“I will attempt to perform an epic rocket jump!” X elucidates.
“NO!” everyone shouts in slow-motion.
X fires the rocket launcher straight at the ground. It explodes violently, propelling shrapnel in every direction. The shrapnel ignites an entire box of C4, creating a massive fireball that completely razes the entire armory. The explosion blasts through the Meridian Gate, painting the hallway in ash and soot. Everyone dies instantly.
“Uhh…guys?” Sunny asks, “What happened? Are you okay?? Guys!!”
Fujisaki cartwheels down the hallway and lands outside the Meridian Gate, hollering like a warrior in a kung fu movie as he brandishes his katana. Noticing that everyone is gone, he drops the pose.
“Well, shit,” he says, “Guess I accidentally killed them all with my telekinetic powers. Hate it when that happens…”
“Wh-What happened to Mama, Fujisaki?” Sunny asks.
Fujisaki whips out a gun and shoots the screen, shattering it into a million pieces.
“My name’s not Fujisaki, kid,” Fujisaki explains.
He leaps into the broken computer screen, somehow converting himself into data so he can reunite with Yin. The two of them immediately fly off into space.
RAD END

On the other hand, if he captures Sunny he can just hole up in the playroom instead, and give us a much stronger incentive to go after him. The plan to wait and prepare in here won't amount to anything. Going after Sunny is probably the best option."

“What about the wounded?” Mei asks, “Who will look after them?”
“I’m not staying here,” Monk says, “I can walk well enough. I’d be a sitting duck here anyway.”
“I will join as well,” X says, slowly getting off of the gurney. “I believe I will be perfectly fine.”
“H-Hold on! You’re still in bad shape. You can’t just go running around the place willy-nilly!”
“Again, I will be perfectly fine.”
“The two of us should be able to look after them,” Amandi adds, “As long as we stick together, that is.”
“If you’re going to come, at least bring something useful,” Amethyst says, pulling some C4 out of a crate.
The group works together to grab some explosives. Though they move quickly, it takes a good bit of time. Fortunately, they see no sign of Fujisaki. Mao stays behind at the Armory to keep watch, carefully training his RPG down the hallway.

The C4 is loaded up on the broken wall. The few objects of furniture in the room have been thrown on the floor to serve as cover.
Taikong crouches behind an overturned table near the entrance. He holds a detonator in his hand. The others remain in the hallway, watching with anticipation.
“Okay, on the count of three!” Taikong shouts, “1…2…3!”
Taikong mashes the detonator. With a resounding boom, a blast of dust and flame surges from the wall. It busts a hole straight through the wood, though it’s quite small—perhaps only big enough for a child.
Taikong lets out a cheer.
“Alright, we did it! Come on out, Sunny!”
Sunny heads for the door, but then the floor jolts beneath him. He stumbles to the ground and glances up at the hole, which is moving slowly up the wall.
“Ummm, guys?” Sunny says, “The floor is like…moving down for some reason?”
“What the fuck?” Mei replies.
Suddenly, the group hears a loud scream of pain from deeper in the hallway. It sounds like a man’s voice.
“That’s, uhh…doesn’t sound good,” Amethyst says.
“Maybe Mao just caught Fujisaki trying to get past us?” Suyin adds hopefully.
Next, Taikong hears a low whine followed by a violent crash. This is immediately followed by a steady rumble, as if the entire world was collapsing. He hears Amandi scream, followed by a loud thump and the sound of a cane clattering to the floor.
“Okay, what the actual fuck!” Mei screams, “I think Fujisaki got the RPG! Everybody out of the hallway!”
Amethyst stumbles into the room, covered in ash.
“That blast just covered the hallway in rubble,” Amethyst says, “There’s no way to get to the throne room anymore.”
The others head inside, looking a little battered but still alive. Unfortunately, Amandi seems to be in bad shape, having taken the brunt of the blast. Mei has to drag him inside and now looks down at the man in horror.
“Okay, change of plans!” Juanli shouts, rushing into the secret room. “We’re all gonna join Sunny in the Playroom! Quickly now, since it’s apparently sinking!”
Taikong glances to the hole. Just one more blast ought to open it up completely. But they needed to hurry: the floor was sinking fast!
[The next scene will be player-driven unless you guys spend too much time goofing around in which case I’ll take over. The end goal is to get people into the playroom before it sinks into the floor.]

"........ I guess this is the end, isn't it?" The doctor asked, knowing that he was badly hurt; possibly dying at this point. He looks up at Mei, making direct eye contact with her. "Mei, I know you wanted to save me, but it might be too late at this point..."
He paused for a few moments. His breathing was getting steady.
"Mei, why don't you go save yourself and leave me behind? It's for the best since Fujisaki's trying to kill us..." He requested. It seems like the doctor wanted Mei to leave him behind and get to safety.

X stumbles across the room with more explosives to place at the weak spot in the wall. Her injury forces her spine to curl, but she laughs to herself and keeps moving regardless.

The doctor stopped to think about what X said before he let out a faint chuckle.
"Ha... It's strange, isn't it? I never really thought of myself having the same worth as the people that I had saved countless times." He said.

X hobbles away and hides while the detonation rocks the room again and blows open the path into the playroom. It really looks like she'll need help to make it in time, but she doesn't ask for help.
