Whew, it has been a long time since I've last posted on CR. I've been lurking from time to time, though. But the last time I've actually posted was ages ago... Anyway, let's get to the point.

I've started to replay all games. And that's great because of my really sucky memory, I hardly remember anything of all cases, so I can replay them as if they're new. I only really know the gist of the cases, like who did it and what the biggest turnabouts are. I've completely forgot any details like the contradictions in most witness testimonies.
Anyway, right now I am at a point in case 2-4 where Adrian Andrews has taken the witness stand. I've just discovered that Adrian has poured juice, put that on the table, knocked over the vase, and opened the guitar case. But then Adrian Andrews says she did all this to... protect Matt? How does that explain her behavior? "Oh, I went in Juan's room and did seemingly trivial stuff just to protect Matt". To me, that makes no sense at all... So, does anyone know what Adrian means?
Also, during the cross-examination that follows, Adrian makes a statement "But I'm Matt's manager... So I felt that I had to protect him...". I present the photo of her wearing the Nickel Samurai costume, because that clearly shows she is NOT trying to protect Matt at all! However, if I do that, I receive a penalty. Is this a fault in the game, or a fault in my reasoning?
And I actually think it's strange that I am cross-examining Adrian over something like this. Right now, it's pretty much proven that the Nickel Samurai costume was inside the guitar case and that Adrian didn't leave any prints on the guitar case, while she did leave print on the wine glass. Shouldn't they investigate where the costume disappeared to and why Adrian didn't leave any prints? Or did I possibly miss something?

Hm, now that I think about it. Completely unrelated, but I also have a question about 2-3's end.
Spoiler: 2-3
At the end, Regina asks if Acro will try to get revenge on her again. I sadly had to use a walkthrough here and noticed I had to present Bat's profile. So I did just that... But I really don't understand the explanation that Phoenix gives. Can someone clarify me why Bat's profile means that Acro won't try to get his revenge?

Well, thanks for reading! I hope someone can help me out here with all 4 of my "problems" (The "problems" are bolded/underlined for reader convenience) =)

1. Because she knew it was Matt and... stuff!
2. Well... I guess it's kind of a contradiction, but not the contradiction you're supposed to point out xD
3. If they found some random Nickel Samurai costume lying around, they prolly would've pointed it out by now (and I'm sure they searched the hotel a ton already)
4. First off... You're asking about 2-3 ^^'
Spoiler: 2-3
Anyway. Phoenix says "Bat is still alive! It's not like you truly murdered him, so he's not going to want to truly murder you!" And yes, it is fail logic that doesn't actually make any sense (considering Bat has been not-truly-dead the entire time)

Well, that certainly was a quick response!

1. In other words... It doesn't make much sense?
2. Yup... I figured out what the real contradiction was.
3. Well, what I mean is... There is a whole lot of mystery around the guitar case (Why are there no prints? Why did Adrian take the costume? Where is the costume now?). It's all stuff that Adrian supposedly knows the answer to. But nobody really bothered to ask her these questions. (Though, it's probably obvious she'd deny everything)
4. Oops. Edited it to 2-3. And I see... It just is very confusing and fail logic.

Thanks! =D

Spoiler: 2-3 post-trial
During his confession, Acro said: “Your brother became a star.” Regina believed in that so purely, that she would laugh innocently when saying it... Too innocently... I just couldn’t stand it... No matter how hard I tried.

This seems to imply that Acro's motive for attempting to murder Regina was more than the fact that she hospitalised Bat (Acro knew that it was an accident, after all) - it was that she'd landed Acro's dearest brother in a coma without ever feeling a shred of guilt or remorse about it. After the trial, Regina was distraught after finally understanding that she was responsible for Bat's terrible accident, and upon presenting her with Bat's profile, she resolves to visit him in Acro's place until he wakes up. With her newfound senses of responsibility, regret and guilt, Acro should no longer have a motive for murder.
