when Franziska burts into the court room with the three pieces of evidence, none of them can really declare matt guilty. but what about the card that Maya wrote on found in Gumshoe's pocket? i kinda had a feeling that if the card that Maya wrote was submitted as evidence de killer would've been found guilty right at that moment, but i dont really understand how. whats the importance of the card and how was it different from the bell boy uniform, the pistol, and the video tape?

You bring up a good point but you need to remember- De Killer isn't the one on trial. Matt is. The goal was to show that he was guilty. You needed to prove that Matt was the one that De Killer hired, but a picture that Maya drew on Shelly's calling card wasn't going to do much for that cause.

The bellboy uniform showed that De Killer was in the hotel on the night of the crime
The pistol was either how Juan was killed or the weapon used to shoot Franziska
The video tape in the bear showed De Killer that he was being tapped in the crime, by none other than Matt himself.

The card however is irrelevant as we already know that Maya was kidnapped and it was most likely done by Shelly de Killer.
