In case some of you were thinking, "So, what the fuck was going on with this mystery?", here's a timeline

Spoiler: Timeline
-18 years ago, Charlie wanted to do a "new magic" show. He asked James to help, trying to sway him to the side of new magic. James would help but wore the invisible costume partly to assist with tricks and partly so Damian wouldn't find out he was at the show. James was new at new magic (harhar) and ACCIDENTALLY killed Rachel. Charlie wanted to tell the truth to Damian but James shot him and threw his body in the lake. He then made it appear as if Charlie fled the country
-15 years ago, Sergei asked Diana to appraise a diamond falsely so he could collect the insurance when it was "robbed"
-12 years ago, Sergei hired Harry and Alex to steal his diamond. Harry killed a security guard and was arrested later, but Alex evaded arrest and was killed at his show. Why? Alex went to the frozen lake to hide the Red Diamond. James saw this and was afraid of what Alex would find when he tried to retrieve the body...
-Sergei refused to free Harry from prison but did arrange for Christian to escape. Christian became his butler, Woodsward (reference to Wadsworth from "Clue").
-A few months later, Sergei ("Nego") ran the first Nonary Game with Diana ("Franzise") as an assistant
-9 years ago, Blaire killed herself. Stricken with grief, Christian killed Eric because he believed he was responsible for framing him
-6 years ago, there was a drought. The lake water was nearly drained and James was concerned that Charlie's body would be discovered, so he tried to retrieve it. However, he cut himself on the thorns and poisoned himself
-3 years ago was the second Nonary Game

The mystery was done before Franzise's Nonary Game but then she did this cool thing where she connected the plot of her game with the plot of mine so I was like "Shit, I have to do that now", so I made Sergei the "Zero" of those two games and Diana was the assistant from the first game. Sorry if that plot in particular felt forced or unnecessary

I guess I was right to unmask Doctor as Christian Rune.

How did I figured this out? It's simple.

-Doctor/Christian Rune's Pigeonhole on the rooftop
-And the chat Yon/Vincent Grant had with Doctor/Christian Rune in Door [4]

I thought about those clues for some time.... And I made the connection.

Still, there's one thing that you didn't answers: When did Christian Rune creates the gaulem of Seven? And how would he need the knowledge to build a gaulem?

Well if we're giving "post-game spoiler creds", Pigeon was the one who figured out Doctor was Christian Rune first (among many, many other things...)

Christian Rune made a gaulem of Blaire because he couldn't bear living without his daughter. He had been doing research to make her for a while and her completion coincided with his plan to make the DoDecary Game. That's it. His knowledge to build a gaulem? Well, I never really thought much about Christian's life before twelve years ago (besides that he liked magic shows) but we can say he's an inventor or programmer or something

Yo who was ultimately guilty and innocent at the end?

Edit: Guess I'll throw this out there since it was part of my win condition.

1st part was to help Zero win
2nd part was to help as many innocent people out as possible and get more innocents out than guilty.

This is why the bomb was really important to me. I didn't want innocents getting lynched. The random killings also freaked me out a tonne too because I couldn't guarantee anything.

Had to have a long hard chat about what "guilt" and "innocence" meant and so it refers to crimes committed before the Nonary game.

I knew myself and Christian were guilty so getting out wasn't that important.

I wasn't sure about Oliver's guilt. It seemed his role wasn't important enough to kill the big Sergei.

I suspected Luna might be guilty of something, especially knowing about her madness. Whether "running a previous nonary game" or "conducting insurance fraud" makes her guilty I don't know.

Vincent I knew he was 'guilty' before he was guilty I suspect. The narrator said one character could become either guilty or innocent depending on their actions. Knowing he did not know his past led me to fear it would prove him guilty if he learned it so I tried to steer him towards accepting a new life.

Saturn and Leo I did not know much about actually. I figured one of them must have been the murderer simply because I knew my father had been framed and they were the two closest to the incident.

Triton seemed innocent. Was a good sort of defence attorney and she didn't seem to know any of the murder victims personally as far as I could tell.

Pigeon was real suspicious at first when the knife fiasco was going down and with him wanting to accept the narrator's deal. However I figured he was ultimately a force for good and a powerful one (after a talk about what determined "guilt"). Used him and his credibility to get the word out about the disarmed bomb. He said he was hellbent on killing Zero and though I tried to persuade him to focus on solving the mystery a smidge he killed ZERO anyway.

