"I agree with Adriana," Helios said, "I can't justify destroying this evidence. I don't really know much about who this woman really was...but she must have had a family. People who cared about her... Mr. Bianchi has weaseled his way out of numerous accusations in the past. In fact, I was set to defend him once, if I recall, but the case never even got to trial. If we burn this body, he'll just get away with everything."

"As for Violet, look I'll be honest..." He continued grimly. "Yeah, he has children. But does that really make a difference? I'm sure the people that died because of what he's done had children too. Besides, it's not like she'd be alone. I'm sure there are people here who could help her and the rest of her family."

Helios nods at Ghost's remark and added, "Besides, if it somehow makes it any better, he could still conceivably get off easy considering his track record. All we're doing by burning the body is becoming complicit in organized crime and covering up a murder."

Teddy stared at Helios incredulously. “Nina was investigating both of us, you dumbass. If this body is found, do you really think the feds will stop at me?”

He sighed and kicked the ground. “The world is fucked up. It’s nothing but people with power screwing over the little guy, whether they have that power cuz they got their hands a bit dirty, or they’re a massive corporation with all the money in the world, or they tricked the masses into thinking they’re justified cuz they call themselves the government.”

Teddy gave a weak smile. “I can’t justify the things I’ve done. I didn’t like doing them... but I wanted to get ahead, and I did them all the same. It may not be any worse than what the other big dogs do, but... that doesn’t make it right.

“If it’s the end of the line, it’s the end of the line. ...it’d still feel pretty fucking bad if the thing that got me after all these years was something I didn’t personally do or even order, though.

“...Of course, I’m still voting to burn that fucking thing.”

"That's kind of my point. I want to know where she came from, and Helios is the closest one to her, so he should know, or Null should know. I guess it's definitely possible that the leader could hijack her, so the leader would have a reason to send in Adriana, but I don't know how the leader would know to replace her when you had only just killed her."

Teddy stared at the ground for a long moment, then started to speak. “Adriana—er, Nina was caught trying to snoop on me and Helios’s meeting yesterday. We weren’t actually there—she was following one of my boys, but he noticed her and led her somewhere else. He thought she was just Helios’s campaign manager whose curiosity led her someplace she should’ve stayed out of, but then he found the badge on her... They already had the body in a trunk, I told ‘em to bury the body as far and as rural as they could make it. And that’s all I did or knew about this mess.”

My guess is 10 years-- might be more or less depending on what, exactly, they can prove or what charges get added in from who they can flip.
