"Why don't you just let her answer whether or not she could tell if everyone had thier own weapon."

Meg nodded, ignoring mr. Johnson.
'Now i remember, there were more than four brawling at the time.' She paused.
'One of them was fighting with his fists, the others all had swords.' She paused again.
' And one of the people who joined the brawl had a knife, if i remeber correctly'

David shook his head.

"Now do you see the benifits of letting the witness actually testify?"

He then turned his attention back to Meg.

"I'd like you to answer one more question. Do you know where this was all happening when you saw it?"

Usually Drake never acts like that, but he was still nervous because of the assasins, he wanted to avoid mention them as good as he could, even if it were only the weapons

He then turned to Drake. "Mr. Johnson, I have no further questions for this witness."

Angel arrived at the courthouse and went into the prosecutor's lobby. After a few seconds, Drake came out of the courtroom and into the lobby. "Ah, Mr. Johnson," she said as he came in. "I'm sorry for being quite late, but I was just re-investigating the crime scene, though there was no new evidence to be found." She then asked, "Who was the first witness in my absence, Mr. Johnson?"

((Let's just be with the fixing of these mistakes. For starters, I hadn't even authorized finding a weapon at the scene of the crime. Secondly, a bayonet was not involved in the murders, as it would be pointless to use if there weren't any guns. A bayonet is unwieldy because of it's design if you try to use it like a knife, which is why it's attached to a gun to be used as a spear instead. Furthermore, a bayonet is kinda easy to notice, as it is at least the size of a knife, if not a knife itself.))

"Ah, yes," Angel replied with a nod. "I remember Meg. Don't worry about my testimony, Mr. Johnson. I'll only be precise and stick to the facts." She then sat down on the couch and checked her files once more. "Complete, as I thought," she then whispered to herself and leaned back, preparing.

"So far so good my friend," Jason stated. "At the moment, it looks like the trial could go either way. All we have to do is avoid any slip-ups regarding my second job, and then we could get another day. Of course, I want to see this trial through to the very end, and catch the real murderer."

Angel nodded, and started her testimony.

:testimony:
"On the night of the murder, there were six people, including the defendant."

"The five victims were killed using different blades."

"There was no evidence on the scene of the crime."

"The defendant was arrested after the murder because all of the victims bought different kinds of weaponry from his shop at one point or another."

Mr.Juggles thought very carefully.
"Hmm, how interesting. All the weapons were bought from the victim. No evidence were found at the crime, that doesn't happen very often!"

Mr.Juggles turned to the defense and said, "Now that the testimony has been given, I would like you to start the cross-examination."

(Ahem...I'm still here. Can you be a little patient please?)

David scratched the stubble on his chin. He still didn't understand why David was arrested. Simply because the arms were from his store?

"Excuse me, detective. You say that my client was arrested because the weapon's belonged to his shop? That doesn't seem like a very good reason. I assume there was another reason for his arrest?" David asked.

Angel shook her head. "Other than the witnesses and the weapons bought on that day, there is no other evidence. Since there was no other evidence found, however, the one that links closest to the murder is the defendant."

David frowned.

"So let me get this straight. There is no evidence that proves that my client was the killer." David scoffed as he straightened his glasses. "So, apart from testimony, the only reason my client was arrested was because he happened to be at the crime scene and the weapons were bought from his store?"

Angel sighed, knowing that the prosecution wouldn't win this easily. "With the apparent lack of evidence and clues, yes, these are the only reasons. This is why many in the department are baffled," she stated to the court. "He is, though, the only apparent link." Angel then thought, "There's still a long way to go."

David raised an eyebrow. Surely the case couldn't be this weak. The evidence was circumstantial and pointed no more to Jason than it did anyone else. Was he arrested simply to satisfy the public?

"An apparant link? Could you elaborate on that? I don't understand."

Angel then nodded, and said to the court, "What I meant was that he is the person most closely connected with the crime. He has no alibi, he was carrying a weapon, the victims all bought from him on the day of the crime, and...Well, there are rumors of a certain organization who assassinates different people, but there is no evidence ascertaining that fact yet."

David groaned and massaged his temples.

"You cannot be serious. An orginization of assasins? Aside from the fact that there is no point in you even bringing up such a ridiculous idea, and that all of it is baseless conjecture, your reason's for arresting my client are entirely coincidental. You still have not proved that my client even participated in the fight, or for that matter, if he even could be guilty of murder. At the worst, you've simply stated that my client came upon the murder scene while armed, which isn't that unlikely as he is the owner of a weapon's store. Heck, he might have been carrying it for self defense. Also, the link of the weapons being from his store makes no sense. If someone murdered someone with a gun does that make the person who sold the gun guilty? No, it does not."

David did his best to sustain his laughter.

"Really now, I weep for the prosecution. Grasping at straws does not begin to describe what you are doing. You are taking a potentially and most likely false rumor, and the current case and trying to put them togethere in some oddball attempt prosecute. I must say, if the prosecution is doing such a desperate act, then perhaps it has little faith in thier own case. Your honor, the facts are in front of us. The prosecution has not only failed to give us any decisive evidence or testimony, but also make a laughingstock out of this courtroom. Mr. Johnson, if you have a witness that can actually prove your case then I ask that you summon them, and please stop with baseless conjecture."

Drake sighed. Dammit, why did it have to come to this? he asked himself. Guess I have no choice now. "I have proof."

Jason's eyes widened. "Oh dear," he stated. "This can't bode well for our case."

Drake pulled out a couple photos, the ones he took at the lair. "I took these photos at Jason's shop. I don't know what exactly it is there for, but something is odd about this."

Jason raised his right eyebrow. "I was not aware of that room. Where exactly was this located?" he asked.

"In the back."