Eh well what can you do.
I was also bound by the 3 laws and so could never take an action to harm another human and had to suggest No Lynch as an option each time.

Also why was Pigeon muttering "Blaire" in the ending?

Also, there was a question that I asked in the main thread but nobody answered it. I figures you'll answer the question for me.

The question is:
Why did Zero/Sergei selects Yon/Vincent Grant to suffers amnesia?

Everybody who ended up escaping was innocent. They were the "winning combination" (when Yon regained his memories, he had the choice between remaining guilty or becoming innocent. Becoming innocent changed his bracelet to 12, making him part of the winning combination. Had he chosen guilt, the group would have to leave with Eric's bracelet

Another post-game cred: Pigeon decided to stay in the game longer than he had to to help as many people escape as he could (he could've left with Luna). Another one that I remember is Leo asking everyone to bet 2 BP in the first round but when he submitted his bet, he bet 4 BP (had a lynch occurred this phase, Leo would've saved his group from the chopping block)

As for why Pigeon was muttering "Blaire", maybe he's apologizing for killing her father. Maybe he's thanking her for defusing the bomb. Maybe he's thinking of the real Blaire and how her incident directly led to the death of his brother. Lot of options, no one right answer

Pigeon chose to participate in the Nonary Game and wanted the mystery solved (my role PM actually listed me as "the main character if this were a ZE game"). I was thinking that I could have somewhat of an alliance with Zero based on mutual goals but I got kind of annoyed with Doctor because he kept going against me (I had suspected him after the constant vote-changing in round 1). Why would Doctor want to not fill the pigeonholes if they meant solving the mystery? He also kept telling people not to trust me because of the deal with Door 9 in the first round (which ended up being a good move because I got a guilty character to lower their BP, but did almost get me completely screwed over, my role required trust from the other players). Then I suspected Seven was a gaulem (the bomb code actually said IWANT2BALIVE if you shifted the letters 12 over, gaulem bay played in the room, and I got the name ‘Blaire’) but she refused to talk to me (even after making the qt). It was also annoying that she kept bringing up how I considered the Narrator's offer when I'm assuming she actually did try to give the knife to Doctor. It was just all very annoying but it did lead to my best post to Seven (just so proud of this one):

"I know you won't respond but please pass this along to Zero for me. When I woke up, Zero left me this note. "Hello, Brian. Quid pro quo. If you solve the mystery, I’ll tell you what happened to your brother." Tell Zero that I was perfectly willing to solve the mystery with him. I had no problem with it. Tell Zero that the reason he lost is because he thought it would be a good idea to roadblock me at every turn, pushing me against a wall until I had no choice but to fight back. Tell Zero I'm coming for him next."

It was just something to scare him but then Saturn died and I figured that if Saturn wasn't the one who killed Eric, then it was probably Zero. And then at the end Doctor was saying “Zero should confess” when it was so clear that he was Zero (he built a fucking gaulem. I don’t know why this was such a huge debate >.>) and Seven also refused to grab the evidence or check the lake (It seemed like it was either her die and then un-die, or someone else die forever). So I killed him and that ended up being a good move. Sorry about that eheheh

It also seemed like Seven filled part of her winning condition by having the 'innocent group' escape which was nice

You knew that Blaire was dead

You could also say that The Narrator did it

@Jumpfight If Seven had given the knife to Doctor, he would've killed you (which would've really fucked over his win condition). And I did intend for you two to work together, that's why I gave you the note. I also put in Doctor's role PM that you were the only one he could 100% trust

And I declared you the main character but as the game went on, it seemed that Luna or Leo could've also filled that spot. It probably still works best with Pigeon because he becomes almost Lotus-levels of relevant if he isn't the main character. Plus, Leo would probably know too much

Yeah Doctor was saying you were too dangerous to leave alive.

Haha what a turn it would have been if I'd realised the knife was given back to me.

Still...

This a thousand times this.

