Still, it's likely he wasn't actually killed with it, so he had to have gone another way instead. Though he did pass on when he was inside the chamber, I suppose. The box trap also seems to make sense, though that leads us nowhere in terms of potential suspects."

"I'll make it up to you somehow..! On my word as a swordsman! And uh...I can start by thinking about stuff...hmm, so...uh..."
Tapping his foot impatiently, he began to ruffle roughly through his own hair.
"Aw man, I can't think of anything..! A-Although, I guess I wonder why they needed to gunk up the control panel...they must have had to do something during the fifteen minutes Nick was paralyzed, right? Maybe we should think about that..?"

"As for the medicine, anyone could have taken it. The killer may have even acquired it while everyone else was in bed. I have to say, though, I do not think Nick needed the medicine himself. He showed no signs of the symptoms the medicine would cure, and his coughing would not be caused by it. The only relevance I can see for the medicine is as a poison, and quite a potent one at that: anyone who took too much of it would die much quicker than they would if they'd been left to slowly suffocate inside a small, airtight space.
"Lastly I wish to clarify the situation in the hallways a little. It may help to observe the map of the second floor as I explain. Assuming Evelyn is telling us the truth, she would have been coming around the corner from the northern bedrooms, still inside the student bedroom corridor. From there she can see the door into the staff bedroom corridor. However, Kyoya's testimony is that he was peeking out from one of the staff bedrooms inside the staff corridor, not sneaking into the staff corridor. There is an inconsistency here."
He paused for a few moments to let the information sink in, before continuing once more. "Perhaps it is time to focus on a new area of the case. In particular, the boys, especially Marshall, Eli and Nicos. They caused quite a bit of trouble, from what I hear! I'm especially disappointed in Eli, who I thought was better than that..."

I believe, looking at the alibis as well as everyone's hair colours, it is likely that the person I might have seen..." She paused uncertainly.
"Well, either it was Mr. Anderson himself or...Eli. I'm not sure what to make of that, especially considering that I could have at least recognised them by their outfits, but perhaps one of them changed for whatever reason?" She didn't seem quite confident in her reasoning.

I guess about a half hour after that, Nana came in and told me that Althea wasn't feeling well, and Nina... well, she said that Nina had gone to... write something? Don't really know why she couldn't have waited until after we were done, but to be honest I was happy..."
She went flustered for a moment, "I... mean... I was h-happy... to... um... finish up by myself-- but Nana was there and she offered to help out in their absence, which was fine. A few minutes later, Marshall stopped by. He didn't do any cooking, but I was..." she glanced at Marshall. "...glad for the company."
"He noticed a few dishes that I guess Althea or Nina missed when they left, and he got kind of... agitated. Started talking about someone poisoning the dishes. He accused... well..." Hoshiko looked down. "I... I guess I understand. Anyway right then, Nana got involved in an incident with a cutlery container and an unintentionally set up Rube-Goldberg machine that resulted in Marshall... accidentally eating one of the hors d’oeuvres I made, and he seemed fine. He apologized for getting worked up and stepped out. It wasn't long before Nana and I were done, so we took the food we'd made to the gym to set it out. After that we took off the hair nets we were wearing and let our hair down, like we usually wear it. And that's... well, that's what I was doing in the afternoon."
