Time: 2:00 AM

Miles away from land, in the middle of the ocean, there was a ship, a cruise ship to be precise, a really fancy and expensive one at that, with people enjoying themselves, eating, laughing, and having a great time, except one person..."get away from me! stay back! don't come any closer! or i'll-" just then another voice spoke"you'll...what? try and kill me with your fists? just try...after all..you only have a few seconds left..."all of a sudden, the man dropped dead, but to make things worse, the other man had shot, stabbed, and used a handkerchief to choke him to death, then with great care, stuck him back in his chair...a big leather chair, and even the person with the greatest of care can make a mistake, the desk in front of the chair had snagged on to his shirt and pulled off some fabric, no blood though. he also knocked an envelope off the desk as well, a blue envelope, it flew under the desk, and the killer was unaware of its disappearance, but he knew there was one, but there was no time to look"I've gotta hurry!...i need to get this on somebody..." just then, the door creaked slightly, and he needed to hurry, so he jumped out a vacant window, the Three big vacant windows, he had left the middle one, but all three were open, and as he left, the other man came in, with his scruffy, and all to familiar voice, he spoke"you uhh...you wanted to see me, sir?" the man walked in a bit further finally realizing what was there!"what the-!?"he ran over to the body and looked him over"what happened here!? someon-"just then a server, three to be accurate, walked in, to see the man standing right there next to the victim"Gah! c-call for help!" the first one said"a-alright!"one called for help, while the other went to get other people as well, and the one that was left pulled a knife, to be safe"N-n-n-now listen here buddy...i don't want any trouble!" the other man sighed and spoke"yeah...neither do i...b-but i didn't do it! i just walked in on it!"the server shook his head"L-likely story! thats what they all say!" just then, the security cops came in, now with shocked expressions"wha-!?i-its can't be?! D-Detective...Gumshoe!?"thats right, it was non other then gumshoe himself!"i-i didn't do it!you see..."the cops shook there head"...i can't believe it...i guess we'll have t- huh!?" just then, all the power went off in the ship, and there was smoke, they could smell and see it, everyone was worried about it, the boat had stopped moving, it was pitch black, it being night...then there was another all to familiar voice to be heard"whoa...i never thought it could be so dark!...huh? again?"previously, he heard the same voices talking, and now the man walked over to where he was hearing voices"good job..."the man said, then the other man spoke"thanks...now get going! before they find out!"the other man shook his head"they won't find out...but i should be heading out anyway for good measure...take care"and with that they left, and the man listening in spoke"i-i-i-i've gotta tell somebody!"and as he went off to go tell someone what he heard, he tripped, and hit his head hard, and he was left unconscious. then there was one more voice, that sounded much like a child's"something isn't right here..."it was a little girl, and just then, she let out a scream, she had stumbled upon the mans body"M-Mr.Deauxnim! W-wake up!"thats right...Larry was here...but what are both Larry and Gumshoe doing on such an expensive ship!? but Larry had started to wake up"huh...?oh...hey pearl...what happened...?it felt like i was hit by my ex-girlfriends boyfriend...again!"Pearl shook her head"i don't know Mr.Deauxnim! i just found you here, lying here on the ground!...what were you doing here anyway...?"Larry scratched his head"to tell you the truth...i have no clue"he said with a goofy smile, and it was just moments after that they heard about the murder on the ship.

they had finally got the ship working a day later, and had arrived back where it departed, Gumshoe in questioning, everyone surprised he murdered someone...and so one, there was not much anyone could do, but Gumshoe needed a lawyer, and who else could he ask for? Phoenix Wright himself, the only thing is, Phoenix doesn't know he's defending Gumshoe yet! also, no one knows who's prosecuting yet, so who knows, this might be Phoenix's toughest case yet!


so yeah, i thought it'd be cool to try this out, let me know if its interesting! if not then uh...it will get more interesting as it gets further in, trust me well anyway, this isn't taking place at a real specific time in the Phoenix Wright timezone, so everyones still here! ^-^ we'll just say Phoenix never lost his badge, but was still in close relations with Apollo and Trucy though ^-^ so you can be whomever you want from the series, except people who were guilty and so on, now, here are the rules

1:no godmoding, powerplay, or controlling the RP like its your own...only i can do that :P XD jk

2: play fair and respect other people

3:please be semi-lit and no text speak!