I wasn't listed in the winners, I'm not sure if its because I had to fulfil Zero's win condition or because I didn't escape (even though I couldn't really since my brain was tied to the mainframe) but I'm really happy I was able to fulfil my one goal that I devised myself. Nice to know it wasn't a complete failure. Call it a personal victory.

My epilogue would be depressing anyway something like watching the innocent members leave while hiding quietly with a smile on her face before powering down.

Sorry I was so hard on Yon now. As mentioned I thought regaining his memories entirely would be enough to render him guilty as whether he was remorseful or not it wouldn't have changed the crimes he did.

As for not trusting you. I was willing to talk after all I made the quicktopic but then immediately after there was the incident with Oliver getting killed so I turtled up a bit. For me it could have been an innocent who had died and I wasn't sure of a culprit (also probably why I was a bit harder on Yon once he confessed to it). Either way its why I didn't say anything immediately. When you withheld the code though I had to get it and saw an opportunity to get the bomb information out as well.

I"m glad I kept the bomb code for myself, it made me, again, more relevant to the story, I guess Pigeon's character would have had a hard time with that otherwise.

Suited me fine in the end xD

Though remember it wasn't actually a bomb code. If you had revealed it earlier the outcome would probably have just been the same. I'd have contacted you and asked you to claim responsibility for disarming the bomb.

Hey how bout a round of applause for the first Nonary game where people were able to actually escape?

So this was the reason the exit number was 30? xP (or one of the exit numbers, at least)

fyi, I suggested it cuz I didn't know he had QTs with literally EVERY OTHER PERSON IN THE GAME and could pull off an escape without a public vote
...although I also admit I would have escaped alone if I had had one more gemstone

My win condition was to avenge Sergei's death and find out why I was here. Didn't even need to escape~ So it feels kind of silly, since Yon was the one who fulfilled the first condition and Pigeon the second (by giving us all the info through the pigeonholes). Oh well :D (If it wasn't obvious already, my power was basically to find out how much BP one person bet each round, and JM said he tried to make power strength and win condition difficulty correlated)
But at the end of the day, I guess escaping is OP

also JM, since you didn't answer this when I asked during the game, were roles and numbers linked (diana is always 1, harry is always 2, etc) or randomized separately?
...Also what was with that note written by Sergei that I found at the end?

EDIT: Also JM you should post the QTs so we can see all the shenanigans that happened during the game~

I wanted to make the exit number something that ended with a 0 (to fit with the casino theme (baccarat)). I then made the roles accordingly so the "innocent" people would be able to open the escape door

So basically, I assigned each role a number and then randomized the roles. I almost wanted to make Maggie the one who was Franzise from the first game (which would've really fit considering Franzise ended up being her) but I couldn't think of a way for it to make sense and it seemed more logical to have "Franzise" be someone close to "Nego"

Diana was originally number 2 and Harry was number 1. When I decided to incorporate the other Nonary Games into the story, the numbers switched (because I wanted Diana to have the same number). And when I first randomized the roles, Bad Player got Vincent but I figured he wouldn't want to be 4 again so I just reshuffled everyone and he got Diana (I don't remember who else got what role on the first shuffle)

So there was some logic behind assigning the numbers

1-Same number that "Franzise" had
2-If someone had been killed by being pushed behind a numbered door, people would do calculations to see who the killer could be. If it was Oliver using the [11] bracelet (and the characters didn't have the knowledge that there was an [11] bracelet)
3-I didn't want her to recognize it was Brian in the photo
4-Kind of just the last number assigned. In his Role PM, I made it sound like a character got randomly inflicted with amnesia and he was unlucky to be chosen, but he was meant to have memory loss the entire game
5-Not much logic behind 5 and 6 besides that I wanted to have them next to each other. I did originally have James as 5 until I realized the escape combo wouldn't work, though
6-See above
7-Wanted the numbers next to each other
8-See above
9-Main character gets free reign on what door he wants (but it didn't even matter because the doors were always sets of 3 :/ )

Edit: And I'll post the qt's in a bit

Oh snap yeah I forgot to mention I also got the Hint that it was possivle for all the innocent characters could escape at the start.

Of course at the time I had no idea what it meant as the games rules were not fully clear plus with bodies piling up it was really skewing who I thought was innocent later on.

