Hey wait a minute, do you have any evidence disponable at this moment of the trial? Evidence is the base of any trial.

Quick, submit this evidence into court, or I shall held you in contempt of the court and declare the defendant innocent.

Phoenix looked at the witness, officer korr. 'Its obvious he's hiding something... But what.' He thought. "Your honor, I'd while this matter of evidence is being sorted out, do you mind that I cross examine the witness?" He asked.

You may, but I need to see some evidence soon!

(How the hell is he going to cross examine without evidence?)

I give you 30 minutes (like 16 hours real life, until tomorrow when I come back) to look for evidence. You may continue at the risk of not obtaining nothing, in which I will ultimately penalize you with the Guilty veredict.

'Youch... That was kind of harsh...' He though. "AHEM, now onto the cross examination.

"There's also something curious about the Coniine used in the murder..."

:holdit:

"Witness, would you mind telling us what was so curious about the Coniine?"

Just who does this judge think he is? Ivan thought. Attempting to hand down a verdict before the case has been fully examined and every point taken into consideration--if anyone should be held in contempt of court, it's him.

((Out of character) Frankly, I wouldn't mind having more of the details on the evidence myself. Matt620 seems to have forgotten to post the initial evidence. I just sent him/her a PM about this problem. I'll also have to communicate with Allan's Aokage so we can be on the same page with regards to the case's details.)

Officer Korr jumped when Phoenix yelled so loudly at him.

"Whoa, pal. I almost had a heart attack there."

Officer Korr wriggled uncomfortably under Phoenix's unrelenting glare, and spoke.

"Okay, okay! It's just that, the dosage of coniine that the victim was injected with was much higher then the lethal dosage..."

Aser facepalmed himself. "Wow, the Judge is an idiot." he muttered, before raising his voice. "MR. Wright, I give to you; Woodward's Autopsy Report, and the murder weapon - a Hypodermic Needle. The court accept this into evidence."

Witness, do you have any clue on why the Coiine in the injection was higher than the lethal dosage? After all, about how much is the lethal dosage?

Officer Korr smiled

"That I can tell you about, Your Honor!"

Korr cleared his throat and continued on.

"Well, the lethal dosage of Coniine is .15 grams. The ammount of Coniine we found in the victim was .5 grams, much more then necessary."

"As for the motive, well..."

"The defendant had no contact with the victim besides the surgery, except for an incident two years ago..."

"Some of you may remember, there was a high-speed car crash two years ago. The accident injured the car's driver, the car's passenger, and a pedestrian not in the car."

"The car's driver was our victim, Mr. Woodward, who had only minor injuries."

"The passenger in that car died from her injuries. The passenger was none other then the defendant's sister, Kate Allister, Mr. Woodward's girlfriend."

"Who the pedestrian was isn't really relevant, and it's a matter of police record only."

"M-My sister!" Brooke cried as she took her head in her hands and began to cry. My sister is now gone...gone forever. She died in that car accident and they accuse me of killing my sister's boyfriend? Sure, it makes me mad at that man, Ethan Woodward...but to kill him? No way. Her mind raced as she munched her Snackoos faster and faster. "Hey Ema! Got any Snackoos?" she asked Ema as she grinned and held up her bag of Snackoos.

"Sure Dr. Brooke..." Ema withheld a portion of her lab-coat to reveal at least a dozen bags of Snackoos. "Care for a bag or two?" She smiled. She returned her attention to the officer's testimony, oping to help Mr. Wright.

"Who the pedestrian was isn't really relevant, and it's a matter of police record only."

Objection Overruled. Every piece of information is to be taken into account, and the pedestrian as well has a MOTIVE. Who was the pedestrian, witness?

"The pedestrian has made a full recovery!" Brooke shouted. "How could he be in a coma?" she turned and saw some gasps from the jury. "Heh...I'm sorry...it's...just...um..." Brooke grinned and started scratching the back of her head, trying to regain her confidence. Heh...I sure hope so... she thought.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW?" Brooke screamed back, making nearly everybody jump back in surprise. "Um..I mean...the prosecution should summon this pedestrian as a witness! He can testify about the incident two years ago for us!"

"The court can hear both of you just fine without the yelling," Ivan said calmly. "Though it could easily be a dead end, this pedestrian's identity and his connection to Dr. Alister's motive seems important to me. I believe that if the defendant's motive is to be taken at face value, we will need to know more about how this accident occurred. Mr. Wright, Mr. Amun, your positions?"

"I'm against it. And guess who's calling the witnesses?" Aser shook his head. "I am. More to the point, the medestrian was, and still is, in a hospital. I am not dragging him out of there to testify on some nonsense!" Aser slammed the desk, annoying the spiders even more.

And Iam in favor of it, because he may as well have a motive to kill the victim, after all, the victim was the one who caused the pedestrian to still be in the Hospital, the same place where the victim was. Quick, bring that pedestrian to the stand! We will take a 45 minutes recess, in which the prosecution will prepare the witness!

The Court is adjourned.

Then maybe we can get some evidence out of him visiting him, dont you think so.

*Pounds Gavel*

Well, neither the prosecution nor the defense have decisive evidence, and we know of the existence of another person that can be implied in the case. As the prosecution refuses to call the pedestrian into the witness stand, then I want to see some evidence in tomorrow's trial.

*Pounds*

That's it!
The Court is adjourned.
