That spells fun! And that's what I am! AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahehehehe... heh...
*ahem* anyway, I noticed somthing.

1) Edgeworth for some reason is portrayed online a lot as British. I dunno why, mabye because of his tea-chuggingness and accent... By the way where the hell'd he get that accent? If anything he should have hade Karma's german one from living with him, right...? Nevermind. :meekins:

+

2) Apperently the English middle finger is a backwords peace sign, or so I've heard
Spoiler: Saving size

*edit* I changed the pic, sorry.

"Here's my evidence, bizzotch!"

I wonder if they did it on purpose... Doubt it, but it still made me laugh.

There can be the sheer change of voice because of aging.
They could of caught a cold.
They could have changed a bit.

Sometimes just because your British or your another race, doesn't mean you have that accent. It depends where you were raised actually. You could be British then move to Africa and learn their language and sound just like them.

I still don't get where he got the accent to begin with, though... Do you think the English releace came first and the recordings are from there? I dunno, since I've never actually played it ^^;

Um, not in my part of England it isn't... (and yes, that movie was Irish and most of the gestures in the movie poster are meant to be border line offensive, not peace signs)

It's not uncommon for Europeans to pick up an English accent when learning the language. I wouldn't be shocked to hear Manfred or Franziska speak with some weird hybrid German/English accent so it is possible that Edgeworth could have lost his American accent while over there. My part of England has a really strong local accent and the guy I know with the broadest accent is Swedish! He never set foot in England until he was 22 but sounds like he's lived here all of his life. A slight English tint to Edgeworth's voice is more than possible.

But personally, I think they just picked the voice actor with the sexiest "OBJECTION!" and gave him Edgeworth's part. The Englishness was just a bonus :godot:

Maybe Capcom told him to sound British in T&T. Because they're dumb like that. I mean, the other voice actors in T&T weren't great either. Maybe they didn't want Edgeworth to surpass them even more than he already does.

I guess. That's pretty dumb, though.

A peace sign with your hand is shaped like a "V", but a middle finger gesture is shaped like an "I". I don't think "I" is the backwards of "V". I don't even think "V" can be backwards...

Yes you are correct, although the middle finger is also a popular one. I'd say it's about equal these days.

I had never noticed that with the sprite before and it made me LOL :godot: Thanks for that! I'll think of it whenever he's in court now :godot:

As far as Edgey's voice in T&T is concerned, I wasn't too fond of it to begin with, but it grew on me. Still think he has the best "Objection!" on the series. The British accent does seem out of place, though it's been my experience that people from Germany who learn English seem to have a slight English accent. So, he might have picked it up from von Karma.

:holdit:

So he lived in Germany did he? If Manfred really did raise Edgeworth, then they couldn't have stayed in Germany for more than 6 months. von Karma only took one vacation in his entire career: a six month vacation after being shot during DL-6. That was the only time von Karma took a vacation from work, and he is a prosecutor in America. Any time spent in Germany, even as a prosecutor, would be considered time away from his work here in America. So, either Edgeworth was in Germany with his new father for 6 months or not at all. The only other alternative would be that von Karma's wife raised Edgeworth. Did von Karma teach Edgeworth law via correspondence, or did Miles move back to the US once he was old enough to begin learning law? Miles couldn't have spent more than 6 months in Germany while living with von Karma, and even as crazy as von Karma is, I doubt even he could make Edgeworth fully fluent in German in 6 months. :karma:

Thats just it though, aint it?

On the topic of Edgy's voice...the TnT voices all suck. Whenof compared to AA's voice acting, that is. Although I do get a very british vibe from him...that redcoat...I mean seriously! Tell me I'm not the only one who can totally see young edgey with a musket and commodore hat!
