For those who had read JBA part 5, doesn't Matt engard false personality that's always talking to the phone reminds of Doppio's "tururururu"? This came clear to me when he said "now I'm gonna consult myself" and became the evil Matt Engarde, like "calling" Diavolo.

So, for you that have read (the pic bellow won't make sense if you don't), what do you think? :shoe:

Yeah, that's quite an interesting take on it. Never saw it myself, but I can understand where you are coming from, since it is a Japanese title, and all. Seems likely they'd reference something like this.

He always seemed like he was talking to nobody but himself, half the time. Plus the obvious twist of his personality.

And props, for the tururu'ing. I like you.

Exactly Baki-Kun, in Jojo you see Doppio always using a telephone (sometimes telephone, sometimes frogs, icecream, &c).
Another point is that Jojo is so much influent on anime/games culture. Have your read part 2? Rose's Street Fighter Zero is a copy of Lisa Lisa. Want a pic? :gant:

Lol, nah. I knew that. And the thing with Stroheim, too.

JoJo is so epic and awesome in Japan, I think about everything that followed afterwards got a little shine, off of it.

And, Part II is awesome. Even if it and Part I always make me think I'm reading some spin-off of Hokuto no Ken.

I'm conviced, there's something to this Engarde/Doppio combo.
