He flipped a switch that made the front of the submarine light up, scaring away some fish. Flipped again, it turned off! Flip it again, it's on! How novel.

It does hurt, " when Kent heard Florsy's proposal he just shrugged, "If it does come to that then I won't mind. The group gets their first few nights of sleep aboard the vessel. Hubert has made a lot of progress with scooting the sub slowly around the ocean floor. He can do summersaults as well which is kinda cool.
Just when things are looking kinda bleak, Hubert figures out how to slowly drive the sub upwards. The climb takes over five hours, and people occasionally get dizzy from the changes in pressure, but everyone is pretty sure that nobody is seriously sick or anything.
They reach the surface and are able to open it up. Walking out there, there is nothing but the crystal ocean for miles and miles. The sun's warmth greets everyone.

Looking around, there is a single black box sitting on the deck of the ship. It's surprising since nobody remembers it from when they originally got on the submarine.
The box turns on and prints out a set of instructions:
