On another note I baked a ton of things recently that I want to put up pictures of so just gotta get round to that. Also back to work today after my nice holiday off...well I suppose work isn't the least enjoyable thing in the world.

I've been to NY once for one day, it was quite the experience I'd have to say! Unfortunately we only got to see the outside of famous tourist hotspots (like time square and the statue of liberty) and didn't have time to really visit stuff.

Yeah but your dislike of KH is unjustified.
I think Lightning and pretty much everything FF13 is killing what FF used to be. It might play fine but I'm never going to tolerate or accept it. Mechanics might be fine and all but if you don't like the protagonist in a story-heavy game the game won't fly. I have exactly the same problem for DMC. The team that made it I trust is competent enough to make a decent action game but the star of the show is plain unlikeable for me so I don't buy it.
The last time I bought a FF13 game it was purely to support FF. Then they went ahead and made a game so unlike anything I wanted I regretted the decision so for no I'm not really going to want to play it before I shun it in this situation.
Also a school trip to New York sounds AMAZING what's the reason?
Only school trip I had abroad was to Belgium and France to see the WW1 Trenches as part of History.

It would be pretty dumb like for example buying or hating call of duty ghost because of the dog, but for me I just hate that game for the people who play online haha. I don't mind Jacky and the other VF characters. I got DOA5U because I wanted to get all the characters and I had the money to actually spend the $30 for the game. Personally I didn't see the need to have Ein since he is just basically Hayate. They should have used his slot to introduce a new character.

Ein has been a staple to the DoA roster since his creation/introduction in DoA2. DoA5 does have two new characters, Mila who, as far as I can tell, serves no purpose except give us a red-haired Tina but more modest and with a varied fighting style. And Rig who.... well, story reasons. So really, no new character is actually needed aside from Rig, if you think about it.

Pierre... it's called Fabula NOVA Crystalis. As in a NEW crystal story. Of course it's gonna be different from other FF games. And I'm glad it is! I liked VI, it was the first FF that did not have crystals as the main point. I don't see people complaining about that. I like XIII cause of its battle system and characters ('cept Snow, but as I said previously, he's tolerable in LR). Granted, I could've done without XIII-2, but I blame Sera and Noel and Caius and Yule and Time Travel for that. Oh and the Monster System.
