She dramatically leaned backwards like she was shot, yelling something about being ambushed, before grabbing one of those latex gloves, pulling it like a rubber band, and letting it loose blindly.
Thankfully, it wasn't nearly as deadly as an actual rubber band. At most it'd give someone the feeling they'd been half-heartedly slapped.

He shook his head in dismay. "Why are all you people even in here? I just needed a trash can!" He raised the apple core in his hand and stared at it, then looks towards the trash can in the far corner of the room. He nodded to himself. Yeah, he could probably make it.
He hurled the apple core towards the trash can.
