Today marks one month that I've been living in Canada. I've had many adventures to this point. I really love it here. I never want to leave. We're gonna go get a t.v. today and getting internet soon. So I'm pretty excited. I just hope that I get a job soon. crosses fingers

Our game room is so wicked! We just got a TV yesterday. There are plushies everywhere. We basically combined our plushie collections. He has so many electric Pokemon plushies. I have Danganronpa, FNAF, Dashie, etc. I hung up my posters and our game related art. (Perks of an artist dating another artist). MtG cards on a table. It's so awesome Last night he was just watching me play Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

Ah, I actually felt something similar some years back. It was absolutely painful, and also managed to affect my eyes somehow as well as my teeth. I don't remember how it left, though. I think it just stopped after some time.

There was this crazy guy running people over a few days ago. More than 16 people I believe. It happened 10 minutes away from me. It's something that has never happened here in Toronto apparently so it was pretty intense hearing about it for some people. Ironically the day before I was just telling my boyfriend that I don't trust Canadian drivers. They speed everywhere, even through red lights when pedestrians are walking. I've been living here for more than a month and I was almost hit many times because of impatient drivers. It's just sad that so many people lost their lives. He tried to hold his phone as if it were a gun so the police would shoot him. Easy way out is what he was thinking I guess. Thankfully the officer saw it was a phone and arrested him instead. I hope he rots in prison.

Have you gotten hitched with your fiance, Cat? Nothing much is going on with me. I've just been doing school and work, but I'm going to be completely done with school sometime near the end of this year. It'll be weird having my degree at 19, but that's how it is. Unless you're in the big cities like Toronto, Canada is pretty boring. I live in a small village in New Brunswick that barely has 300 people, and hardly anything interesting ever happens around here. It's better than living in a place with lots of crime, or fighting for your life every day, though.

My mother's best friend recently purchased an old abandoned church, and yesterday she gave my mom and I a tour of it. The person that owned it before she did was using it as an art store. One of the last things I expected to find in a place like that was a freaking Super Nintendo. There wasn't any cables or games for it, unfortunately, and a game system without games is like a car without wheels. She's gonna search the place more carefully, and as long as the guy who originally owned the church doesn't claim it, she'll let me have it. Hopefully she can find some cables and games, and if not, there's always Amazon. There's just the question of what the heck a Super Nintendo was doing in an old abandoned church.

Going places is fun though. There are like 5 EB Games near me and like 3 malls. There's never nothing to do.

...Infinity War was much better on a rewatch, I think. Mainly because I knew what the ending was ahead of time. Popcorn was also better.

Hmm it won't teach you Japanese but if you want to gamify any task or learning experience you could try Habitica? It's a website with apps and whatnot that rewards your progress in life goals in a similar way to RPGs.

Find a table that shows you all the katakana and hiragana. Learn that. Proceed to watch anime in Japanese, with English subtitles. Go on to play games in English until you know the lines by heart. Switch to playing that game entirely in Japanese - with Japanese voice acting and text. Hear the same words used and figure out how they translate to the English text you know. ...that's how I did it.

I'm also really stoked to fight a final fantasy behemoth in Monster Hunter World! Can't wait for all that stuff! And the Daemon X Machine game on Switch looked dope! The new Mario Party actually looked pretty interesting! And the...incoherent fan babbling Ahem I suppose if I had to be sad about something it's that the next generation of Pokemon on Switch wasn't confirmed.

E3 has left me at a crossroads of getting a Switch for Smash 5/Super Mario Odyssey/(maybe) TWEWY remaster or getting a PS4 for Death Stranding/Kingdom Hearts III/The Last of Us 2 and I'm leaning towards the latter.
