Phoenix prepared his stuff. He waited for the gods to carry him to the end of the world. He was scared but noble, ready to prove his innocence. He looked at his brother, Theaseus and smiled. 'Are you ready?' Theaseus replied 'Whatever the chalange. I am ready.' They waited to see if anyone was going to come with them. 'Do you know about the Gorgons?' Phoenix asked 'Yes.' Theaseus replied 'They turn any man to stone by looking at their eyes... A chalenge...' Phoenix gulped 'What are our chances?' He asked '50 50...' Theaseus said 'But that's lucky.'

Hades sat in the pits of the underworld watching Phoenix and Theasus prepare. "Well this should be interesting." He smikred. He snapped his fingers and a bubble with the Medusa appeared before him. "Medusa, you better be careful, some buy names Phoenix is going to try and chop your head off." He dismissed her before she could say anything. "I predict this will get very interesting. Hehehehehe..." He chuckled to himself and continued to watch.
((I'll incorperate another character later on in the story but for now I'll play Hades.))

He appeared in front of Hades. "I am the Great Darkness; Sero, my Lord." Although Hades were good friends, and almost equal in power, Sero repeated that every time. It was getting old-hat

Hades snapped his fingers and a shadow appeared before him. The shadow transformed into a dark knight. "I think you know why I called you here." The dark knight rose and bowed before Hades. "Yes, my master, I understand my task." He vanished and appears a couple meters away from Phoenix and Theaseus. "Hey... I heard you two were going to slay Medusa." The dark night had takes to form of a 16 year old boy. "My name is Damian."
Meanwhile in the underworld. "Ahh finally your here Sero. I need to ask a favor of you..." He showed him the crystal ball with Phoenix, Theaseus and Damian in it. I need to to kill Phoenix and Theaseus, but only if my "little helper" doesn't." When he said little helper he pointed at Damian. "As of now you can just relax and watch as that embark on their soon-to-be failed quest." He offered him a glass of wine.
Name: Damian Shadow
Age: (Fake age) 16, (actual is unknown) ???
Occupation: Dark Night. (But he is diguised he is a normal boy.)
Family: None, was created by Hades.
Mission: To stop, and/or kill Phoenix and Theaseus.
Weapons: (When in dark night form) A giant pitch black sword, (When in human form) none, as of now.

Above ground, two monsters appeared. They looked like humans, except their hands were massed of long stringy tentacles, with spikes on the end.They attacked the people. Where the wounds hit, they seemed to drag blood out. Soldiers were deployed, and they met them with resistance. One died, but the other killed as many as possible. It kept fighting.
One of these monsters appeared near the hand. This one had wings. It came down upon the princes and Damien, it's tentacles flailing.

'Agh!' Phoenix yelped, he did'nt have a weapon. He closed his eyes and jumped onto one of the creatures, cutting himself 'YOWCH!!' Phoenix cried 'PHOENIX!' Theaseus yelled 'Are you alright?!!' Phoenix was bleeding.

The demon took to the air, whipping the hand, Thesues, and Damien (as well as Phoenix) with it's tentacles.
Sero called up another curse.
Water erupted from the surface of the ocean, crashing down upon the group. It stunned them, and the demon tried to remove the claw from Phoenix's grip.

The tentacle phased through damien for when he is disguised he cannot be hurt. "Arghh" He faked a scream of pain as he was washed away by the water.

Dofa appeared in front of all of the comotion. "Finally, I'm in Rome." he shouted. He paused and looked around. "Wait, this isn't Rome." I must have had the wrong coordinates." He looked at his small time machine. "Great, now the continuum drive has malfunctioned. Little help?"

A dark miasma rose from the ground around the time machine. It enveloped Dofa, before hurling him away from the machine. The darkness then turned to the machine. It enveloped inside it, consuming it. Then, the machine travelled. Sero swore. It had moved location - it was now on the edge of the world. He shouted. "Luna!"
A pair of human, green eyes shone from a shadowed wall. "Yes, father?" "Collect the machine. Bring it back." "Yes, father." The eyes dissappeared.
