BREAKING BAD ENDS ITS RUN ON SUNDAY :larry: :beef:

Okay, I'm not sad at all, I respect Gilligan for ending the show at an appropriate point.
I'm just fucking anxious, particularly about who'll live/die - I hope Walter dies. No no, I hope that at least two or three important characters die. I love when characters die in an epic way.

Okay, guys, I have re-read this part from Kuroshitsuji about three times now and I just can't fully determine what is going on. It's during the Noah's Circus Arc of the manga, I don't know if it's in the Anime... if it is, is it a bit clearer what exactly is going on?

I guess... warning for "inappropriate" poses and hinted noise?

I'm not saying I'm dumb, it's just considering the talk about demons using sweet words and such to get their prey and their hands on souls happening earlier and Sebastian being pretty much so hungry for souls, I wonder... what is going on with him and Beast? For one, we have these two pages which seems to indicate an oncoming of nookey. And there's these three pages, although I'll be honest, I'm still wondering... is he doing her or devouring her soul? Or is that the same to a demon?

I mean, she is walking around and talking, so I'm not sure if he took her soul - although maybe he took a part of it? Maybe? I don't know the real workings of soul-devouring for demons. Or is she later simply feeling bad about the above moment? Although that could be seen as soul-devouring, her suddenly feeling like she doesn't want to think bad of him anymore...

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird to see Ciel Phantomhive depicted with blue hair in color images? Whenever I look at his grayscale manga appearance, it seems to me like he is supposed to be colored with auburnish hair...

Manga characters' hair is always a mystery. For example, Otomen:

Spoiler:

Is his hair grey, aqua, or pink??

I always thought Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket was a blonde... (I don't know how, the cover shows her with brown hair! But when I saw the anime, I was still surprised... :gumshoe:

I read Arina Tanemura several times, so I was quite used to brunettes being displayed with "white" hair in a manga. But when I see Ciel colored after seeing him several times like this in the manga... I'm just quite used to red hair being displayed with that, or a similar, screentone in grayscale.

Although I have a similar experience with Midori from Midori no Hibi. Even if her name is Midori, when I look at her in the manga with screentone on her hair, I think she's red haired. But according to canon, her hair is green.

By the way, I just have to point this out: What the hell is going on in that last panel to Sebastian!? Hahaha, I know he's being attacked but... that doesn't look like attacking him to me!

I've never really been a fan of anime or manga, mostly due to the fact that I was never exposed to it growing up, since for most of my life we only had 3 tv stations, plus I don't live near anywhere that sells manga.

That's too bad! Must live out in the country, then? Usually most bookstores do sell manga, even if it's only a few.

I dunno about America, but I do know that Barnes & Nobles has a manga section. I have Neo Tokyo in my city, although I haven't been there in years. And Hugendubel, a bookstore, also has a section on manga...

I became a fan of anime and manga mostly because of my friends... They've influenced me a lot. I rarely buy manga, the only full collection I have here is Death Note and most anime/manga fans I know only watch/read online.

I started with manga around the age of 11 or 12, I guess, but watched Sailor Moon before. While I have around 400 manga in my room, I rarely buy them these days. Lack of money and all. Mostly, I read online these days, because the time it takes for something I might get interested in to get published in Germany is pretty long. And I noticed that some Scanlation teams put more effort into making the edited pages look better than the professional publishers.

I know Scanlation teams generally have a "If you like our scanlated project, please support the creator by buying the original when it becomes available in your country" which I would... if the one I want is actually out the-... I must go look at Neo Tokyo if they have Black Butler!! Well I know that they have the DVDs, but the manga itself? Haven't seen it yet...

But as I said, most of the time the publishing takes so long, I generally am much further via the scanlation than the publishing. Or by that time the interest in the manga is already gone. I love Skip Beat! and I still read the scanlations. I have the first 12 volumes, but I just stopped buying them because I lacked money and, by now, the scanlation is SO MUCH FURTHER, I see no point in buying the other almost 20 volumes I haven't gotten yet.

Publishers here abuse a lot on manga prices... One single volume is around 10,90 BRL. Many manga I like have endlessly volumes, if I actually buy all of it, I'll end up homeless.

I remember one manga volume either costing 5€ or 6,50€ - it depended on the series and/or the publisher I suppose. I think there were also some that cost about 7€ but I think that was the highest for a "standard" manga volume. Some manga that were, like, bigger in size and not the pocket-handbook format would cost around 12€

By the way, I know I mentioned Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji a few times by now... but I am trying very hard to avoid any spoilers. I'm not even going to check Wikipedia to see who voices who in the anime! And that's something I do quite frequently. Although I think I saw something spoilery... a blond kid with a dark haired butler... I know nothing about them, except that they die* but I do think they are the "rivals" of Ciel and Sebastian.

* I would think those deaths are permanent but... considering the rival part, I am unsure. Plus, even Sebastian "died" once up to the point where I read, so I am a bit iffy about the whole death thing in the manga.

