If at any point in the day the green wire was unplugged, even if it was plugged in right after, there would be a blackout at midnight because the system would force-reset then.]

"What the killer did... is thwack Dallas in the head. He fell unconscious, and they dragged him away. They used his lighter to light the way. They then took his trenchcoat and hat, and headed downstairs... which is where Shirly saw this fake Dallas. But why was the lighter wet? Because the person who used it was wet themselves! The killer was someone that wasn't in the foyer then. They're also the one who snuck the rock in."