4:please try to make people other things then just Lawyers ^-^ you don't HAVE to, it would just make things easier...

Server 1: Witness of the murder, was serving drinks to people atleast ten, or twenty minutes before he thought about going up. he also served some shady people as well. he was the one he called the security guards, and got them to come

Server 2: Witness of the murder, was serving food to people at least fifteen or ten minutes before he thought about going up. he also served Larry and Pearl. he was the one he called for help and had no success

Server 3: Witness of the murder,was talking with people, and chatting for at least fifteen or twenty minutes, before thinking of going up to the Captain. he was the one who took out his knife and made Gumshoe stay there

Bio:Hinaru is a good kid, he has a good life, and enjoys what he does, well, sort of, he hasn't used his skills yet, because a case hasn't called for it, but he's always there to lend a hand and help out with whatever is necessary, he's friends with Sonde, so he can see crime scenes and stuff, so he gets the basic picture on things, although, the thing that inspired him to be a defense attorney was his childhood, he was bullied around, and was always accused of doing things he didn't, and he was tired of it, so thats why he became an attorney, so that he could help them out, so they could have help when he didn't
Looks:he has white hair, with grey highlights( although it looks like a dark blue) he wears a white coat, with a blue-green shirt under it, and a pair of blue jeans
Misc Info:although young, his skills let him graduate, and he loves to take risks and gamble! and he wins most of the time!
Special Talents or items:like the Magatama, he has the ability to tell when someone is lying, he can see it, which freaks him out, but he lives with it, trying to figure out what his gift is.

Looks:he looks like an official doctor for sure! he's got nice hair, two strands of it hand down on each side of his head, he also wears glasses and a coat, a nice, doctors coat
Misc Info:Kai Uzo is friendly and never afraid to give out advice, even to his enemy's, because he always gives out the information people need or want to hear
Special Talents or items:has the ability to know how a person died just by looking at them, no surgery needed most of the time

"NICK!" screamed Maya into his ear. "Please tell me you're awake!"
"Of course I am..." he grumbled. "You just woke me up!"
"WELL, WAKE UP!" Maya managed to yell even louder. Phoenix had to hold the phone away from his ear. "You've got to come down here!"
"You mean the harbor? Your vacation doesn't end for a few more days..."
"It was canceled! There's been a MURDER!"
"What?"
"And they're accusing Gumshoe!!"
"WHAT!?" Phoenix was definitely awake now. "You and Pearls wait right there! I'll come pick you up."
He hung up the phone, got dressed as quickly as possible, skipped breakfast and bolted to the door.

Gumshoe sighed as he sat in the Detention Center"what did i do to deserve this...? was it all those bills i didn't pay? if it is, i'll pay them!....um...never mind..." he was talking to himself for the time being, and he was bored, but he knew what to do, being a Detective and all, all he waited for was Phoenix to get there, in order to tell him what went on

Phoenix, accompanied by Maya and Pearl, went into the Detention Center. "Is Detective Gumshoe here?" he asked the guard, who nodded. He sat down at the visitor's window, where he expected to see a very distraught Gumshoe very soon.
"We're defending him, right Nick? We're gonna prove him innocent!" Maya was brimming with energy.
"Yeah," said Phoenix. "Just calm down, okay?" Phoenix smiled at Maya. She hadn't changed a bit over seven years. Still the same Maya as ever, just older and resembling Mia even more.

((sorry it took me so long, i was called and i had to go *sweat* sorry! ))

the guard had brought Gumshoe out and sat him down"hey there, glad you could make it, pal..."Gumshoe said with some sadness, and tension"...well, i don't expect news to travel, but i got suspected for murder, pal! me, of all people!" Gumshoe didn't know Phoenix knew about it already, so he thought he was giving them info"anyway, i'll tell you everything i know, pal! whatever it takes!...just uh...let me collect my thoughts..."

then Pearl spoke to Phoenix" hello Mr.Nick! its been awhile hasn't it?"she said with a grin, she was trying to lighten the mood slightly

"Well," Phoenix started, "Why don't you just tell us what happened as far as you know?" He glanced at Pearl, who had grown considerably well. She was no longer "cute," but now she was very pretty. He hadn't seen her for a while; he reminded himself to talk to her later. "Gumshoe?"