I'm watching House MD and I just need to say it: Eric Foreman is absolutely my favourite character, mainly because he's the only one who has the guts to confront House and disagree with him. Being a doctor brings HUGE responsibilities and House is quite immature when dealing with this fact.

Yeah Foreman is neat, he has his good moments. I'm currently watching the Seasons 8 episodes I missed last time, especially the last episode, and my current problem with Foreman is him getting into an affair with a married woman. Then again, I wouldn't care who does that, I'd still hate it.

But I like House. He's just such a dick. Although I thought there was an unspoken rule of not hitting the crippled ones, even when they are jerks...

Well actually the one who has the most guts and is able to tame House the most in my opinion was Dr Wilson which was my favorite character in the whole series. Plus I also enjoyed there funny dynamic moments they had together.

Yeah... as mentioned, I didn't watch the last episode of the series, but I read online what happened. This was before I knew that Season 8 was having a re-run soon. And considering what House does and how it has an effect on Wilson, it just makes me think that those two have a real friendship going on.
Despite the obviously put in homosexual jokes at times.

So I went to Neo Tokyo today and they did have Black Butler~ But I didn't buy any of the volumes. They had volume 1 until 10, but since those are parts I already read recently... and in Germany, it's out at up to volume 14 right now. When I saw volume 14 in a different store, I checked where it was - and it was the Campania Ship Arc. Yeah, since it wasn't the Fag School Arc, I didn't get it. Especially since I re-read it... wonder how they'll call Fag... or what it was called originally.

Speaking of, I looked at the synopsis for the latest Manga Love Story volume. I stopped reading it around volume 35 because it felt like the quality and text had resorted to full-on Porn descriptions... and it bugs me like hell that they are making Yura seem sex-obsessed now and Makoto is already a whiner for not getting sex 24/7... although where's the fun if you're having so much sex to have a kid.

Anyway! I read the synopsis and something that confused me was this: "And we find out what to look out for, when having sex in a car." Which is really weird because... Yura and Makoto already had sex in a car, like, 45 volumes before this one - and this was the 54th volume. We already know what we have to look out for. That early chapter where they did it in a car pointed out to not touch the horn when doing it in the front seat, how the seats can be pushed back to give more room or just do it in the backseat to begin with.

Although why anyone would want to fuck in a car is beyond me. It's cramped, uncomfortable and that really takes some of the enjoyment out. If you are too cheap to put yourself into a (love) hotel to fuck, go home and fuck there. No need to use your car for it.

You dont need to watch the last episode of the series to know the relationship between House and Wilson. You mostly see it throughout the whole series in general, but yeah you could tell how both characters who have a real friendship who fend off of eachother.

I know. I just meant that what House did for Wilson in the last episode just really showed how far they would go for each other. I mean, Wilson already put up with a ton of crap on House's side, but they still come through for each other. Just the last episode seemed to show a huge step that most people would not take for a friend.

Well House was a bit boring in Seasons 6 when he wasn't on Vicodin. And that whole thing HousexCuddy relationship thing going on in Season 7 was pretty boring, too. I'm not one that enjoys the permanent sexual tension going on between two characters, to be honest, I find it very boring very fast. But House and Cuddy becoming a couple in Season 7 just felt like they put it in to appease any HousexCuddy fans.

that was probably the case but during the whole show i believe they were slowly building up the whole HousexCuddy scenario in the case is where they can hate and argue with eachother but know deep down they care for eachother. Honestly though i cant say it got boring since i never finished the series but i know i stopped at the season where House was sent to jail.

Only time I ever drank coffee was during a school ralley where we had to drink something and figure out via taste what was in the cup. I recognized coffee, milk - although mostly by color, and the rest I forget because it was so long ago.

Otherwise, I don't drink coffee. Smells nice, but I just don't like the taste.

Never really like coffee. I hate the sour taste it leaves in your mouth and the over all texture of it. Probally also because like energy drinks it makes me feel sleepy and not energized which I know is very weird

When I drink tea, I drink it completely unsweetened. Apparently this is better and, to be honest, it tastes quite nice. I mostly drink a multivitamin or a fruit-flavored one. Actually, I haven't tasted the cinnamon-anis tea unsweetened yet.

And now to get the topic back to raunchiness.
I just input Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler into gelbooru and the 2nd Image I got? Ciel as a catboy in the nude on a bed. Absolutely makes sense and I can't say I'm surprised to see that. And, of course, the first page I already see several dirty Sebastian-Ciel pictures... even Sebastian-Crossdressing!Ciel ones. Again, not a surprise, considering they were supposed to be seen and originally thought to be lovers.

I drink my tea without sweeteners as well. IMO, that's the REAL way on how to have it. I mostly prefer the Chinese varieties.

I used to have lavender honey in my tea (earl gray ftw!), but I had to live without it for a while, and then I had it again and it was too sweet :lana:

One time I drank 12 cups of coffee with those white chocolate chips in each cup, and I couldn't stop shaking. I don't put anything in my coffee, and when I do it's more coffee...I like coffee, can you tell?
(Instead of stunting my growth, I seem to be getting taller) :lana:
