"On this topic, we're assuming the killer started to set up their plan at around 3pm." Dale said. "As that's when they opened the window to bring the tubing through. However, setting up all of the trap required opening the poker door to place the bamboo, and the spear inside it, into the padding. What was Terry doing during all this? Was he already knocked out? But... if he was already knocked out, who kept leaving the bags of wood waste outside for Momo and Sachiko to pick up? If that was also the killer, then that means the killer was inside for a pretty long time. I'm not sure anyone's alibi allows for that."

Momo and Sachi were with each other at around 3 but they both lost track of one another several times, and neither have an alibi at 6. Dale and Shirly have really good alibis but both were briefly alone during the most important times of the case..."

"C'mon guys let's stay focused! I'm sure it ain't so tough, dammit! Wait a second! Dale and Shirly! Did you guys both see Penny in the café? Because I think the killer had to have brought her to the poker room, but if you guys were together since you guys saw her, that means neither of you guys coulda brought her to the poker room!"

"Isn't that right!? Doesn't that solidify your guys' alibi?!"

After hearing Dale, Casey nods.

"I mean Terry wouldn't've heard anyone come in from that door since it's padded, but I don't think the killer would risk leaving the spear in the door without first making sure Terry was out cold, so when they set up the machine they must've taken Terry out. I still think the folks who were on their own could've pulled that off."

The fact that it is missing very strongly indicates that the killer was in the poker room to retrieve it after the murder, and they would have had very little time to dispose of it before risking a witness entering."

"I do not believe the hose could be pulled free from the compressor end without risking it snapping back and causing great harm to whomever pulled it. In addition, if the killer was hiding there, how would they know the trap had been sprung? Recall Lord Valler only barely heard the scream from the adjacent room, and Lord S likely only heard it due to the vent; Lady Cahill did not claim to hear it and the killer would have been not only even further away, but next to the noisy compressor."