Gumshoe was deep in thought, until he finally spoke in a happy tone" to tell you the truth, pal, i can't really remember what exactly happened"he said with a little laugh"it went by so fast that its a blur..."he could tell he was going to get yelled at, but he still knew a little bit"...but there is one thing i do know...the victim...he called me to his office, he sent me a note, it sounded pretty urgent, and he told me to come over right away, thats why i was there..."he was pretty serious, but Gumshoe always has something to say to mess something up"also, i pulled out the knife in his body"he said with a slight grin, of course, Gumshoe's just making things worse for himself.

just then, you could hear the guards yelling"hey! get him! your not supposed to be here!"they were chasing somebody...and who else could it be?"Nick! tell them you know me!"just then, the cops grabbed him"tell them were friends! come on! you remember me right? how could you forget Nick! its me! Larry! Maya! you could never forget me right!?your to cute for that!ahhh"he was being dragged out by the cops, hoping Phoenix would tell them they were friends

"Stop!" yelled Phoenix. "He's with me... We're just visiting Gumshoe." He then asked Larry, "Okay, what did you do? They don't kick you out without a reason."

"so wait, after i give you information like that, your gonna ignore me!? after i did all of that thinking for you, pal..."Gumshoe now had a sad expression, he did try his hardest to remember, but he must know, Larry was being dragged away, so he just let it go...sort of...

Larry grinned"thanks Nick!"he walked over with that goofy smile of his"i came to see you...but mostly you Maya...!"he smiled, but just then, he got a slap from Pearl"how dare talk that way to Mystic Maya! she isn't your special someone!"Larry laid on the ground in pain"ow...man...you can hit hard..."he then stood up"well, its nice seeing you again Pearl"Larry said with a grin"i would be glad seeing you again to Mr. Deauxnim, but not after what you did to Mystic Maya!"Larry felt shot down"ouch..."there was a slight pause before looking to Phoenix"hey Nick! i didn't do anything wrong, but i've got info that'll make your head spin! you ready?!"Larry said with his happy grin

"Uh..." Phoenix carefully said, "If it has to do with Gumshoe and this case, then sure." Truth be told, his head was spinning already. "But this visit can only last so long, and I have to ask Gumshoe some more questions..."

Larry nodded"OK, well, get this...me and Pearl were there that night! we were on that big fancy boat!"he said with a grin"i don't remember much since...well..i tripped and hit my head, or thats what Pearl said...but i do remember two guys talking about something...like they were ready to do something important! the only thing is, i can't remember exactly what it was...but hey! if i remember, i'll be sure to let you know, OK Nick?"he grinned then turned around"oh yeah...the only thing i remember is them leaving...i haven't told anyone else Nick, so consider this special treatment from a friend!"and with that, he was gone.

Gumshoe still sitting there alone"hey uh...pal...like you said, we don't have much time...so you might want to hurry up and ask me the questions, pal" Gumshoe said with a calm tone"also pal, did you hear what i told you before? i worked real hard to remember, so please tell me you do, sir" he said with a slight grin

Phoenix nodded. "Sorry about that. Now, Gumshoe, why did you grab the knife?"

Gumshoe grinned" well, it looked painful, and i thought i should pull it out" he said chuckling slightly, thinking he had done a good deed, not realizing his fingerprints could be on it" there was also a handkerchief around his neck too...so i took that off as well"he said with a grin

Phoenix sighed, putting his head in his hands. This was his worst client yet; then again, it WAS gumshoe... "I'll come back later if I need to know anything else. Do you have a letter of request for me?" Please tell me you remembered that, he thought.

