"No blood. Perhaps he was poisoned. We'll probably know more when we get the autopsy," Seth said. He looked at the body again. "Something's missing, though. ...Well, I'm pretty sure you already know what I'm talking about. I'll just look around."

"Do keep in mind that a sound was reported in this area. I assume it was at the same time the victim died." The leader deduced. "I'll ask about the sound. You go ahead and investigate the suspects (if any) with that theory in mind, got it?" The leader asked, making sure this investigation would go smoothly.

"Have it your way," Seth said. he saw a suspicious looking guy. "Excuse me, sir, but did you know the victim?" ((Short post))

"Why are you asking? I just got here." The guy said, not really answering much. "Geez, just because I'm dressed like this, people keep thinking I was responsible for the crime." The guy was dressed in punkish clothing.

"Nobody's accusing you of anything. And it's our job to ask everybody. So stop avoiding the question and answer. If you don't, you'll seem very suspicious," Seth said. He wasn't going to take any crap from anyone, and he was determined to find out who was responsible for the crime. He hadn't shown determination that extreme before.

"Ahem." The leader made a fake cough. "According to the other witnesses, you arrived at the same time as the reported sound. Then again, they didn't notice you until the sound was generated." The leader stated, watching the guy's reaction. "So? What does that have to do with anything?" The guy asked.

"The sound was generated right before that man died, so you were here at the scene of the crime when he was murdered. The fact that nobody noticed you until the sound was generated makes you look very suspicious. I trust you have a good explanation," Seth answered. "So, you have thirty seconds."

"I don't even know the guy? Why would I kill him? Not only that, but how could I have produced the sound in question?" The man asked, seeming to get very annoyed.

Post subject:  Re: Mira's Funeral (Anyone Can Join)

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. I was asking you for an explanation, not to ask pointless questions. First of all, nobody seems to know what the sound was. Secondly, it's not unheard of for someone to be killed by someone who doesn't know them. It happens all the time," Seth said. "If you can describe the sound, maybe I can answer how one could've produced it."

Post subject:  Re: Mira's Funeral (Anyone Can Join)

"It doesn't matter." The leader said. "It is confirmed that the sound in question did kill the victim." The guy looked at the leader. "That still doesn't explain anything. For all I know, it could have been some guy on the other side of town." The guy said, trying to remove suspicion from himself.

"Pinning the crime on someone else doesn't help your case. It just makes you seem more suspicious. If you want to remove suspicion from yourself, then cooperate and answer the questions. Otherwise, your just hurting your case. Got it?" Seth asked.

"What kind of incompetent detective are you!?" The guy said asked Seth. "It could have easily been an assassin that used that sound to assassinate that guy." The leader shook his head. "The sound reported by the witnesses is a sound that only works within a certain range." The leader informed the guy, as he tried to come up with a response to this statement.

"I am going to pretend you didn't ask me that question because I know you are just starting to run out of scapegoats and you'll crack. If you are innocent, there is no reason to not answer my questions. Oh, and you knew the victim," Seth said calmly, but still looked determined.

Post subject:  Re: Mira's Funeral (Anyone Can Join)

"Did not and did so." The guy responded, maintaining his 'Seth is incompetent' trick. The leader shook his head. "EBA-skilled assassins kill in groups. Like the real EBA, they must work together to use the power of the beats." The guy started shaking in fury. "IT WAS JUST A SOUND! THE EBA IS IRRELEVANT TO THIS CASE! I MEAN HOW ELSE COULD I HAVE USED PURE SOUND TO KILL THE VICTIM?!" The guy yelled.

Post subject:  Re: Mira's Funeral (Anyone Can Join)

"Power of the beats...Hm...and you're saying you used pure sound to kill the victim. You just contradicted yourself in that one question. And you're accusing me of incompetence. First, you said, and I quote, 'It was just a sound.' Then, you said, 'How else could I have used pure sound to kill the victim?!' Clearly contradictory, and a suspiciously strong reaction," Seth said calmly.

The guy started to sweat. He looked for a way to run, but the leader had him pinned to the ground in a flash. He took out a pair of handcuffs and latched them on the wrists of the pinned man. "You are under arrest for assassination and illegal use of sound." The leader stood up, leaving the man to come up at the same time. The other guys in the group came to punch the guy in the stomach several times. The man fell to the floor. "This is now for the city police to handle." The leader said, just standing there.

"What is it? The method of death?" The leader asked. "Or is it the way that the guy is dressed?" The man wanted to comment on the leader's question, but his stomach ached too much. He just lay there in pain. "If you're thinking about this in relation to Mira's techniques, he did it wrong." One of the other guys said, commenting on what could be bothering Seth.

"Well, it's just...You said in order to kill someone with the power of the beats, people had to work together in groups. So, where's the rest of his group now?" Seth asked. "And another thing, this guy is supposed to be an assassin. Then how come he didn't put up a better fight? Something just doesn't add up. Who hired him and why? Where is the rest of his group now? And he confessed and lost his cool to quickly to be an assassin. I think he wanted to be caught to distract us."