"Seven of Nine" was also a kind of clue from me. It was a Star Trek Voyager reference sure but the character specifically is a reconverted Borg (humans converted to be more like machines basically) so it was a hint as well to Seven's nature.

@Bad Player

Oh and you were right. The note was written from Sergei to Christian Rune, telling him that he'd get him out of prison. My intention was that you guys would think the note was referring to a player but when you found the note on him, you assumed he had it all along

Full collected story of how I ended up killing James:

Throughout the game I really suspected Charlie for everything. I figured he had trapped me here. I figured he killed all Alex and Rachel. I figured he poisoned James as well.

I began to anticipate seeing him around each corner. Each room I entered, I tried to be the first one to pick up items that could lead to his whereabouts (I believe in every door I ended up picking up something and pocketing it first).

Slowly the entire Casino became accessible, and fewer and fewer hiding places remained.

When James, Maggie and I entered the pool there was no item. The only thing there I could find to pocket was the [Dionysus] key, I figured maybe I would be able to get into some secret room first.

When we met back up with the others, I noticed the bottle of wine that was locked. I snatched it and opened it without saying anything, but the top said "AB antidote" which didn't interest me at all, and I was disappointed, so I decided to just reveal it to everyone. That's when Pigeon said that AB probably stood for the binary name of nightshade.

I realized then, that I had to be the first to see the lake where there were probably hints about Alex's death and Charlie's whereabouts. I was going to leave right away, but that's when everyone started searching for bloodstains, so I stayed around and let that happen.

When I saw James's shirt was covered in bloodstains, I did not think twice about it because I knew it was Charlie's and I knew he had killed Alex in it or something.

I went straight to the lake, ducking out of everyone's sight. I drank the antidote, waded through the nightshade, took a few layers, so I could return to everyone dry, and entered the lake.

I found the Red Diamond like we had all expected, but then I found something unexpected.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dORf0tLaSn8

The dead body of Charlie Ridley. Not a year older than the last I ever say of him. Shot in the chest.

Suddenly I realized that the force that had haunted me since 18 years ago couldn't be Charlie Ridley, and, as I left the lake, I thought back to that bloody stage shirt and how, the only murder I knew of in the history of the troupe where the victim bled everywhere: Rachel.

Charlie wasn't wearing the shirt on the night of that performance. That meant that some third person was up there on the stage when Rachel died, someone who could not be seen: the real killer. They then took Charlie out back and shot him, taking his bank card and draining the troupe account. Only a few people could have had access to that shirt, I realized, and very few of the people were here from that time.

Additionally, I thought about how someone from the troupe very easily could've killed Alex, and I thought about how many suspects could have poisoned James when he was on the other side of the state.

I didn't want to believe it. I convinced myself it wasn't James, and I calmly slipped back where everyone else was while my heart was in turmoil.

That's when James tripped another red flag by suggesting it was what Charlie had worn on stage that night. I couldn't believe it my own brother?

Then he started getting really eager to explore the lake, and I realized that maybe he wanted to take the Red Diamond from there. I was scared. I suddenly didn't feel like I knew him. He was the one who took the AB antidote, which I had already drunk a little of, and went to the lake. It was all lining up.

Then he came back and told us what he had found nothing in the lake. No mention of Charlie Ridley's body. That's when I decided that he had to pay. I knew he was the killer. He was responsible for all the things I thought Charlie Ridley did. That's when my apprehension became rage.

When he left to go back to the lake, I followed him silently. He still didn't know I knew the truth. I think he was there disposing of the AB Antidote, so none of the rest of us could find the body of the man he killed. Anyway, he was standing near the brambles and I ran up to him and threw him in. I didn't take anything because I didn't care.

After that I met back up with everyone and discovered the body along with everyone else. That's when the sorrow hit me. I had finally gotten rid of the curse that had haunted me for so many years, but it had succeeded in leaving me all alone.

I cursed it, and I cried. I debated whether or not I should tell everyone else what had happened, but ultimately nobody ever suspected me.

(Edit: My win condition was killing Charlie, when I found he was dead, my new win condition became killing whoever had killed my "family".)

It's fitting that my post follows up Nanjo's because it brings some closure to questions I had.

It's really, really tough for me to play an evil character. I've never really been able to do it in games, so I thought, for this round, I could "convince" myself that it was Charlie who did those things when really, "Charlie" was the monster within my own character's soul.

