I've never done something like this before, so I get the feeling I'm going to receive very odd looks for this, but I've been planning this for a while now.

This gamerun RP runs on a very simple concept: The characters will be using a device made by one of my OCs to play many games (Mostly on the shorter side, or multiplayer games), and relive some great games.

For instance, the first game we'll go through is Contra III: The Alien Wars. A pretty short game with 7 levels, and very few chars. A perfect starting game.

What happens is that each character will choose which game character they will 'embody', and that OC will become that character. Note that with good guys in some games, this may cause people who already know about these games to try and take shortcuts - that makes it all the better. :P

Now for the rules! Follow them, or I'll be reporting you :P

TAKE YOUR TIME for posting, there's no need to rush. I don't expect there to be 50 posts a day or somesuch, use the time to make your posts good. I know you can do it, I have faith in all of you.

Rule 1: Follow all of the RP Section Rules! I expect 50-word or above posts for everyone! Unless, of course, we're at a standstill in one scene due to someone being at school/work/whatever.
Rule 2: You don't have to join every game. You can come in and out for each game. Because of this I will be PMing each RPer when a new game comes along. I want each game to last no longer than a month (if that), except in some rare cases.
Rule 3: If you have to go somewhere for a long period of time, please PM ME. This is because I really don't need the characters that RP important roles to suddenly disappear and cause an outbreak between everyone else. So please, save yourself and everyone else the trouble if things come up. If they do, they do, and I'd rather know about it than have to dig it up and find out myself.
Rule 4: Even if you don't join a game, don't worry - I'll be PMing each RPer, as I said earlier, when new games come up. So when you don't feel like joining a new game, don't worry! You won't be left out.
Rule 5: Be nice. I'm serious. When I see OOC posts, I expect them to be at least courteous to the poster you're speaking to. I don't want the OOC posts to become half the posts I see in the CR Family Tree.
Rule 6: When you RP a character, I want you to act like they're trying to play the character they're assigned in each game. Whether Family Tree-related or just plain OC, imagine how they would act given their character. You can choose who your OC/FT character embodies in each game, so choose wisely!
Rule 7: This is mostly meant for HUMOR, so let's make it funny.
Rule 8: Please, have fun! :D

The first game will be, as I said, Contra III. Everything that is not controlled by a character (i.e. Bosses and such) will be controlled by me. The chars who play the good guys in this (the bad guys can't be taken since they're not even really human enough) can control the enemies they fight.

If you need to know what the game looks like on each level, use Youtube. Next up comes the OCs. Please PM me to sign up for this game, or post on here. Whichever's quicker for you.