Gumshoe sighed"...well, there is one thing...could you go back to the ship? i'm sure theres something there that'll let you win, like you always do, pal!" he said with a grin" also um...when he called me...the victim...i think he said there was another note for me...but it must be somewhere on the ship..maybe if you find that, you'll get some good evidence, sir!"he said with a grin, then the guard came over"Dick Gumshoe, its time..."Gumshoe sighed"i'm countin' on you to get this done right, pal!" those were his last words as he left in to questioning, then Pearl spoke"something isn't right Mr.Nick...i know he didn't know it but...theres more to it then we know..."

"We're here." Phoenix said to himself. He had always wanted to be on a luxury ship; just not under these circumstances. "So," he said, turning to Pearl. "Where to?"
"Yeah!" said an excited Maya. "Where's the murder scene?"

Pearl blinked slightly, then started to think"well...if i remember correctly..."she grinned"...it should be in the Captains Quarters!" it was only moments after that they got there, the only thing is...it was swarming with cops! and a new detective as well"this is i guess the murder scene from the look at it Mr.Nick..."Pearl said in a calm tone, just then, there was a voice yelling at them"Hey! you three! you shouldn't be here!" it was the new detective, he seemed pumped, and really turning the place upside down

"Whoah!" said Phoenix, "Slow down! We're the defense team for this case, and we need to have a look around."
"Umm, Nick?" Maya whispered so the detective couldn't hear. "Do we really have the authority?"
"No, but he may not know that," Nick whispered back. "Just act like we're supposed to be here."

The Detective shook his head" if i remember correctly, defense attorneys have no authority to come and search for evidence..."he sighed"...so scram! i'm trying my best here to keep Gumshoe out of the clink! but if the evidence turns towards him, then that means..."he sighed again"...never mind...a-anyway..."he calmed down now, he didn't seem as tense"...i need to ask you to leave, now..."he looked up to Gumshoe, he was one of his reasons for being a detective after all

"Well," said a disappointed Phoenix, "could I at least have an autopsy report?"

the Detective nodded"sure...you can have at least that much..."the detective handed Phoenix the report" hey, by the way, you look familiar...have i seen you before? and what are you doing here in the first place...?"he spoke calmly, he figured since they were there, might as well find out who they were

Pearl nodded"uh huh, i never thought he'd get in this much trouble though..."the detective sighed"yeah...same here...a-anyway, if your defending Gumshoe, then have a look around! feel free to take whatever may help you in your case!"he said with a grin"oh yeah, we've also found a few pieces of evidence as well..."he turned around to go back, then he stopped, and turned around"oh, by the way, my names Sonde Hidan, its nice to meet you three, if you need anything, let me know..."and with that, he went off to a nearby spot

"Well, thank you," said Phoenix Wright. Okay, time for business...
The first thing he noticed was the body's outline, slumped over a chair behind the desk. There was some blood, but not very much. A closer look at the autopsy report showed that the victim was shot, then stabbed. Apparently, he hadn't died yet, so he was strangled. Phoenix couldn't find any of the weapons in question; they must be at the precinct, he figured. He spied a small piece of fabric on the floor next to a chair. "Hm." He picked it up to examine it; there was no blood on it. "What do you think of this, Maya?"
"Well..." Maya suddenly got an idea. "Maybe it came off of a hamburger!"
"What?" said Phoenix. "What does this have to do with hamburgers?"

while they were looking, an official looking man, looking like a doctor came up and spoke"hm? so i see you were given one of my reports"he said with a grin"now don't over look it, he died a very interesting matter..."he said calmly"...Phoenix Wright, from the looks of it, it was like he was killed twice!"the doctor said with an unusual grin"...first he was poisoned by many...there were many poisons in him, the murder must have wanted him dead...but once...and i assume, he fell over, he must have still been alive, so the murder must have then shot, stabbed, then strangled him, to be sure and try to confuse the doctors..."he smiled"but he didn't know he'd have to face me!"then Pearl spoke up"and who would you be...?"the doctor grinned"oh yes! pardon my rudeness, i am Kai Uzo, professional doctor at your service!"

