I didn't even know there were FF games on PC except for VII... which I know a lot of people have modded the crap out of it, to make the music sound better and alter a ton of other stuff.

And this may sound strange, but I do not think a used PS3 would cost all that much... I think I got my used one for 99€? And I know I got my 360 Arcade, with 60 MB, for 90€ a few years back. It works fine, although I did have to get a Harddrive on the side for DLC like in XIII-2... that's the sole reason I got the harddrive, although I may have to save on that cause the internal one is getting full.

But RPGs on the PC...?
I don't know any... on PC, I only play MMO or Sims 3 stuff. When I'm not playing one of my emulators, which are generally for games that are hard to get these days or I use it as a test-player to see if a game is worth buying.

8 was on pc as well.

Well, the price of a PS3 is kind of a problem (No Job=No $), but another thing, it's convincing my mother that I can actually get one, because her response is "I don't want another device in this house we need to buy games for", so if you want to mail me one, be my guest, but I can't buy one, I'd love to though...

EDIT: Woah, just checked the price of a PS3, 200 bucks?! :beef:

I know the problem of No Job No Money, I have like 5 things I want to buy this instant, but I have no money for it. As for games on the PS3, well there is XIII, XIII-2 if you really feel like you think you need to play the sequel to understand what is going on when you get LR (although, like, two major things happen and that can be said in two sentences)... I personally got Rune Factory Oceans for the PS3 as it didn't have much of a lag issue... and those are my only PS3 games. (Well XIII-2 is on the 360...)
I would say get Sonic Generations if you enjoy it, I saw footage of it and it seemed fun. Otherwise I can't think of any PS3 games, although my taste is limited... I guess if you like the new Tales Of games there's Graces f and Xillia to buy...

Well, not only for FF but for Uncharted, Kingdom Hearts, um...uh...thats it. But by the time I can eventually get one, it'll be dead...

Oh, a question for everyone, how much would you pay for one of these? Now, this is a prototype, but the finished ones will be similar.

I recently learned that one of the cats at the shelter I had grown fond of has been adopted. As someone whose role at the shelter is to socialize with the cats there and keep their stress levels down, adoption is always a bittersweet thing for me. The cat being adopted means she's (hopefully) found a good home and won't be stuck in that small room at the shelter anymore, but it also means I'm unlikely to ever have the pleasure of petting her again. If anyone on this forum recently adopted a beautiful black cat named Ally, please cherish her; she's a real sweetie.

Working at a shelter? Seems a great thing to do. Recently, my grandmother's cat died right after she gave birth, the kittens are orphans and they don't even have two months. Fortunately, they're doing well with the vet recommendations and some special milk. There is nothing more enjoyable than taking care of cats.. I always had cats and I feel incomplete without one in home. Btw, are you a vet or something?

Had a panic attack today. I was almost forgetting how bad it is. Man, I'm so damn stressed, I have a two-day exam next weekend, never felt such a pressure in my life...

No, I'm just a volunteer. Shelter life is quite stressful, which is bad for the animals' health. My role is to help reduce their stress by playing with them, petting them, basically just being there for them when they want human companionship and leaving them alone when they want to be left alone. I'm also only allowed to socialize with the cats that are actually up for adoption; many others need to undergo medical treatment and behavioral therapy first to make sure they're sufficiently healthy and unlikely to harm anyone, and that kind of thing is left to the professionals. I feel I also help "advertise" the cats on the adoption floor. If someone is walking through the area and sees a cat playing with a toy or curled up on my lap, they'll probably be more interested in adopting said cat.

Oh my God, aren't they terrible? I managed to mostly get small ones lately but when a bigger one hits me...

I don't know much about shelter life, but I am watching a guy who is fostering cats - mostly mom cats shortly after giving birth. We get to see the kittens and all, growing up for about two months and then they are up for adoption. It's nice to see, although from his history, it seems he had some foster kittens once without a mom. Had to give them to somebody else to foster since he works and kittens without a mom need practically 24 hour attention at first...

I get panic attacks a lot too, especially recently. Fortunately I'm pretty good at brushing them off, but they do feel really horrible. A couple of times I've felt like I was going to pass out. :sadshoe:

So like, I just took a quiz on how some of the Kuroshitsuji characters would react to me. Of course, once again, several of the options in that quiz didn't seem to apply to me at all, but I went with what they had. And apparently, they'd react rather indifferently... with 67% of the quiz telling me that I would be demonically charming.

At least they didn't seem me as a Crybaby or an Innocent.

Yeah, a strong panic attack is probably one of the worst experiences someone can have during a lifetime. I think I'm a real pro in panic attacks now since I know how to avoid them 90% of times and they don't affect so much my academic and social life. However, being anxious can be a real pain in the ass when you're in certain locations, for example, in the bus.

Yay, for the first time of my life I'm making money. I'm helping some junior students with learning difficulties in chemistry and physics... It's a really pleasurable experience. I can spend the whole day flirting with hydrocarbons.

I'm actually pretty good at dealing with panic attacks when they come on. When I first got one, I was pretty frightened, since it felt like I was going to pass out. Now though, they just feel really horrible, and sometimes I get them at night and can't sleep because of it. (I guess it is a good excuse to stay up late and watch Youtube videos, though. :yuusaku: )

Yeah the first ones are the worst. When I had my first panic attack I was frightened as hell, it took me months or one year to learn how to deal with it. I have sometimes during the night too, but listening to some relaxing music or doing breathing exercises usually are enough to calm me down (and as you said, the internet too :edgy: ). I don't think I'll ever be totally rid of them in my lifetime.

I'm glad she's fine. However, you should go back to the vet again ASAP and try to understand what happened/find the root of the problem, because there's no guarantee that it won't happen again.

I asked about her breed because some breeds have a bigger tendency to develop kidney problems, like persian cats. But it doesn't seem to be the case here.

Well if she's panting and not meowing, it could have several reasons. One thing could be that she was playing until she lay down and that wore her out. Our cats do pant somewhat after chasing the laser dot around for a bit.
How old is she? It could be a heartmurmur, although depending on her age they may have found that earlier... or it was simply a warm day and she zonked out?

Well, let's see:
She doesn't run around, she's around 15.
Warm day, in Washington? I wish.

But everything is fine now. It's almost like it never happen.

Ah, love the position I've got myself in in Deathwatch for the next session. A series of events have now led me to be standing with blood pouring down behind me, a claymore drawn and ready for mortal kombat combat, facing nobs in mega armour with power claws.

This, after cutting off the warboss mid-monologue with lightning to his chest (which fizzled away due to his forcefield, but still), then almost getting shot out of a cannon.

Ah, space marines.

*coughhacksplutter* ZSNES *coughcough*
I used that emulator for VI and V originally and I still do, mostly because I had to throw away my brother's old SNES and I guess VI and V would cost a fortune to buy physically. You can even get IV and I think III on the ZSNES, but I never played those.
V is a good game, it has a more goofy side of an FF story. And VI is just amazing. I will take Rachel's scene over Aerith's any day. There I actually get teary-eyed. Only downside I can think of about VI - aside from the localized version which has Pubs be Cafés and such - is the leveling system with the Magicite. I never really got it as a kid, I sort of get it now but I might still make mistakes.

Haha, I was the same way.

Of course, I was playing on Monday and I'd finally gotten a Chocobo(spoilers, there are Chocobo in this game) and then my game crashed, hrumph.

Not world, but rather this forum.

You also gotta filter out, that most of the active people are still around, since they moved on and prepared for the new game.