Post subject:  Re: Mira's Funeral (Anyone Can Join)

"But to distract us from-" The leader couldn't finish the question. It dawned upon him what the group was after. "Dammit!" The leader said, as he made a banging motion with this left hand, but stopped his fist, leaving his left arm in a 90 degree angle. "Everyone into the helicopter, we need to get back fast!" The group rushed into the helicopter, but before they took off, the leader dropped a document regarding the payment for that investigation.

Seth got into the helicopter, and looked to see the document regarding their pay. "Wait," he said, but it was too late. The helicopter was now airborne. "What were they after?" Seth asked the leader. He still needed to clear some things up. Seth had no clue whether to be happy or sad because he was right. He braced himself, expecting danger.

"Remember that package from earlier?" The leader asked Seth. "It's bound to contain valuable things. Valuable in the literal, informational, legal, and/or technological. I wouldn't be surprised if it's found to be missing."

Post subject:  Re: Mira's Funeral (Anyone Can Join)

"So that man's job was to distract us and keep us talking to him, and once they had the package, he gave himself away so we would talk some more so they would kill us. If I had thought of that a second later, I doubt any of us would be here," Seth said. "But now is not the time to ponder what could've happened. We need to plan how we're going to get that package back or if it's worth even pursuing." Why can't everyone just leave Mira alone? He's dead.

"We still might have time." The leader stated. "The admission was an accident. His reaction was the same as one who ran out of patience. He was just overdoing his act."

"Maybe..." Seth said, but he was very sure by the time they got back, the package would be gone. Maybe he was just being pessimistic, but whenever he was hopeful, his luck would run out on him, so he learned to always expect the worst.

"Where did we keep the package?" One of the guys asked, only for the team to realize they had forgotten to find a safe place for the package.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Foxkeh had figured a way to carry the package safely. He had to turn into one of the delivery units to safeguard the package.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Great, now we'll really get it now." One of the guys said. "Well at least that other team would have a hard time locating the package." The leader said. "Besides, it's not punishable if it was lost."

"Where did we put it? I remember getting the package, then we went on the roof for training..." Seth said, almost frantically. He didn't care about being punished as much as losing the letter inside and forgetting what it said. Seth had already forgotten most of it. Not to mention, he didn't even get to see anything else in that package except the letter, and he was curious.

"Uhhhhhh......" The group stood there, thinking. "I think we left it on the ground before the call to the previous investigation." The leader said, attempting to recall the location of the package. "That sounds about right." The group agreed, now waiting to get to the roof of the building in question.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is very odd. I got to get this to a safe place. Foxkeh thought to himself, as he kept his form of a delivery unit.
The instant they arrived, they split up and looked for the package. "Not here!" One of the guys said. "Nothing here!" The other guy said. "I see nothing!" The third guy said. "I don't think it's here!" The fourth guy said. "It's gotta be here!" The leader said, suggesting he found nothing.
"Nothing on my end. Grr...How could I have let this happen?" Seth asked, burrying his face in his hands. Then, he got back up into his calm demeanor. "Ask around. Maybe someone saw who took it."
"We can't let anyone else know about it. For all we know, those guys may have taken it, if not in the process of doing so." The leader said. "Asking around would allow them to know that we are looking for it too. Then again, they may already have it. Have they checked Mira's place?" The leader asked.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They'll never find it in Mira's house. Foxkeh told himself, as he went to that direction (while keeping his form of a delivery guy).

"I guess it's worth looking there," Seth said. He had been to Mira's place before, but it was long ago. Seth wanted to go there and see what's changed as well as looking for the package. "I say we go there and search."

"Alright then, let's get going." The leader said, as they start moving in the direction of Mira's house.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This looks like a good place to put it. Foxkeh thought to himself, as he hid the package behind some unused parts. That's enough of that. Foxkeh returned to his original form.
Seth walked right behind them, trying not to seem eager. It was working as he looked completely calm. "So, what was in the package besides the letter. I mean, it has to be worth something to someone."
"It was Mira's belongings. Documents, devices, valuables, etc. All of which are important in their own ways." The leader said, as they made it to Mira's apartment. "You would have though he'd have enough money to buy a mansion or something, the way he saved his paychecks." The leader said, as he walked in the apartment, disregarding the fact that Foxkeh forgot to shut the door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Foxkeh heard the people entering his house. Thieves! Foxkeh thought to himself, as he snuck his way behind a huge cannon-like device, which was oddly pointing towards the inside of the room.

Seth looked around, feeling a little uneasy. "Um...Guys? Why was the door open? I think either someone is in here or someone just left. And it can't be that they just left because of the footprints on the ground. Someone is here. Be careful," Seth warned.

"Yeah yeah, we know." The leader said, as he started to look around the room. Everyone else did the same thing. "Where would be the best place to hide the package?" One of the guys asked, thinking that the thief hid it there until the team left.

Seth looked at a pile of old, unused parts. Then, he saw something sticking out. The package? "Hey, guys, I think I found something," he said. "Help me move these parts."

Post subject:  Re: Mira's Funeral (Anyone Can Join)

They turned around, but they were too late. Foxkeh activated the strange device, which emitted a laser beam that 'scanned' Seth. When the laser passed by, each part of Seth disappeared. One of the guys wanted to do something, but the leader held him back. "It's too late. We can't do anything." The guy wanted to object. "If you were to move him now, he would surely die."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It took a minute for Seth to appear in an unknown location. It was similar to the world in that Tron movie.