Miles was sitting at his desk, staring at all the paperwork he had to do. "Ngh..." he groaned as he dug for a lost case report that he needed by tommorow. Suddenly, when he pulled the case report out from the middle of a stack of papers, they began to topple and flew towards him! "Ahhhhhhhh!" he shouted as the papers covered him. "Why must I have so much work to do?" he mumbled as he stood up, pushing papers off of him. Then there was a knock on the door. "Come in." said Miles. The door opened and there was Ema Skye, munching on Snackoos. "Hello, Mr.Edgeworth." Ema said, grabbing another Snackoo bag and chomping on the contents. "Um, nothing much. I just have a mountain of paperwork to do, that's all." Edgeworth said, nearly stumbling into another stack of papers. He crawled beside the desk, carefull to not bump into any papers. "Well, what do you need?" said Edgeworth, standing up and going out the door, leading Ema out as well. "Let's talk about this outside, shall we?"

just then, out of nowhere, a man was running towards Edgeworth's office"Edgy!hey Edgy!!!!!"the man had a familiar voice...one Edgeworth would not like to hang around with at the moment..."hey!Edgy! did you hear what happened!? they arrested Gu-"just then, his attention was drawn from what he was about to tell Miles...and he went on to looking at Ema"why hello! i haven't seen your pretty face before!"he said with his goofy smile"the names Larry, Larry Butz! and whats your name?" of course he got sidetracked off of what he was going to tell Edgeworth...

"My name is Ema Skye. I'm a detective." said Ema, nudging Mr.Edgeworth slightly. Edgeworth sighed as he saw Larry. Larry, Larry...somethings don't change... he thought as he grabbed the case report and read over it again. "So, Gumshoe got arrested, eh, Larry?" Edgeworth said, looking up from his papers and giving Larry a Larry, be serious look. He stood up and shook Larry. "Well?!" he shouted. "What's the news?!"

while they were looking, an official looking man, looking like a doctor came up and spoke"hm? so i see you were given one of my reports"he said with a grin"now don't over look it, he died a very interesting matter..."he said calmly"...Phoenix Wright, from the looks of it, it was like he was killed twice!"the doctor said with an unusual grin"...first he was poisoned by many...there were many poisons in him, the murder must have wanted him dead...but once...and i assume, he fell over, he must have still been alive, so the murder must have then shot, stabbed, then strangled him, to be sure and try to confuse the doctors..."he smiled"but he didn't know he'd have to face me!"then Pearl spoke up"and who would you be...?"the doctor grinned"oh yes! pardon my rudeness, i am Kai Uzo, professional doctor at your service!"

Larry grinned"well its nice to me-AHH!"as he got shaken, he started to speak"Edgy! stop! i can't see straight!"after the shaking stopped, he fell over, dizzy and all, but stood up non the less"the...news...?oh yeah! did you know Gumshoe is accused of murder!?" Larry said with a grin that really shouldn't be there"and Nick is going to be his Lawyer too! so that Prosecutor better be ready to get a run for there money!"

"Huh?" Phoenix looked around. "Where?"
"Down there. Under the desk."
Phoenix picked up the peculiar object.
Maya reacted first: "It's an envelope. Nick, it could be a clue!"
"It's already been opened, from the looks of it," said Phoenix. "But someone tried to re-seal it."
Phoenix pocketed the envelope.

Kai looked upon Phoenix and eyed his movements, he saw them pick up something, but he didn't know what it was" hey...Phoenix, what was that? is it important to the case? if it is, then maybe you should give it to Sonde over there..."Kai said pointing to the previous detective"if not, then i guess you can keep it...what harm would that do anyway?" Kai said with a grin, just then, another man came, he looked incredibly young, but efficient and good looking"oh hey Hinaru!"Kai said with a grin, then Hinaru spoke"oh, hey Kai, whats...going...on...? OH MY GOSH!" he looked at Phoenix with a very happy grin"i can't believe it! its you! i can't believe its you! its the real Phoenix Wright!"only...an idiot, could see that he wasn't happy..."I've read so much about you! your one of the reasons i became an Attorney!...oh! yes!..."he held out his hjand to shake"the name is Hinaru Uzumaki! what are you doing here?"

"Oh," said Phoenix, caught off guard by his fan. "It's nice to meet you, Hinaru. I'm here to investigate a case." Phoenix couldn't help but smile back at him. "I... didn't realize I was famous..."
