That's why automotive window films should always be dark.

So how can police order someone to stop making out in a car?

Oh with that I wasn't referring to it happening in Germany.
It's just that very often in TV or Movies or even books, usually America based, a couple is making out in a car and then a policeman comes up, taps the window and tells them to knock it off and drive off. For what reason? I don't see a reason for it.

Like I said, I think a car is a closed off area that isn't public - unless it's, like, a convertible with the top down - so there is no real reason or any right to stop people from making out in cars. Or even screwing in cars. Technically, the policeman would be the one intruding in a private place. But nope. It's always a policeman coming up, saying they need to move the car along.

In my opinion, having sex in a car should be allowed, as long as people can't see into the car. People don't want to see you fuck! Now making out, I don't get, as I've seen people making out in a freakin' KFC and nobody said anything.

EDIT: Also, don't trust what you see in movies. A lot of the stuff you see in them would never happen in real life.

I can't understand why some people are bothered by PDA... Okay, someone is making out, so? Whatever, just look at somewhere else. You don't have the right to not feel uncomfortable or not being exposed to things you don't like.

I don't have anything against some PDA. Like giving your lover a kiss or two, a hug or something in public, that's fine. Walk around with your hand on their ass, fine, if the other party is okay with that, I have nothing against that. But it just bugs me when they start those teeny tiny little kisses five, six, seven times...! Not to mention making out, that is just disgusting. If you really need to get something off your chest through the making out, go into a love hotel. Germany has those, I think there is one - like - 20 minutes away from my house, unless they closed by now.

And looking away doesn't help. Cause you still hear it. Ughack, hearing someone making out is disgusting, although that may just be me with my trauma talking. As said, some PDA is okay, just... don't overdo it.

Hate to bring this up, but the Twilight movie with the wedding. You may kiss the bride, they start practically making out, groping each other and panting. DUDE! CALM, THE FUCK, DOWN!

I personally couldn't care less if someone is making out. And I never heard the noises of someone making out in public places because, well... most public places are noisy. Some PDAs can be visually unpleasant but that's about it -- it won't affect my life in any way, so whatever, let it be.
Trauma talking... Elaborate?

I can't discuss Twilight rationally because I don't take it seriously neither as a movie nor as a book. It's the worst of the worst, it makes me want to drop a bomb on every 13-year-old girl in this country. Who allowed this woman to write a book mixing brutal creatures such as vampires with romantic teen shit? C'mon, the guy sparkle. The guy SHINE, the vampire FUCKING S-P-A-R-K-L-E in the sun.

There's a pretty high chance that I have repressed sexual childhood trauma.

And I just think there is a pretty low limit for what is an "acceptable" PDA, doesn't matter if I can hear it or can't because I have my headphones in. I mean, making out in public gets pretty close to unacceptable, I mean it's like they're ready to fuck each other in public. And THAT is more than just a PDA...

"Public Display of Affection."

Or if you're talking about the obsolete electronic device:

"Personal Digital Assistant."

It's happened again. Somebody thinks I'm being rude when my comments are meant to be funny - yeah they can be seen as rude-funny, but they are still meant funny. What the fuck, do I need to put MY COMMENTS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SEEN AS JOKES into my signature?

Jeez...! And even going so far as to block me. What a coward's way out, blocking someone to avoid any further confrontation. Pussy! Total pussy!

The only way to win is not to play.

I'd say this man was smart to block ya, he doesn't need to care and you are clearly furious.

Though why don't you lay down some context on this, what did you say and where.

You gotta think about it Intelligently. You can't show weakness when arguing with someone by showing anger, you gotta be calm and calculating and argue back in a way that sounds intelligent.

Sometimes it's hard to tell when someone is just messing with you rather than being legitimately rude. I understand why you're annoyed, Cat, but judging by your post, even though you might not have meant any harm, you ended up offending someone.

On deviantART, I was looking through Kuroshitsuji stuff and came across this person uploading screenshots of roleplay-facebook stuff, ie. people making facebook accounts named after the Kuroshitsuji characters and posting stuff.