It should've clued me in when Nanjo asked me in the Ridley Brothers' QT if I knew where Charlie was. At that point, there was nothing I could do.

Playing an evil character in a game like this leads me to a strange paradox: Wanting good for everyone, but also wanting to be there to see it (a.k.a. alive.) Because of my character, that just couldn't happen.

James will get no respite in hell, where he truly belongs. He was never a "bad person" in the game, but it was only after he'd done all the bad stuff that I had taken control. Thus, there was not much I could do. Well, maybe I could've, but I'm not good at more than surface-level lying. I guess I need more practice with that.

Regardless of my character's true standing, I had lots of fun and I'm happy that the people who deserved to win did. Thanks for the amazing game, JM!
Thank you for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Triton seemed innocent. Was a good sort of defence attorney and she didn't seem to know any of the murder victims personally as far as I could tell.

Pretty much, I think Triton was about the "cleanest" character in the story; she was just there because she happened to defend a couple people connected to the whole affair.

I had a hunch Luna was meant to be my character from the earlier games (which kind of made me lean towards the idea that she was Zero, oops). Considering Luna is best ZE girl by a landslide, I am 100% cool with this.

the irony of bp getting my character was not lost on me

I really enjoyed the story and characters and was genuinely sad by the end at having to leave while leaving so much unresolved, but then again I don't know what I would have been able to do to figure things out anyway, felt pretty out of the information loop for the majority of the mysteries so I don't quite feel like I earned my win but I'll take it anyway, gotta keep the streak alive

I see why you meant by that. If I entered the game with my memories, and the moment that I met Seven, I would know something is up.

Anyway, I reckon you guys didn't figured out how I managed to carry out Oliver's murder. You already know my motive: my memories.

So, here's how Oliver's murder was carried out:

When I saw that my group was up on the lynching block....

I felts that I need to save James Ridley, Diana Cunningham, and myself from the lynching block... There was only one option left. That option was going to brand me as a murderer.

First, while you guys were focusing on Oliver, I slipped out of the group unnoticed. I found a blind spot in which none of you guys can see me. That and I have a clear view of Oliver.

I quietly took out the gun. I was very sneaky, you know. Holding the gun made me feels calm. At the time that I carried out the murder, I didn't have my memory back, so I didn't know what my win condition was. Little did I know that I fulfilled one of Luna's win conditions.

I aimed the gun just so it was pointing directly at Oliver's chest. And I pulled the trigger.... twice. (I picked the Guaranteed option, because I didn't want Oliver to realize that I tried to shoot him.)

And well... you know what happened to Oliver when he took those very two bullets. You guys all saw that, and I can't blame you for that.

I quickly hid the gun. I was going to hid the gun in a place where nobody would finds it later. Then, amidst the confusion that I managed to create, I rejoined the group. When I rejoined the group, I was acting as confused as the rest of you guys. None of you guys saw me rejoining the group, because you were distracted by the murder that happened right before your eyes.

And that's how I carried out Oliver's murder. About the gun, I would never expects that I would forgets to hide the gun.

By the way Jumpy, how did you know about Seven's elbow?

I don't think it was something that had been in any of the games and I don't recall reading anything about it in your QT.

Also JM you said you tried to balance power strength off against victory difficulty.

What was the internal difficulty scale like?

I asked for your elbow because I didn't want you to refuse if I asked for your hand since you could've made some excuse about not wanting the prick to be a hindrance. It was a coincidence but when I asked for elbow and you offered a finger I knew something was up

Haha what a lucky coincidence.

Blaire actually had red blood but in her hand only xD

I was baffled at how you'd clocked this but now it seems mere chance..

Full disclosure though I forgot the part where I only has red blood in my hand. The finger waggling was just circumstance (made her wag her finger a few times so it was more of a mannerism). It took you asking for my elbow specifically to double check that and realise it was my hand only.

Oh, if Jumpy wants to knows the actual reason why I gave him the Peridot. The answer is simple:

-If I was blacken while I was holding the Peridot, then either Seven or Doctor will take the Peridot, preventing me from escaping the game with Pigeon, Triton, Luna, and Leo.

It's a good thing that I thought ahead of them.
