Eh, only if it's so fried that it's almost charcoal. I hate eating bacon and chewing on something... gummy.
Then again, I dislike putting bacon with my stuff - I repeatedly hear and see cooking shows where brits wrap stuff in bacon for no reason other than doing it. Like, they wrap meat in bacon. The only thing my mother ever wrapped in bacon was green beans. But fried bacon bits in/on a pancake? Eh, sure. It can make a nice, crunchy, savory taste in comparison to the sweetness.
Can help if you ordered a shortstack and you suddenly don't feel like tasting anything sweet anymore.
