The 2DS ain't that much bull, IMO.

If I hadn't a 3DS XL already, I MAY have considered to get one, as they are fairly cheap.
I also like, that they do not seem that fragile. (Got my DS and DS Lite busted, since the connecting-thingys broke after a while.)

I hear the 2DS might not be compatible with alot of third party games

I just realized that Another Code is impossible because you have to close the ds to print on the wood...I think.

Thats the unfortunate part that 3rd party games aren't taken more priority on.

Talking about printing...
I just remembered when I played Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, there was a similar puzzle in the big time temple with the knights.
I was there for 2 hours, until I, pissed of, shut my DS and BAM!

On the one hand, I was shocked and surprised, on the other hand really happy to be able to move on in the game.

Yeah in the beginning of VII, Cloud was more... well, he was like Squall. The emotionless, kinda dick-face who is all, "I care about nothing because I only do my job as a mercenary. Whatever." And to be honest, I stopped playing the game some time after starting Disc 2... so while I stopped before he goes catatonic and emo, but then apparently gets better, I can't say he felt that much better in any of the other appearances.

Actually, in Crisis Core, he's not that emo. He's actually... cute! He smiles, he laughs, he has a weakness, but doesn't act like he's overly hung up over not having made it into SOLDIER and all that stuff. I think that's the only incarnation of Cloud that I actually like.

By the way, I bought some black nail polish today - we only had sparkly black nail polish and I wanted a solid black one. I haven't had polished nails for months...!

I dunno he came off a bit hung up I felt. I kinda sorta thought that's why he came across as so shy and frail, because his confidence had been shaken from the failure of his dream. Though yeah I agree I thought Cloud's portrayal in Crisis Core seemed...right.

Hey it's not Downloadable until like...4 or 2PM today it won't seem so bad.

Besides this should be a happy occasion. Just think back on how some of us thought this wouldn't exist? The folks who thought Phoenix was joking when he was talking about retaking the bar exam at the end of Apollo Justice.

I know I sure was thinking it mighta been the end of AA a while back. Then little things came by, Phoenix in UMVC3 for some...baffling reason. PW and Layton, little hints and mentions here. At one point I think rumours floated around about it being officially cancelled. Yet now it's the eve before AA5 and it's going to be a wondrous thing.

Aw what? This is a thread now? Back in 2009, threads like this were immediately terminated! I got in so much trouble for participating in this kind of stuff. ;___;

The free spirit in me has since died and been replaced by a bitter shell of a shell of a boy of a man.

...I don't have much to talk about. Just continuing being in college and shifting between being content and manically depressed. Life is half-good. And yet this feels so much the same as like my early high school days of being unsavvy to everything on the internet...

So much has changed since you were last here (well only moderately). Mods are okay with this thread since others were being flooded with off-topic discussions, and to prevent spam from taking over we had to create a safe haven for it.

Edit: Am I JUST noticing this banner change we've got going on. When'd that happen?!

Uh... my geography sucks, but I'm in Germany. Is that East of the Atlantic? And I don't think I'm gonna get Dual Destinies... it just doesn't appeal to me. I may get it eventually, but that may be months or even years from now.

Well I was thinking of getting a new PSP since mine is starting to be a little bitch when I turn it on...

And Pierre, how can Cloud in the beginning of the game seem in any way shy, frail or even insecure? Remember, at that point he was using his persona thingy, he acted like he thought a 1st SOLDIER did. Never mind what it really was, he acted like a big-ass-important-dick.

XD Funny how you like Lightning so much then, despite people on the character designer team being told they were told to make a female rendition of Cloud Strife and them sharing a lot of similar traits with SOLDIER!Cloud.

Though really sorry I mean in the beginning as in chronologically first. He seemed a bit insecure in Crisis Core.

I don't like Lightning because she's basically Cloud-with-boobs, along with some Squall traits like the gunblade and no-nonesense attitude. I like Lightning because I find her to be a pretty realistic and relateable characters, considering her actions and family background.

But then, that relateable part I can say about practically any of the XIII cast, except... maybe for Snow... I just understand that guy's way of thinking...

I was looking at some wallets on Amazon and found a nice black one with the Phantomhive Emblem on it. I looks nice, but I can't quite tell if it has slots for like my insurance card, EC card and MVV ticket, but also is long enough to hold larger bills. Oh AND has a pocket for coins, cause apparently American wallets don't have those.

Anyway, what I found funny was that under the "Recommended Age to Use this" section, it suggested to be at least 11 years old. Seriously? You have to be 11 years old to use a wallet?

Hah, my mom wouldn't trust me with my own wallet until I was 15. Then again, she also would never let me leave the house and walk around in the backyard without her supervision until I was 13, and still doesn't trust me with a credit card even though I am now 18. Maybe its just my mom that's overprotective, I dunno.

I sort of agree?
What I have read of other peoples, they say this: "The first case was okay. Case 2 and 3 are just plain mega-weird."
I don't think I'll be getting or playing GS5 any time soon. Mostly because unless they made the judge and every other character in the game somewhat more intelligent, I know that the law system will just make me smack my head against my hand again.

Oh and courtesy of VGR, pointing out this innuendo for me.
It's nice to know that GS5 hasn't changed those. If I play GS5, I know that I'll at least have my typical "See everything as a gay subtext" way of playing games to make them more fun is gonna be very easy.

That's a shame but eh I think playing it in moderation is the way to go as it is. Spread it out a bit. When I got Apollo Justice I beat it in one weekend.

Fortunately I got other games to distract me, still when is that DLC case for DD due out?

I don't think I'll be getting or playing GS5 any time soon. Mostly because unless they made the judge and every other character in the game somewhat more intelligent, I know that the law system will just make me smack my head against my hand again.

Oh and courtesy of VGR, pointing out this innuendo for me.
It's nice to know that GS5 hasn't changed those. If I play GS5, I know that I'll at least have my typical "See everything as a gay subtext" way of playing games to make them more fun is gonna be very easy.

I probably won't play GS5 in the next weeks, either. There is a great amount of 3DS games that appeal to me way more than GS5 does and I like to focus on a single game per time. I'm slightly curious about Edgeworth's characterization, but that's it. Athena's very existence already annoys me, it gives the impression that Capcom can't create female adult characters anymore.

And ah, yes, with luck Blackquill will be a great source of yaoi.

Just finished my exam week. I deserve some rest and games now. I'm not very excited about Dual Destinies though, the more I know about the game the smaller is my desire to play it.

That's a shame but eh I think playing it in moderation is the way to go as it is. Spread it out a bit. When I got Apollo Justice I beat it in one weekend.

Sadly moderation is a word that doesn't seem to exist in my world. When I try to play moderately or just a bit each week I end up totally forgetting the game's existence.

Same thing here; when I first played Ghost Trick, I beat it in three days, then only picked it up again once. That's the only problem I have with visual novels like that and GS, there's next to no replay value.

Beautiful coincidence!