On a particular one, it showed Alois Trancy posting a "Ghetto Word of the Day" thing and it was a really bad pun put into an example sentence. I forget what the pun was. But it was so bad, my comment basically said I did/would slap Alois for making that bad pun. Ie. slapstick kind of slapping.

Cause it was a bad pun. Not the so-bad-it's-funny pun, just plain bad. I have a pretty high tolerance for puns, my mother spouts them all the time. But that one was just bad...

Then I got called out about slapping that person.
Although I pointed out it was a figurative slapping.
Then the other goes off on a tangent that my comment was still incredibly rude and that I should be ashamed of myself for writing that, because there was "enough hate in the world already" and stuff like that.
That's when I got blocked.

Although I was gonna point out that I had slapped a fictional person that doesn't exist and that, just because I slap the fictional character, does not mean that I would slap the person role-playing said character.
Plus, I pointed out that by putting this stuff up on the site, with a comment function enabled, they were fully aware of the "risk" of getting negative comments. And why even bother making that much of a fuss over one "rude" comment?

You mean technically insulting them while sounding polite?
Although my mother has raised me to not use physical violence, but rather use words to fight my battles and remain argumentative, I have to say I get a bit tired of that way of doing things at times... I do think some people deserve a good slap. But I don't hit people in real life.

You could be less confrontational so that there's less battles, physical or verbal or otherwise.

Though should just chill out and forget about this, like you said to them why post online if you aren't prepared to hear negative things? We can't get furious at the slightest thing, if they don't want your company and block you just head elsewhere, no point losing sleep over them.

pretty much. If you sound polite which insulting or even arguing with someone it just makes you sound a lot smarter while making your point across and not showing your anger which fuels the other person.

Not really because your not really showing your a idiot, your just making your point across by not acting or sounding like a juvenile idiot and without the use of immature shouting or using foul words.

No but you are putting on feigned intelligence for the purposes of trying to insult someone in the hope they are foolish enough not to understand when they are being insulted by a condescending prick.

Nobody is saying it has to be feigned, a better should be intelligent enough to know that being a condescending prick is basically being the type of person who thinks they can solve a issue by arguing or making their point across by sounding stupid and like a Brute. Also Im not saying to sound intelligent just to belittle a person but you should be intelligent enough to show someone that a problem can be solved by talking calmly about it.

You were suggesting just 'sound' intelligent and calculating in order to seem smarter while insulting people.

Calculating is not always a positive adjective in my eyes.

I didn't get angry until I got blocked - which is the coward's way out for me, because they are basically avoiding any potentially future arguments. I quite honestly and calmly pointed out that I was not actually insulting, or trying to insult, anyone with my comment.
I may have sounded frustrated, though.

Right? I actually told them, why put so much focus on my comment. It's one bad comment in a sea of good comments, even if majority of those are just things like "LOL" or "OmG this is hilarious!" and similar. Heck if I got a comment like mine which was supposedly rude, I'd either laugh at it or ignore it.

But I am known to find things hilarious that other think is over the top. I laugh at racist jokes, sexual jokes, jokes about handicapped people, I just have a pretty dark sense of humor at times. So I guess I can see why people think my comments are rude... but that was really not rude.
Oh well.

So, update on the Black Crusade game I'm in with the best thing that happened tonight:

The psyker shot with his psychic bullets lots, and tore a hole in the Warp, which then caused both me and another player to gain enough corruption for a mutation. We both rolled the best mutation possible - Winged, which is exactly what it sounds like. Can fly with double our agility bonus, so of course we both put agility up to the next bonus level. Since we got to have whatever design we wanted, he has butterfly-styled wings with eyes on them, whereas I have massive leather bat-like wings with circuitry and metal parts running all through them.

Then, I proceeded to use my newly-acquired sniping skills to perfectly headshot three enemies in a row, killing them all in one shot each, because the Long-Las is the best Las weapon.

Then over the course of the combat, the psyker became even more mutated and so did our talky guy, who can now be really, REALLY convincing.

