Prologue Based on Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D minor", one of the most recognizable pieces of classical music. The opening trill certainly provides a dramatic enough beginning to the game. The piece is very well suited to Giant Udgey, in my opinion.
Start: As soon as you start the case:
End: Cuts off right before Giant Udgey swings his gavel.

Ringtone: Richard Wellington The inspiration for Phoenix's dream. It should be noted that this ring tone is monophonic, while Phoenix's is polyphonic. Only having one voice makes the tone sound even more "dinky" than normal, which enhances the contrast with the prologue. The ringtones bring up a question similar to that of the pictures; if the game is set 20 or so years in the future, why can't the phones play real music?
Start:After you advance the "time and place" text, the first controllable text in the game
End:Cuts off after Phoenix's "I really shouldn't be dozing off..." line, coinciding with the phone's "*beep*".
Prologue
Start: Fades in (Continuing from where it left off) through Richard Wellington's "Ah, good, I finally found it", stops for his next line, then fades back in as Wellington's face is displayed.
End: Ends as Wellington's face fades out.

Courtroom lounge - Another Overture Significantly more ominous than it's PW1 counterpart. It reflects the massive sense of foreboding for things like Case 4.
Start:In the middle of Phoenix's "And why does it feel... so foggy in there...?" line
Fades out on Phoenix's "Who are you?"
Returns as Maggey says "Whaaaaat!?"
Fades out on Phoenix's "Who am I?"
Fades in as the screen returns after the aforementioned line
End: Fades out after Maggie's "I'm counting on you in there" line.

Gyakuten Saiban 2 - Trial A complete change from PW1's calm, relaxing trial theme. Abundant use of horns and other such instruments create a much grander atmosphere for Game 2's trials.
Start: At the beginning of the Judge's first line.
Fades out as Payne says "Hee, hee, hee. It's been a while, Mr. Wright."
Begins again as Gumshoe is shown on the witness stand.
End: Fades out as Payne says "Please describe for us the details of this murder"
*
Trick and Magic Serves the same function as "Logic and Trick" from the first game. A faster song with a much greater urgency than what it replaced and a demanding, rather than pensive, tone.
Start: Begins as the crime photo is shown and Gumshoe says "The victim was one of the local cops, Dustin Prince".
Stops as Phoenix says "Yes... I guess?"
Starts again as Maggey says "At a time like this, maybe you ought to take a glance at the Court Record".
Stops as the judge says "I will not have an uninformed lawyer in my court" (Only if you answer the question wrong).
Fades back in as Phoenix says "(Uh, it's the Court Record Button, right?)" (See above)
Fades out as Phoenix says "That's simple, Your Honor. A broken pair of glasses."
Fades back in as Phoenix says "You sure about that?"
End: Fades out as the judge slams his gavel after Payne says "And this evidence is very decisive."
*
Examination - Moderate 2002 A simpler melody than PW1's testimony theme; its base line lacks the insistence of the earlier version. The plucked string line does most of the moving here; overall, a much more subtle tune.
Start: After you press the button to start Gumshoe's first testimony (but before he starts speaking)
End:Fades out as Gumshoe fades out (on the screen) after giving his testimony.

Announce the Truth 2002 Remarkably similar to the first version, though lacking in the harpsichord department.
Start: As Maggie says "This is it! I'm counting on you".
End: Fades out as the Judge slams his gavel (before saying "Mr. Wright. Your cross-examination, please."
Gumshoe's First Cross-examinationExamination - Moderate 2002
Start: As you press the button to begin Gumshoe's cross-examination.
Fades out as Maggey says "That's how you know you found a contradiction..." (Press on fourth statement)
Fades back in after Phoenix says "(I'd better check the Court Record again)" (see above)
Fades out as Phoenix says "My what??" (Ending dialogue)
Fades back in as Maggey says "Yes! The great Phoenix Wright is back!" (Ending Dialogue, choose "Oh, THAT Present Evidence)
Fades back in as Gumshoe fades in again (After an interruption by Trick and Magic detailed below) (Ending Dialogue, Choose "Enlighten Me.")
End: Stops as Phoenix OBJECTION!s (Only if you present Maggey's profile)
Trick and Magic
Start: As Maggey says "OK. When you're listening to testimony, you can compare it..." (Ending Dialogue, choose "Enlighten Me.")
End: Fades out as Phoenix says "Hmm... Sounds complicated, but I'll give it a try..."
End Cross-examination*
Phoenix Wright - Objection 2002 A much more muted tune compared to the first game's. The tension builds for the entire song, but it never seems to get anywhere. Lacks the impact of the first version (especially when it comes to the first few seconds, the most important part of any Objection! song).
Start: Before Phoenix says "(What a rush!)"
End:Fades out as the judge slams his gavel before saying "This is very true."
Examination - Moderate 2002
Start: As you press the button to begin Gumshoe's second testimony
Fades out after Gumshoe's testimony
Starts again as you press the button to begin the cross examination
Fades out as Phoenix says "..." (Ending Dialogue)
Fades in again as Phoenix says "So I should try "pressing" him, huh?" (See above)
End:Fades out as Phoenix slams his desk before saying "Of course it is relevant!" (Press "It was something she had gotten over 2 months ago", choose "Press further", choose "Of Course It's relevant")
Phoenix Wright - Objection 2002
Start: Before Maggey says "Yes! Bluffing to the max!"
End: Fades out as Gumshoe says "Yes, sir."
*
Examination - Allegro 2002 This one really needs headphones to be appreciated. It is the bass line that provides the tension to this song.
Start: As you press the button to begin Gumshoe's third testimony
Fades out after Gumshoe finishes his testimony
Starts again as you press the button to begin the cross-examination
Ends: As you object with the right evidence
Announce the Truth 2002
Start: As Phoenix says "This glove is made for a left-handed person!"
End: Fades out as the judge slams his gavel before saying "It seems that we have reached the conclusion."

Suspense I'm sorry, but this is the one song in the entire series that I really don't like. It's very boring. That's about all I have to say.
Start: Before Payne says "I mean, please give me a few minutes, Your Honor."
End: Fades out as the judge says "Court is adjourned for the recess!"
To Be Continued... I would love suggestions as to how I can improve the format or what more information I can include.
