PS: I would have loved the option for getting into a gay relationship with the guys...

Spoiler: Early - Midway through the game
They totally had the chance to make that an option with Kanji as well I guess. Though I suppose as brave as they were to make a sexually confused character in a mainstream video game they had their limits.

No need to be like that, Fool Bright. I agree, though. Cat, Pierre, let's keep this in the Persona thread, okay?

Judging by your avatar, I'm guessing you're a Yugioh fan? I don't know much about the series, other than that there's a character with the same name as me.

Yeah but if Persona has its own thread then the smart thing would be to post there don't you think.

I'm not here much on Tuesdays, I go to a Gaming Society in Glasgow then. Folks I've been with are running a Hunter Roleplay. Basically Humans versus the nefarious monsters in the night. Like a gritty grim Ghostbusters I suppose.

This is something that bothered me while I played through this Case, but I kind of forgot about it again until recently.

Name: the ID-Number
Case: 1-5 "Rise from the Ashes"
Item: the Lost Item report half-filled out by Detective Goodman
Problem: This guy has been a detective for at least two years, if not longer and everybody says he's good at keeping his stuff together. And yet, when his super important ID Card gets stolen from him and he has to fill out said Lost Item report, he can't remember his own ID number?
I mean, I knew that number after hearing it 3 times. How come he couldn't remember it?

C-A

He needed the evidence transferred that day. He probably started the lost item report, but then concluded that it would have taken too long for it to be processed. Because we all know how efficient the police are.

Same reason anyone can forget something...it doesn't seem that hard? I remember you ranting especially when because of computer magic a saved password for something was lost and you couldn't get in anymore because you couldn't remember it.

I don't remember that. But there's a difference. After all, a computer gives me the option to save the passwords for me. An ID card does not have that, so it would be better to know it. (Granted, my ID has a longer number and would be more difficult to remember, but his is really easy...)

Then why didn't he chuck or burn the paper? Or at least tear it up, to make it noticeable that it was unimportant.

It was in the waste-basket near his desk. but the chief detective never specifically said where it was

As I mentioned before, I'm playing a drunken Monk XD With a royal outfit, and gloves of fire damage, the ability to deflect projectiles once per round, and all manner of hilarity. Plus a pistol, since we're using the Renaissance firearms added in a well, after one of our players wanted to play a withc hunter with two of them.

"So I can do it" seems a little... substandard in terms of intelligence, even for Phoenix. Either somebody tried to be a little too literal with the Japanese sentence or they randomly put in chat-speak. And coupled with "sprey" it sounds even dumber.

I don't really notice the lines that much, it's not really distracting. It's like when the Nostalgia Critic's fans were focusing more on the color of the wall behind him rather than the Critic himself. I know a lot of people on here probably haven't seen the Nostalgia Critic, but I couldn't think of a better analogy.

Ok :P How does a monk find the religious justification for using pistols? I thought they were all about blunt damage because it doesn't draw as much blood as a sword.

Monks in 3.5 can use sharp weapons, too. Namely ninja-style peasant tools turned into weapons, like kama and siangham, javelins too, and crossbows. Piercing damage is needed to defeat certain enemy types. And we have another Monk as well, who's a more straight-laced one, disappointed in all my heavy drinking and general attitude towards life. But is still more respectful of me than the Rogues.
