I noticed that Acro's Japanese name is Daisuke Kinoshita. Well, I'm not sure if this is at all related.... but....
There is a man by the name of Daisuke Nakata in the Sasuke competitions. His really well known in the Monster Box torunaments. He's a trampolinest who injured his hands in one tournament of Sasuke.

Do you guys think Acro may be based off of him?

It sounds entirely plausible to me. I mean, they both perform acrobatics of a sort (well Acro used to..), so it fits.

It's possible, but I don't think so. Daisuke is a pretty common Japanese name.
