held one of the sticks above her head. "I'm gonna do two things I know Craig would have wanted to me to do. One: I'm quitting. Not because you want me out, but because I want out. And two..." With that, she lowered the stick right onto Leon's head. He groaned in pain and rubbed his sore scalp. "Later, guys." Then, in a softer voice, she added, "Good luck."

Ellen was storming through the street in a fit of rage. She knew it was dangerous to be out alone, no matter what the time, but she wanted to as far away from that IDIOT Leon as possible. Still... she did feel bad for abandoning her band like that. Maybe they'll kick Leon to the curb and ask me to come back... She sighed and looked at the drumsticks in her hands. Craig... Why aren't you here right now?

As she was walking, a very strong wind suddenly blew against her. Before she could get a grumble out, something thin smacked her right in the face. "Great," she murmured, pulling the piece of paper from her face. She was going to toss it aside until she saw the bold print at the top:

"National Music Tournament"

Her jaw dropped before spreading into a grin. "What a lucky break!" she whispered. "I've gotta go sign up!" Still clutching the flier, she dashed down the street toward the stadium. To her surprise, it was pretty quiet there. Oh, no! she thought. Am I too late?

Set left the band after being sent to hospital for setting himself on fire for a publicity stunt on-stage. Two years later, Set's dissappeared from the public eye, and Stefan's a wandering singer/guitarist.
Other info (optional): He's 17 here, so he's younger then I normally RP him as. Is known for being flashy with his guitar, and doing things like... playing his guitar upside-down.

Ellen jumped a bit when the man spoke to her. "O-Okay," she stammered, taking the form. She quickly sat down and began writing in the little blanks. Name... Age... Gender... Instrument... She wasn't quite sure what to put here, so she put "singer," hoping that they would accept that. She suddenly felt a bit tense. This was her first time auditioning for something this big -- since she formed Death by Tulips, she didn't have to try-out for it. Granted, she had experience in trying out for talent shows and, in her days as a serious clarinetist, All-Region Band, but nervous vibes were still coursing through her. Maybe this was a bad idea... I just found about this not ten minutes ago. I don't even have any material ready! A thought struck her as she glanced at the drumsticks in her hands. Okay, Craig. This one's gonna be for you.

Once she finished getting over her nervousness, she stood up and handed the form back to the agent. "Okay, where do I go now?" she inquired, trying to keep her voice from shaking. Even after her thoughts just a minute ago, she still couldn't figure out why she was so nervous.

Stefan waited in line. He was up next, it seemed. He'd scribbled his stuff down on his form, and was tapping his guitar case absentmindedly. Roughly were the neck was. He hadn't known about it for long, but he chose somethign from a random selection of songs. First was unsutabile, second was OK, so he'd stuck with that. He entered the building, and sat down, looking at the stage.

Great suggestion, Ellen thought sarcastically, her blue-ish mood ringing in her head. Guess it's better than nothing. She nodded and stepped up to the microphone. "Testing," she said once. The voice was perfect without a bit of feedback. Okay, she thought, it's just like singing with my band during the parties. Just open your mouth and sing. She turned away from the mic and tested her voice a little bit. Regaining her composure, she began singing in perfect pitch:

I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone

Both her voice and expressions held so much emotion as she continued. Every ounce of her being was put into this song, showing everything that had happened in a matter of weeks... or was it months? Ellen couldn't remember, and she refused to remember. It was... too painful.

Tears could be seen crawling down the agent'(s) face(s). "Perfect pitch....." The voices started breaking. "Filled with emotional power........ Oh man! Welcome to Hollywood, baby!" The other agent elbowed the agent would said that line from American Idle, which made them regain their composure. "Anyways, you passed. Next!"

Stefan clapped his hands in his ual way. Not in straight out applause, but definetely in a callping sound. "Bravo." he said, standing up. He walked onto the stage, checking his guitar tuning. He twiddled with it slightly, getting it right. While he certainly wouldn't be able to put on a performance like the person before him (he had limited emotional showings), but he could still play.

Stefan played well (despite his showing off), and got in some of his more insane stuff (case in question: Playing his guitar cross-armed). He paused, and got off the stage.

Stefan turned, blowing hair out of his eyes when he stopped. "Well, I was going on the assumption you would ask me to get off the stage anyway. I was merely saving you the effort, and the most you'd have to do instead of calling me was scribble my name into either 'Fail', or 'pass' column, correct?" Stefan often slipped into these moods - he didn't like to mess about at times like this. He would probably be very loose later, though.

"SEE?" Stefan aughed, going to sit down. He took a chair, along with everyone else who passed ((Sorry for the godmod.)). He had remembered to take his guitar out of the amplifier, and had brought the case. He put it, and the guitar pick back in the case, and waitied for the endless line to end, as impossible as that was. He tapped his foot absentmindedly. Maybe he could talk with the other passers?
