Ini, Mimi Profiles (GS2-2 Spoliers)

Ini Miney and Mimi Miney. At the end of the case, you find out the girl who you think is Ini Miney is actually Mimi Miney, after severe surgery.

But after she admits, the Court Record doesn't correct itself. Mimi is STILL dead, it doesn't show Mimi with the 'Ini' face, it doesn't even say that the real Ini is dead.

Why?

It's so near to the end of the game that it wouldn't make a bit of difference. It's not like everyone is going to interrupt the moment of victory just to check the Court Record (well, I know I wouldn't...or would i? *shifty eyes*).

I'll hand it to you that it is a bit odd.

It's odd to me. In the first case of JFA, I was regularly checking Maya's profile in the court record while he had amnesia, to see if it changed. And he remembers right near the end of the case... and Maya's profile actually changes to reflect that.

Though I wasn't really checking Ini/Mimi in the Court Record near the end of Case 2.

Does it matter? It never changes any other time. Why bother their arses? 1-5 it doesn't change to reflect that Gumshoe isn't the "detective in charge of the scene" and every other one doesn't have LOLMURDERER.

I guess it's because you wont need to use that in the case and so they don't bother. They mostly update the CR to let you solve the case.