Ooh, and I looted three cybernetic left legs, and some head implants. The left legs are only as good as natural ones, though, so I'm gonna look for better ones (as well as the right legs to go with them).

Oh, and I may have, when jacking into the base security, caught a virus, but I did so well on all subsequent tech-use tests that it went just fine for the time being, and we'll soon have a proper layout of the base and all its contents, as opposed to the basic plan and battle plans I tore from someone's memory unit a-la Ghost in the Shell.

Yeah, Black Crusade is fun. Did I mention we're riding around in a 1.5-kilometre long, Daemon spaceship?

There's a reason I didn't use any of the codes my husband gave me for a Xbox LIVE Gold Membership: I keep forgetting that I have one! I used the code for a 3 Month Gold Membership around September, because my DoA Online Pass was gonna run out soon and I wanted to grab some DLC Outfits.

It's now getting close to November and I only remembered a few days ago that I have Gold Membership right now.

I will never understand DLC outfits...

Of course, I'm guilty of wanting DLC outfits (Lightning as Cloud Strife? Yus.) even though I don't have the game (XBOX360 and PS3 only?!) and, yes, I am on a tangent about Final Fantasy, I've been playing through VII and I just got VIII and Chrono Cross on Friday, so...yeah, this turned from DLC costumes to Final Fantasy...how's your day going?

Well it depends on the game... In XIII-2 I needed a DLC Outfit for Sera cause her default outfit made no freaking sense to me. Looking up her skirt - or just some scenes in the game - show that she wears black spandex shorts underneath the mini-dress she's wearing. But look at the mini-dress: there are giant, oval holes over her hips where we see nothing but skin. Either those shorts are weirdly cut or she painted them on.
In DoA, I looked at the DLC first. I bought the bathing suits because, as with the other outfits and aside from Ms Fanservices Tina, Lisa and Christie, the bathing suits were mostly pretty modest or just plain cute ones. Plus, trunks for the guys? Yes, please! *click* 'cept for Jann and his... speedo... But I also got some other clothes because they just looked nice. Heck, I'm gonna get the Fighter Package because I find it atrocious that Hayate only has four outfits and none of them has him topless. Hayate topless DLC outfit? Yes, please! *click*

I don't think I'll get the Lightning in Cloud's outfit for Lightning Returns. Mostly because I don't like Cloud's outfit very much, I'd rather have it be Zack's. There were subtle differences to Cloud's but the fact was, there were differences. If the Aerith outfit is a DLC, I goddamnwell will get it - although the way I understand it, the Japanese version's way of getting it is by having a code in a magazine that comes out the same day as LR itself...

Day was okay... I finished playing Link to the Past and my opinion on it is the same as before: Good game, but not one that I'd call great. Not even the great Zelda game of the SNES.

Well, I would get Lightning returns, but consider the newest device in my household is a Nexus 7, and the newest console being a Wii, I don't think I'll be getting it, and the fact it won't be on the PC is complete and utter crap, they owe us, because the last core FF game on pc was FF8. Do you have any good RPG recommendations for pc that can run on anything?

Also, are you on steam?

The PC 'master race' already has enough benefits to do with, they ain't owed anything really though I do think it's weird they didn't release big next gen FF13 on PC as well but eh, guess they want to stay console-focused.

I didn't even know there were FF games on PC except for VII... which I know a lot of people have modded the crap out of it, to make the music sound better and alter a ton of other stuff.

And this may sound strange, but I do not think a used PS3 would cost all that much... I think I got my used one for 99€? And I know I got my 360 Arcade, with 60 MB, for 90€ a few years back. It works fine, although I did have to get a Harddrive on the side for DLC like in XIII-2... that's the sole reason I got the harddrive, although I may have to save on that cause the internal one is getting full.

But RPGs on the PC...?
I don't know any... on PC, I only play MMO or Sims 3 stuff. When I'm not playing one of my emulators, which are generally for games that are hard to get these days or I use it as a test-player to see if a game is worth buying.
