If you're looking for smut just go on deviantart. That place is, like, the living embodiment of Rule 34.

I tried and while I do find some nice GhirahimxLink stuff, I do not find much smut for PrincexGui or LinkxAgitha or any other pairings I actually support. Okay, there is a lot of EdgeworthxPhoenix stuff, yes...

Nah it's not so surprising, Cat frequently goes on about how she likes a bit of Ghirahim and Link.

Though I don't think you can really assign a personality type to those who like yaoi anyway XD.

I'm guessing you are being sarcastic about that first bit, but yes. But I have to point out that, while I do enjoy certain Yaoi pairings, I still ship several hetero pairings. Although even I like to exaggerate at times and make fun of how two guys just looking at each other in disgust must actually mean that they totally wanna jump each other's love bone. I mostly do that when the franchise those two characters are in is really boring.

So, wait, are you calling GS boring?! Or is it another franchise you're talking about?

Anyways, when it comes to fetishes, I have a thing for Rule 63. It's the only reason I really want to see Demitri Maximov in the next Capcom Vs. game, just so I can genderbend people with his midnight bliss move.

I believe it's something along the lines of "for any given character, someone somewhere has created fan art of a gender-flipped version of said character."

Nah, other franchises. The gay supertext I see in GS seems canon to me, so it's not something that I add into my playing the game to have fun with it. I was more referring to games like... Persona 4, although that is pretty heavy on the gay subtext with Yosuke, and the male protagonist of Persona 3 because everybody in that game is so freaking boring, I have to make a joke about the protagonist's potential gayness to make myself laugh while playing that game.

On a hunch, I just looked up cat fur genetics. A lot of the cats at the shelter I volunteer at have black fur. The obvious conclusion would be that superstition is alive and well in my area, but I haven't exactly seen any evidence that that's the case. As I suspected, black fur is linked to a dominant allele.

People giving up cats because they are black and unlucky/unholy? Is that what you are thinking is the reason?

It's the first possibility that occurred to me, but I now find it more likely that it's a simple matter of genetics.

During my walk earlier today, I was almost hit by a car. I happened to be crossing the street at an intersection between a major road and a residential side road. A car was stopped at the intersection, the driver preparing to turn onto the major road. A little bit after I had started to pass in front of them, the car started moving. The driver appeared to realize he had almost hit a pedestrian shortly after I had gotten out of the way, stopping and looking in my direction. I held up my hand and hollered "I'm okay" to him, but he had the windows up, so I don't know if he heard me.

After the initial shock wore off, I started thinking about what had happened. Pedestrians aren't exactly common in my neighborhood, so I suspect the driver simply had never bothered to consider the possibility of one being there. Because he wasn't looking for pedestrians, he didn't notice me even when I was walking by right in front of him. It kind of worries me that I could end up making the same mistake one of these days.

Edit: I just noticed that this is the 1,337th post in this thread.

That is dumb. I would've maybe tried to remember the license plate. Heck, you were walking on the street by the time the driver was moving his vehicle, so technically you were absolutely in the right and he had to watch out for you. Yeah it takes two to tango, but if a pedestrian is walking across the street already and then the car starts to move, the car is the one that has to pay attention.

Part of me wishes something similar would happen to me, including getting run over a bit... it would bring in money.
I know, I'm weird that way.

Gah you're not one of those "Where there's a blame there's a claim" people are ya? Accidents happen at times, save the lawsuits for people who actually mean to harm you...y'know...unless you like lose a limb or a function as a result of an accident.

Was there a crossing or something you were using General?

It's lucky you were ok, being hit by a car is nothing fun, when I was hit my a car I kept thinking "Did it crush my foot, will I walk, did it crush my foot, will I walk" as I went down. Fortunately I was able to limp away from that one.

It wasn't marked by painted lines, but there was clearly a depression in the sidewalk on each side of the street. And for the record, Cat, I am fully aware that the driver is to blame for this incident. If he had actually hit me, I probably would have tried to get a look at the license plate. In the end, though, no one was hurt (though I imagine the driver and passengers were a little freaked out), so I didn't see any point in raising a stink over it. Besides, as far as I'm aware, you can't be prosecuted for a near miss here unless the near miss was the result of a traffic violation, such as running a stop sign.

You know, close calls happen every day. You were almost hit by a car, but Seth MacFarlane was almost on that plane that got hijacked and hit the WTC. We live in a world of over 7 billion people. It's completely normal for us to narrowly miss death at certain points. Chance has a huge part to play with it, but as long as you're careful and can react quickly to sudden change; I guarantee that you've already avoided 99% of potential dangers.

Graagh I got on a sci-fi rush today. Got my nexus 7 all hooked up with Utter! Which allows for a variety of voice activated commands and it was awesome. So I went on an got Tasker which is all about automating tasks and I thought I could hook this up with Utter for even more things. Then I found out that Tasker is seemingly very advanced programming and I think I'm lost at managing it to do what I want.

My husband ordered me the BluRay 1st Season set of Kuroshitsuji. He's looking forward to watching it with me, because I have been laying in his ears about Kuroshitsuji before, re-reading the manga up to now.

I'm about to re-read the Academy/School Arc of Kuroshitsuji, Mmhhhh Sebastian with glasses~
And I know I will snigger at any mention of "Fag" during that arc. I know it didn't mean homosexual back then, I know they don't mean cigarette despite being in England, but that it's what they call the Older-Younger Brother relationships in the school.
Similar to that other manga... but with girls... I forget what it's called...
But I will still laugh at it, because it is just displayed and used in ways that it just makes me think, "They are all gay! Fag is just a nice way to say boyfriend. Fag Time... stopping your Fag relationship = breaking up..."

Especially hilarious because my husband showed me a post that said that Ciel and Sebastian were supposed to be officially in love, and I think it's still pretty hinted at in the manga, but the idea was eventually scrapped... how dare you, Kuroshitsuji? Even if I support Hetero pairings in your manga.

XD Clever but I'm quite fond of little games shipping sites outside the megacorps of Amazon and Ebay. Shopto.net are fantastic but they tend to only really stock things that are new, granted at great prices, but if you miss it for timing or whatever they tend to stop stocking.

It's where I get the majority of my imported Japanese games from. It doesn't just have Japanese games, though, even US and Europe stuff. And it even has some really old stuff, but I am not so sure about the availability of it.

Hmm I'd always steered somewhat clear of it because I thought the items were all really...premium and Japanese only.
Like I'd see cool stuff and it'd be nice to browse and things, I think they had some awesome looking Monster Hunter leather jackets with sort of oriental-style drawings of monsters on them but they were like £300 before import costs.
